This company is absolutely superb best online by far, fantastic customer service can’t do enough to make your shopping experience outstanding! Quality of their products are second to none especially the meat which is top quality? Presented very professionally exactly how you require it?I only shop here for my halal meat, I just have so much confidence in these guys you know it’s going to be good, their dispatch and delivery is fantastically packed super fast service prices for products and delivery are extremely reasonable?I would recommend this company to anyone No hesitation, David. I’ve placed over 7 orders with Bakkali now, and they’ve been consistently excellent every time. Their customer service is outstanding. On the rare occasion there’s a small issue, it’s resolved quickly and professionally. That said, I’ve hardly ever had a problem because everything runs so smoothly!
They offer a fantastic variety of high-quality Middle Eastern products, and their Ayran is a firm favourite in our household. The fresh produce is exceptional, genuinely fresher than anything I’ve bought from major supermarkets.
I’ve recommended Bakkali to friends, family, and colleagues, and will continue to do so. A truly reliable and top-notch service!

A disappointmenting first and last experience. Good customer service though

The customer service was quick to reach out apologised and sent a replacement and a complimentary chicken cut. Can't fault their customer service so 5 stars for that.
First time ordered from them after being exclusively with Tariq Halal for a long time and sure enough turns out to be a disappointment. Asked for 2 whole chickens to be cut into 8 pieces and be without skin but bakkali decided to save their precious time and sent whole chickens with skin. The online order clearly states that and their delivery confirmation email also points the same but somehow they decided to cause inconvenience in trying to save their own time.

I ordered two types of groceries one delivered and the other failed to appear and was refunded. No explanation and when I asked for the item to be sent was told NO as it is too late the refund was issued. No apology. When I ordered I had every intention of buying again from them as I liked the story of how they started but now I have no intention to order from them again.
Update: 23/8/25
Since I wrote my review Bakkali phoned me and offered sincere apology for the mishap. They offered to send the missing item for free. I accepted their apology, turned down the kind offer and intend to continue shopping with them. I have been impressed by how they dealt with the issue in such a sincere and personal manner. The item I received was of highest quality. I wish them every success

It’s such a shame as the quality is…
It’s such a shame as the quality is most of the time really good. I have ordered multiple times over the last year and they always seem to get something wrong, I know no one is perfect but the fine detail is what makes a business stand out.
I find items are missing and I am having to chase them. When they run out of items the don’t give back the correct refund so yet again I’m chasing them.
Again I will say the quality is good and their response is good also but as a customer I shouldn’t have to chase every time I place an order as something has been missed by your team.

I placed an order for about 120 pounds. It consisted of cheese, juices, bread, meat, chicken...
Seriously, I was surprised to find that the liver and kidneys were rotten, their color was almost black, and their smell was very bad. I even took the garbage bag out of the house the same day because of the strong smell. I just want to warn customers. Seriously, if I had time, I would have filed a complaint at FSA and environmental health council. And I would have followed up until action taken against this seller. I am sure that it is not a coincidence, and that he has other rotten products. Shame on you for selling rotten food. Unfortunately, the site does not support attaching images for customers to view.

I was contacted by customer service. They asked me about the issue in detail so they could determine which step in the process caused the problem. The conversation was nice and friendly. They explained that the meat products are handled and shipped by a third-party provider. I understood their explanation. They apologized and sent me a free replacement.
What stood out to me — and the reason I would change my review — is their excellent customer service. They truly care about customer satisfaction and kept following up via phone and email until the issue was resolved.
