I ordered type of biscuits and I was given different type which I didnot order and I spoke to customer service who advised will send the ordered one but given same .the person from customer service gave different name from the email .I have very sad and disappointed experience 😞

We want to clarify that the item originally ordered was a specific type of biscuit from a particular brand, and when that exact variety wasn’t available, our sourcing team sent a similar one from the same brand that included dates, as a temporary solution. When you reached out, we immediately offered either a refund or a replacement — and upon your preference, we sent a replacement at no cost.

We truly understand how important specific preferences are, especially when it comes to nostalgic or traditional products. That’s why, even after the replacement, we contacted several suppliers in an effort to locate the original version. While it’s currently unavailable due to it being an older type of biscuit, we have placed a sourcing request with our partners should it come back in stock.

Regarding your customer service experience, please note that we have multiple team members assisting customers, which may explain the name difference you mentioned.

We’re truly sorry this didn’t go as smoothly as we hoped and appreciate your patience as we continue working hard to meet your expectations.

Meat was fine no glaring issues..But

Meat was fine no glaring issues! Only thing that was annoying was the 500g chicken breasts was literally just one big breast. Would be good in the future if 2 or more smaller ones can be sent that total same weight! Will defo be ordering again though

Cannot recommend the store more!
I have ordered some delicate meat cuts for special middle-eastern style dishes and I was really surprised to find everything I wanted in Bakkali!
From special meat cuts, rare-to-find herbs and condiments, to fruits, vegetables, and sweets! Delivered so fresh and exactly on time.
Customer service went above and beyond with our order, as one of the cuts I needed were not available after I made my order. They let me know beforehand, refunded the money, and on top of that, kindly sent some fresh meat cuts as a compliment! I rarely find such level of service anywhere.
The meat was nicely and securely packed with lots of ice packs all around. When opened, it was very fresh. I have ordered some lamb intestine (Mumbar) which is known to be a really tricky piece to handle, but bakkali delivered everything so fresh. I also ordered some ingredients to make Knafeh; like Akkawi cheese, orange food colouring, etc. everything was top quality. Couldn’t be happier and won’t be last time to order of course!

Finally all my favourite middle eastern products in one place!

Ordered from the first time on Bakkali and can't wait to place another order! I live in an area where it's hard to find my favourite middle eastern products and it was such a joy to find them all on one website!! Finally been able to cook my favourite Syrian dishes, the halal meat was very fresh and the products were great quality. The whole experience was 10/10

The order never arrived and there was no communication from Bakkali until I chased them and sharing the horrible experience. I ordered meat so it was frustrating that they didn't say anything as the meat would spoil if no delivery. I received a refund but the experience was awful. Also the first time discount didn't work, appalling.
