The Artificial Plants Shop Avis 

Lovely large artificial uv resistant bamboo trees.
They took a while to come in but they are lovely and provide effective screening for my back garden.
Staff at the APS, especially Katherine and Charlie are very helpful regarding progress of orders.

Ordered a plant pot on 4th January, it stated 10-14 working days for delivery. They emailed me saying it would actually be delivered at the beginning of March - I said that was ok as these things happen.

Fast forward to now and I still have not heard from them or had a single update on the order since January. I called on 2nd April to say I wanted a refund as it has taken so long with no update. They weren't apologetic, and said the refund would be issued that week.

A month later, no refund (not surprised). I am now having to dispute with paypal as they have kept £200 of my money for 4 months.

I'm always wary when I see a few negative reviews on here, but pleased I took the chance and ordered from The Artificial Plants Shop.

I was guided through everything I needed by James, with everything competitively priced and delivered on time.

Happy to recommend this company to anyone looking for artificial plants.

Update: Since I got a refund for non delivery of my plant, I started looking elsewhere and found an identical website, with identical plants, pricing, that just happens to have the same business phone number as Artificial Plants Shop. The galling part of it is all, is both websites claim that this particular item is in stock for delivery within 10 days. In 4 months they couldn’t get my order to me, so this false advertising strategy is clearly deliberate. I would personally avoid this company and their other company trading as replicaplants.co.uk

Previously bought several artificial UV bamboo plants for my garden in 2020. It is worthwhile noting that at that time delivery took longer than expected and as we had paid for a landscaping service the delivery delays contributed to a delay in the garden project.

We have since decided to add another to the garden and purchased one to match the others on 24 December 2022. We were shocked at the price gouging given these are now almost double what we paid for them previously, but needed a plant that would match the others.

On 5 January 2023, I was told it was not in stock but would I accept an indoor plant instead? No, I paid for an outdoor plant which I assume is higher priced than an indoor plant and I needed it to match the previous. I get told my plant is on back order and there will be a delay of 4 weeks which I agree to.

Follow up on 12 March 2023 and get offered a different outdoor bamboo plant instead on 13 March 2023. Reiterate that I need a matching plant given I’ve already purchased 7 bamboo plants previously, and receive no further response.

Can only assume seller has no intention of fulfilling my order so I’ve had to report them to PayPal for a refund.

TLDR: make sure the item you want is in stock, or you may never get it.

Avoid this scam company!

I contacted customer support after 2 weeks of no communication and they stated one of my items wasn't in stock, but they would ship the other at the end of the week and issue a partial refund. 2 more weeks went by, I chased numerous times and had no response.

I have lodged a complaint with Paypal so hopefully should get my money back.

Purchased outdoor Buxus trees. Advertised as 'suitable for inside or outside'.

The real wood truck/stem rotted. Emailed customer services who said they 'don't guarantee any outdoor plants for this reason'? It says 'suitable for inside or outside' on the listing. Not willing to assist any further.

I ordered a plant one month ago. Did not hear anything for two weeks so I emailed them, no response, no update to say my order has been shipped, emailed again and no response.

Quality plants at a great price.

Would recommend James & his team to anyone.

Fast, As Advertised and most importantly good value for Money. I am sick of buying artificial plants that look cheap and frankly too "artificial". Most recently ordered some beautiful lilies and awe-inspiring bonsai trees - both were swiftly dispatched in discrete packaging and carefully wrapped.

They now have pride and place in my home all thanks to the Artificial Plants Shop - highly recommended for all your plant needs, and then some.

I wanted some small plants for my home and could not decide. I phoned a number of times and every time was given clear answers. Delivery was on time. One of the plants was too big. I needed to return it and was given a refund straight away.

I purchased the fire retardant ivy that they advertised on their website, it looked like real in the pictures......what came through the post was very different, absolute rubbish!! I wouldn't use this to decorate my home if they payed me.

I have used this company a couple of times and have been very happy with my purchases. Delivered on time and very realistic. I will be using them again.

Living in the North East I have always had issues with maintaining the quality of the 'real' plants within my garden due to inclement weather. A friend recommended this company to me as they had used them several times and never been let down. At first, I was slightly anxious about how they would turn out, however I have been amazed at the cost, quality and customer service I received from the company. It has also made my garden much more easy on the eye with no maintenance required!

I ordered a large quantity of plants for the grand opening of my refurbished bar following an awful 18 months of Covid. Within minutes I had confirmation of my order being readied, despite my last minute notice. The Artificial Plant Shop exceeded the quality I was expecting and the plants were delivered exceptionally fast. I would recommend this company to anyone and will certainly be back for more. Overall experience wasn't great. I had to wait five weeks for my delivery and when my parcel arrived I was happy with the quality. The plants were a flimsy material instead of plastic. I'm not sure they will last outdoors in the wind.
