Update: After posting this review, I received the deposit into my PayPal account, which, after the deposit, now has limitations on the account and I cannot access the funds. I truly hope this is not due to some issue with BBT.

I did ship this w/in the time frame for the $10.00 fast shipping bonus, and that was not included in the deposits.

While, in the end, the service worked as described, there would have been no communication during the process had I not been persistent in reaching out. BBT really needs to work on that. Simple emails advising people where they are in their process, or an ability to track it on your website would go very far to instilling trust with your customers. Also, a working phone number.

I will absolutely update this review if I hear back from Bing Bong Tec.

I sent them a phone nine days ago, (Monday, 9/30), they received it on Wednesday (October, 10/2). On Thursday, 10/3, I received this email: "Yes, I can confirm we have received the phone and it has been forwarded for inspection. We will keep you posted along the way but turn around time for payment is 2-5 business days."

We are at close of business on the 5th day, I have not heard from them, they have not responded to an email sent at the beginning of the day today, and the only phone number I can find rings immediately to a voice mail that has not been set up.

If anyone wants to get real cash instead of change for your used phones you definitely need to use Bing bong!

I had an issue cashing the echeck (which was no fault of bing bong) Nate gladly assisted me in recieving the money offered for my phones in a different payment method. Nate was kind, efficient and very patient. I would definitely do business with them again!

They actually paid me WAY more for my broken iPhone X than I would have gotten if I had the screen and back fixed and sold it myself!! Cheers

My order passed inspection almost 4 weeks ago and I have not been paid. I have not received any answer to my email inquiries either. I am at a loss of what to do. Scam?
I will change my review if the company contacts me or sends me the money I am due.

Highest price payed for used cell phone. Within a day of setting it up online, they called to see if I had sent it. It went the next day. A few days later, notified that it was all good and I would receive payment in a day. That was two weeks ago. I have emailed with no response back!

UPDATE: they saw this review and responded quickly. They never received my communications, said check was sent. They reissued check immediately and it cleared.

Update - after posting this - I received an email from the company and they sent me an echeck which they indicated was sent on 7/26 but it was not received, they also claimed to never seeing my multiple emails - claiming they went to their spam folder? Nonetheless I was paid but hardly a straightforward approach - I did say I would post an updated review but buyer beware, if they only respond to you if you post a poor review then......

I have sent numerous emails with no response and no payment - rec’d my phone 7/22 and still have not received payment - no way to get in touch other than email which they don’t respond to - SCAM! I AM REPORTING THEM TO BBB

Excelllent product

Initially I had a very hard time with Bing bing Tec. You can read my original review below.
However I finally go a hold of someone on the phone, Nate, and he was SO helpful and got everything squared away and made everything right. Turns out they were in the process of moving so there was some loss of contact causing issues with communication. Now that I know who I can talk to for help, I would sell to them again.

They quoted me $60 over what they said they would actually pay me and when I asked to have my phone sent back to me they ghosted. I spoke with one gentleman on the phone after I hadn’t heard from them for weeks and he said my phone would be shipped back to me at no extra cost. Never received it and never received an email back. Called again and again until someone finally answered and they also said my phone would be shipped back to me and I’ll receive tracking info the next day. Never did, and instead I received an email saying that I was misinformed and that it was too late to be sent my phone back (even though it was their fault it was too late) and that I would receive a check via email for the phone. It’s been over a month since I’ve sent my phone in and I still have not received said check and no one will answer the phone or respond to my email.

These people are complete jokes. The good category said minor wear and tear, minor scratches, and small dings. When my phone showed up with very minor scratches they said major scratches and change the category to fair to change my offer. Don't waste your time with these people. If they had a zero I would have given it to them and that may have been to nice. Complete waste of my time.

Horrible "company". They lie about the condition of your phone when they get it and then they string you along with little to no communication after that. Had to wait nearly two weeks for payment and that was after I sent multiple emails, was hung up on over the phone. Finally said they sent an eCheck on 7/13, and that it must've gone to my junk folder, which isn't true, and even if it were, I selected PayPal as my payment method, so that's a moot point. They also say they are BBB accredited, which they are not and have been reported to the BBB for. Given what I know now I should've just demanded the phone be sent back after they lied about the condition of it, but I just wanted to be done with it, for all the good it did me.

I have been trying to contact them for my payment for over a week. My phone arrived at their facility last week... they probably stole it. No response at all.

Update: I eventually did get my phone paid over 2 weeks after it arrived, at the right price listed for when I sold it. Also, they recently contacted me and I was given compensation for the error.

I was quoted $148 for an iPhone 6s Plus and received an email stating that the Phone was received and approved and that I would be receiving an e-check within 1 business day. It has been 4 business days since that email was sent to me and I have attempted to contact their support via email multiple times with no response. I'm getting quite impatient and fear my phone is now gone with nothing received on my end. Regardless of whether or not my check is ever received, the quality of support I received throughout the trade-in process was very poor.

Quick and easy. What a great experience and they paid so much more for my phone than the others. I would definitely recommend BingBong Tec.
