Disgusting company

Disgusting company. They insist you sign up to a paid plan just to change your address with them. This may contradict their own GDPR and is possibly illegal

I want to change my home address for my identibase miro-chipped cat - I can't do this simple change unless I get an UPGRADE on my account for £15 a year. Emailled their awful customer service got a chat-bot reply both times saying to log in, that's just takes you to the UPGRADE page. If you are going to move address with your pet, DON'T buy

This is a money making scam

This is a money making scam, and data mining. They said I hadn't completed my details. yet they addressed me by name via my email, and knew my dogs name??????? How come????? if i hadn't completed their form. this makes me feel very uneasy. ana again they want my email to complete this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Address update made easy

Jack provides A* customer service

I just wanted to leave a well deserved glowing review for Jack.
I had an absolute nightmare of a situation, 7 cats that had been microchipped and I needed to transfer them from a different database. Most of them had super long, hard to pronounce names too!
I felt like such a bother but he was not only very reassuring and easy to talk to but very efficient at his job, he made the whole thing a breeze (for me anyway!)
I also have ADHD so I struggle with phone calls and sorting anything remotely important out, I’m very disorganised so the fact he can be trusted to help me says a lot! Give this man a raise, or promotion please, I’m so serious 🙏🏽

Have to pay for changing a contact number

I realised that the mobile number on our account was wrong ... tried to amend this online, but it said to do that, you had to upgrade (at a cost of £15). I emailed and got an automated reply that made not sense. I called the office and spoke to a very friendly agent (Daya) ... she made the change for me (although I still had to pay).
So well done on friendly customer service, but I've given only three stars for being made to pay just to change a mobile number.

Terrible Customer Service

Early April, I received an email stating that my identialert membership would be renewed automatically in May at a cost of £36. I don't remember authorising annual automatic renewal. I didn't want to continue with the membership, so I sent an email to cancel, and I asked for a confirmation email in return. After a few weeks and several further emails from me, I have still not received anything back from Identibase. I've been met with complete silence. I have no idea if they will take the payment when the time comes. Considering the lack of communication from them I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

That said, what you’ve described does seem unusual. We are currently dealing with a high volume of queries, and it’s possible that your request has been placed in a queue, particularly if your renewal isn’t due until May. We do always aim to respond as quickly as possible, and you should typically receive an acknowledgement email followed by a holding update if there is any delay in providing a full response.
To ensure we can look into this properly and get everything sorted for you as quickly as possible, we would recommend giving us a call. Our team will be more than happy to assist you directly and make sure everything is resolved without further delay.
