Animal Microchips is the leading provider of microchips in the UK. We supply chips to implanters, vets and owners. Our chips are high quality, ensuring you always have the tools to do your job. We also have a secure, DEFRA compliant database, where we store pet owner details. If an animal is lost or stolen, chips are scanned and microchip databases are contacted to reunite the pet. Breeders will chip an animal but this is not registering your pet. It is a legal requirement to keep your details up to date as a pet owner.

Happy my puppy is chipped and registered.
We just bought our furry forever friend and she was 10 weeks and so had been microchipped by the breeder. Ryan from Animal Microchips explained that breeders don't pay to have the animals chipped but the person registering pays a one off fee of £24. They then have to update their change of address if they move but there is no further cost. I had a sticker with an expiry date (26/10/2029) left in the microchip card, Ryan explained that this was for the needle to administer the chip or that it could have been for the chip itself which proved it was in date when the chip was injected. It worked perfectly when the vet ID'ed the puppy when we got her first vaccinations. I first gave the company 3* but I was impressed by Ryan who politely and carefully explained how the set up worked and answered any questions. Thank you Ryan!
