I’ve always bought my clothes from John Banks and continue to do so because of the consistently excellent service. The staff are always pleasant, professional, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to chat through items, and I’ve never felt rushed during a visit. I shop both online and in-store, and the experience is seamless either way.

We were looking for a Suit for Royal Ascot for my husband. Sue the lady that served us made us feel welcome and was very nice to talk to. My husband was given time to choose and we didn’t feel pressured into buying anything. However we came out with a lovely Suit and opened a Loyalty Card so will definitely come back. Thank you ☺️

Went in to get a suit for my Husband for a wedding. Sue helped us with measurements and helping to get the right outfit. Sue could not do enough for us to get the right fit etc. we went out very pleased with the professional help we received and we got everything we needed for the big day.

I have 2 great experiences to talk about. Firstly, my son is getting married in August. Myself and the other grooms people came a few Saturdays ago and I have left with a lovely suit. I know the others are waiting on stock and some potential alterations but our service was exemplary.

I have also just had some shoes delivered from you. From placing the order to delivery was literally next day and the shoes are really comfortable and look great. I will be buying more in the future! Thank you!

Our visit to John Banks Big and Tall Menswear was nothing short of exceptional! As a plus-size man shopping for wedding attire, I was blown away by the service, which was quite a relief because before I turned up I was struggling!

From the moment we walked in, the staff took care of everything, with an almost uncanny knack for picking the perfect fit right off the rack. The clothes I have now are spot on for our big day! They were also incredibly kind to my fiancée, making us both feel so welcome and even congratulating us on our upcoming wedding, which added such a lovely personal touch. The 2.5 hour trip was absolutely worth it, and with my details now on file, I can easily order online in the future. I can’t recommend this store enough for any big guy looking for quality clothes and outstanding, heartfelt service!

Had to buy a new suit for a award ceremony I'm short and a round (overweight) individual and it has always been a nightmare buying stuff like this but from start to finish as soon as I walked in the shop Nettie who looked after me was there no judgement just fantastic service she offered advice and helped me find what I needed it was a truly amazing experience that I normally dread but thourally enjoyed I would 100% recommend John Banks Big and Tall and it will not be the last time I visit Thanks again Nettie

Very good service and Quality. Description was not very accurate said it was a waffle fleece dressing gown. There’s no fleece in it.

Took longer to arrive than expected because of holiday period purchased 8 pairs of shorts all fitted well but all bar one was light weight material than expected but otherwise ok

I recently purchased a Navy Cardigan, to go with a Grey Cardigan I already have. The whole online purchase process from start to finish was very straightforward, as I am not tech savvy at all. The item was ordered at 2.30pm and arrived promptly at 10am the following day. Email confirmation was received once the order was placed and there was a pre paid returns slip included with order, just in case. Buy with confidence from this seller. I’ve got big wide feet, and never shop online for shoes. I decided to try John Banks as I couldn’t find what I needed. Ordered size 13 wide, and they were too small. However, included was a return form that made swapping up to a 14 really easy. Turnaround was quick, and the shoes exactly what I needed. I will use them again. I never write reviews normally, but they deserve this one.

I had the pleasure to be served by Andy. From the moment I arrived he gave me his full attention and helped me find everything needed. As someone who is bigger than average (some would say a bit fat) John Banks had a fantastic range of quality clothing. They had extra short trousers length and suits for all chest sizes. Great selection of formal and informal clothing. I even found some jeans that fitted. I highly recommend visiting the store as in my first visit I managed to purchase everything I wanted. I have joined their loyalty scheme and will be visiting again very soon. Also, free parking is available at the front of the shop, which is a bonus!

Visited today for the very first time and I will add, it certainly won't be the last time. As a large chap I actually hate the thought of clothes shopping but from the moment I walked through the door I felt relaxed and welcome. Ian who was assisting me put me at ease right away and had a very good eye for details finding my sizes straight away without a tape measure. Every single thing he picked for me fit like a glove and luckily didn't need any alterations either. I left the shop smiling. Im actually looking forward to my wife's graduation now!!!! Banks has been my go-to online retailer for tall clothing for years. They have a decent range of clothing and competitive prices, plus a great returns policy. However, their customer service is A1. This is of primary importance for online shopping. For example, I ordered a pair of jeans and a shirt for me (I'm size LT) and a shirt for my son (3XLT), James Wright called me to double check I hadn't misordered due to the different sizes. That's what I call proper customer service. Thanks Banks 👍🏼

What an amazing experience I have had, staff were amazing very friendly and no job was too much. They catered for everything I needed for my special day. The suit I collected yesterday was tailored to my shape and staff were very supportive. 100% say go here they are all amazing and good quality clothes/ suits.

Being 6' 7", it can be rather difficult to find clothes that fit me, let alone at a reasonable price that you don't need to take a mortgage out for just to buy a jacket.

I'd heard about the John Banks Big & Tall Menswear shop before, but never really visited. However, when I needed a new suit, I thought I would give it a try, and I am so glad that I did.

With off street parking right outside, the store itself is quite a haven covering everything in big & tall menswear, from posh suits and and shirts, right through casual and beachwear, down to shoes, socks and belts. The best thing is that everything is very reasonably priced, and there is a vast range to choose from.

Andy came over to help my family and I to see what they had in my size, and effectively gave me a very personalised service for the next hour or so in selecting a suit, which then went on to choosing a number of items to update my wardrobe. A totally first class service where nothing was too much trouble.

I also often struggle to get shoes in my size (Size 15), but again Andy came to the rescue, because right next door is the John Banks shoe shop with a wide range of styles up to size 17. Again, nothing was too much trouble to find the right style and size.

In short, my family and I discussed everything afterwards and all of us said how impressed we were with the store, and in particular the service that we received from Andy.

If you are a man who is either big or tall (or both), I can't recommend this place enough. Parking right outside, great ranges of products and all at very reasonable prices, where Andy and the team are very helpful to get you exactly what you want.

I have been with my husband for over 18 years and being almost 6ft6" with a very long seat area he has never ever had jeans that fit. I went on the hunt again and found some here at John banks online. I ordered them and they had the same issue with the seat area. I called the store to ask advice after seeing they had high rise online. The lady Caroline I spoke to was so friendly and so helpful. She arranged to have a pair of high rise sent out which I had within 2 days. She also explained how to send the first two pairs I ordered that didn't fit.

The new pair fit absolutely perfectly and were a great price as they aren't stocking them anymore (although full price for the quality was also very reasonable) I called back and ordered whatever they had left and yet again Caroline was super friendly and got them ordered straight away.

We will definitely be back, its great to find a place that caters for larger men. A lot of branded shops say they do but honestly they don't seem to have the range they promise. But John Banks defiantly does.

I'm gutted we live so far away we cannot visit in store.
