My parents and I received exemplary service from Harrison Wylie in the course of a recent legal matter we needed help with. He gave clear advice and made sure we understood it. Prompt responses and timely appointments when we needed them. Only negative and I am not going to remove a star for it, is there have been mispellings of names in legal documents this time and on previous dealings, but minor issue in the scheme of things as they did sort it out quickly.

My first appointment was cancelled due to Harrison having an accident. Second appointment went ahead ok . I phoned to pay my bill after holding on for 15 minutes I was advised that there was nobody to speak to I eventually sent a check to pay as I do not do on line banking. All in all I was not impressed

My husband & I had our discretionary Will Trusts set up in March 2019 but 2 years later an email from April King mentioned that the Residential Nil Rate amount of £175,000 had not been incorporated into the Wills. As the government brought this in during 2017, we felt that it should have been included in the original Wills.
We then had the Wills redone to include it at an extra cost of £300. I did mention this to Aurelia during our annual review but she just said she was surprised as the person who did it originally was very good.

There was a spelling error on the form you sent which was uncorrected
We were told to correct and initial which we did
Another letter arrived with correct spelling asking us repeat the process

Taaha Ahmed who was our advisor was excellent he is very knowledgeable, a good listener, helpful and easy to communicate with. Taaha kept us informed all through the process and covered everything that we required even though it was a little complicated.
Thank you again Taaha for helping us with our wishes which isn’t an easy thing to do but you made it so much smoother.

We were initially hesitant at not having a face to face meeting in a given location. However the arrangements to access the link on line were smooth without any problems. We could see our advisor and they could see us throughout our meeting. This arrangement was very satisfactory.

Meetings on line were always on time.
The advisor was friendly, easy to engage with and patiently explained the legal terms which were at times very confusing to us.
We were given time to assimilate the information.
Correspondence was prompt.
Helpful information regarding any signatures was provided and clearly identified on the documents.
It was reassuring that the Wills were checked by the advisor on completion.
Whilst Will writing can be an emotional experience the process was made easier because of the understanding and professionalism of the advisor.

From the very first telephone call to April King we found the reception staff very courteous and informative. Harrison who dealt with our Will enquiry, was superb in explaining every single detail and option, giving us examples, always checking if we understood what he had said and constantly asking if there was anything we wanted to ask questions about. At no point did we feel ptessured and his easy going and relaxed manner made us feel comfortable to ask as many questions as we deemed necessary without worrying that we were wasting his time. We would definitely recommend using April King andxespecsially Harrison.
