So normally these tours are a nice way to just sit and get a general knowledge of the area, but this tour was awesome! Our drivers and guides were Tanya and Freo, and they sang us traditional irish songs! It was infinitely more fun and impressive! Best bus tour I've experienced by far! Now, they just need to print off the lyrics and give them both bonuses!

The bus trip was great. The buses were clean and ride comfortable. The drivers’ commentaries made all the difference. Best commentary was given by Kieron. Very informative, musical and amusing! Well done.

My wife and I live in Dublin, but yesterday we decided to play tourist in our own city while showing two German friends around. We booked the Big Bus Dublin tour and were fortunate enough to have Jimmy as our guide.

Having previously used both the green bus services, DoDublin and City Sightseeing, we already had a good benchmark for comparison. I can honestly say that Jimmy delivered the best tour experience we've had in Dublin.

Our German guests made full use of the multilingual audio commentary and were extremely impressed by the quality, clarity and information provided. For us, however, Jimmy's live commentary was the real highlight. His knowledge of Dublin's history, culture, architecture and people was second to none. Every stop, landmark and story was brought to life with a perfect mix of fascinating facts, local insight and genuine Dublin humour.

What really stood out was how natural and engaging he was throughout the entire journey. The banter never felt forced, and he had the whole bus entertained from start to finish. Even as Dublin residents, we learned new things about our own city and found ourselves looking at familiar places from a completely different perspective.

Jimmy is clearly passionate about Dublin and takes great pride in sharing its history and character with visitors. That enthusiasm shines through and makes a huge difference to the overall experience.

Whether you're visiting Dublin for the first time or, like us, have lived here for years, I would highly recommend taking the Big Bus tour. If you're lucky enough to get Jimmy as your guide, you're in for a fantastic experience.

Very positive experience with Big Bus Dublin. Booking was straightforward, the buses were easy to locate, and the hop-on hop-off system made getting around the city simple and stress-free.

Our driver was informative and engaging without sounding overly scripted, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions throughout the day.

We ended up walking to several of the stops while exploring, but the Guinness Storehouse — especially the Gravity Bar at the top — was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Overall, this was a relaxing and convenient way to see Dublin and get familiar with the city. We’d definitely recommend doing it early in your visit.

The tour guide & driver, Gerry. Great tour! He was very entertaining, knowledgeable, funny & included everyone. Took the time to talk to each person on the tour. Great scenery &food options. All in all, the best tour & guide yet!

Our half day trip to Howth was excellent thanks to our witty and helpful driver DJ Lee Chelsea. You're the best at what you do, but I still hasn't found what I'm looking for... regardless, thank you for going out your way to help us find it. This trip is highly recommended.

Half day trip to Howth, Ireland using Big Bus Tours is great! Gerry was our driver who provided a guided tour of center city Dublin all the way to Howth. Gerry knew a lot of interesting facts about Dublin and Howth. He provided recommendations for restaurants, places to visit while in Howth and when to be back on the bus! The views back to Dublin from Howth are great. The trip to Howth is a great to see sites outside of downtown Dublin.

I purchased two days on the Big Bus in Dublin and only road the bus twice because the routes were always late, causing me to be late for my scheduled events. Talking with the company is not helpful as they insist that they deserve to hold onto your money even though the service was not provided. DO NOT BOOK, we ended up having to purchase city bus tickets and took Ubers which were reasonable in price and got us to where we needed to go on time.

All drivers were great! Made each trip fun, and enjoyed listening to all the information they shared on each stop. Also very helpful when asking for directions.

We enjoyed multiple busses, the best was with Brian narrating and singing for us on the top deck throughout the route. Every guide brings different flavor and he had poems, jokes, and songs galore!
Thank goodness we all survived the pre-Guinness tree!

June 4, 2025 we bought a 2 day trip in Dublin The second day the driver, an upset short and very heavy man was talking loud over the bus microphone saying things that had nothing to do with the city’s sights A passenger received a phone call and this driver yelled at him in the microphone in a nasty matter. Then, I was talking to my wife and he yelled at us very nastily
