At the beginning of July, I went to one of your branches in Sydney upon a friend's recommendation to have the battery in my car replaced. The battery in my car was removed and another battery was installed. After that, my car never started again. No matter what they tried, it didn’t work. The old battery was put back, so I didn't make any payment, and I was told to take my car from there. Two days later, I had to tow the car away. When my car was diagnosed at the service, I learned that some electronic parts were rendered non-functional and needed to be replaced, leaving me with a significant expense. I had never experienced any issues with my car before, and I had to take it from your branch in a faulty condition, with no responsibility accepted on your side. Following a fair trading outcome, your branch is putting the blame on me. Never shop again and recommend to anyone!!

Went to BW Noosaville to get our battery checked for the car as the car was acting like there was no power at all to it. Was told it tested within range so nothing they could do and to come pick it up. Mechanic told me the battery was the problem, but BW wouldn't listen. What good is a warranty if you don't honor it.

Went to Battery World Macgregor Qld to buy 2 x replacement batteries for a 1980s hand-held game. Was sold a pair for $9. They lasted about a week. The original ones had lasted for five 5 years. Took the flat ones back, and was told that I "should have bought something stronger." Was told an alternative model number to try (out of stock at Macgregor) and told which other Battery World store currently had them. No refund offered, or apology given. Went home and bought correct ones from Ebay for $2.20.

They no longer provide a simple service such as spot welding .
Very poor indeed.

I went I into the battery world Albion to get a new battery for my car remote. I was treated like I was a burden. I was charged $10 for the battery and $5 for putting it in, not even given a choice. Within a couple of weeks it stopped working. I went back to the shop and they made me wait 25mins for a replacement battery. I told them it was new 2 weeks ago and they made every excuse not to replace it for free. I’d apparently leaned on it , flattening it. Then the charged me another $15. That’s $30 for a battery that came out of their draw and not from a new packet. I would never use them again

Last night I needed a replacement car battery and connected with Shane at Battery World in Mentone. He was very polite, very helpful and was at our house within the hour to supply and fit the replacement. An excellent experience - Thanks Shane from a very happy customer

Needed a very big battery or an old land rover v8. Battery World was the only place that had the battery I was after and it had it at a good price too. The store person was super helpful and knowledgeable. Happy customer here. Cheers.

I got a battery installed today by battery world Browns Plains. Got the $350 one not the $280 one. The staff were polite and fitted the battery. Only for it to catch on fire tonight and now my car is a write off! Police and Fire Brigade borh confirmed battery. Called the 24 hour line they said call in the morning and they were sorry to hear. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Lucky its only a leap year every 4 years right?

I went to the Mount Barker store (Totness) with a battery issue in my Alfa Romeo. The guys could have just sold me a $600 battery but instead they performed extensive testing on my existing battery and told me no new battery was needed. Such honest and helpful assistance is rare these days! Well done guys!

I had an appointment at 10am for a battery change. I was 10 mins early and waited for the doors to open. A guy named Josh came out and asked who was first by then there was also another person waiting and clearly I was first. He checked my car then left me hanging for a while, he started serving everyone else that came after me even though I had an appointment booked. When I approached him about 10mins later to see if I was next he said “if you can’t wait you can go somewhere else, can’t you see I’m flat out?” He was so rude I will never get another service there again. Horrible customer service.

Recently needed some advise regarding my battery set up so visited the Team at Rocklea (sherwood rd) and was extremely impressed by the service.

They provided through detailed solutions regarding my system so I decide to revisit them the next day to complete some work and was not disappointed.

Max worked for several hours to complete this task (even through his break). Not only did Max try to keep the cost down by creative ideas and hard work. Max also managed to provide/install fail safe solutions to allow my set up to run efficiently and safely at a flick of a button.

Highly recommend this Team, and is now my preferred place for all my battery solutions.

I have a Mazda 6 Atenza Diesel, my I stop battery was replaced 3 years ago by Mazda at $820.
Today I needed to replace that ‘genuine’ battery, Mazda don’t want to know it’s just about the $$$
Did some research, found Battery World in Dandenong, spoke to Geoff who was more than helpful on a Saturday morning.
Advised what I needed, price was $520 fitted and if I wanted to come in now, he could do it.
1 hour later new correct battery fitted, simple, easy, brilliant customer service & on my way home.

I went to have my battery check last 02, November 2023 because my car battery gets drain, within one minute after checking the voltage their personnel said I need a new battery, I took his advise and bought his recommended AGM battery, however few days after I went for an hour drive and in the highway, my car just died, the road assistance jumpstart my car and I was told that it wasn’t the battery but alternator. I guess Battery World is DISHONEST and just want to make a sale, funny thing is I called Bankstown Battery World regarding my experience and the Manager ask me If I can remove my negative rating! Are you kidding me, while you see Battery World Bankstown has good reviews probably because they are asking people to remove negative reviews please avoid going to Battery World.

We have supported Battery World Coffs Harbour for many years and have always regarded them and their product, Century Batteries, as welcoming and efficient.
However we purchased 2 x 120 AH AGM batteries for our caravan some 2.1/2 years ago. They have both failed after this period of time.
Having faith in both the product and Battery World we purchased another two Century 120 AH AGM batteries to replace the failed ones.
We expressed our disappointment with the batteries only lasting 2.1/2 years and were told to contact Century Batteries in Queensland.
Head office palmed off the inquiry and suggested we discuss the issue with the supplier.
I referred the reply back to Battery World Coffs Harbour and to date have had no reply from them.
Disappointing to say the least in as much as I have respected the business and its owners and do not like to criticize a business in the place that I live.
The batteries that came with the new build van were an American battery and lasted 10 years prior to fitting Century Batteries.
In considering the foregoing it is not in my best interest to continue business with Coffs Harbour Battery World nor will I purchase another Century battery because of their support.
I regret that I was not able to write a constructive review for Battery World Coffs Harbour after dealing with them for so long.

Obviously faulty battery within warrantee but they claimed that, although battery chargers showing Fault the need to "force charge' for 3 days before they can approve a warrantee claim. So no bike for the public holiday weekend!

Called up battery world Noosaville stating my Yuasa battery was dead and asked when I purchased it as it was stated the it came with a 40 month warranty.
I was correct as the battery was only coming up to 34 months.
Took it back to the store and told the guy what the go was. This battery wasn't used much in my old car. He put a meter on it and read 5 volts.
Apparently Yuasa don't do warranty if the battery falls below 8 volts I was told.
So there you go, not worth a pinch of the paperwork.
Went to Repco and got the same battery there, told the bloke there about my experience with battery world and he couldn't believe it.
Repco battery has pretty much the same warranty offered if not more and if the battery goes dead no matter what voltage it is on you will get a new one.
Thanks Battery world - you can keep your "Aussie" batteries.
