I have had help from Megan a couple of times before, and it is the same every time I am pleased to say.
Megan is knowledgeable, willing to help, which is done promptly and has a personality that says, I am happy and not miserable in my work. A real pleasure to deal with.

I received a set of Bands and Hooks but no fixings. A webform request didn't supply any answers and a phone call to sales was much better - it was in fact great as the sales person said they'd get the fixings off to me. That was a couple of weeks ago now. I hadn't received them and got onto the Facebook chat and a further email which, to be fair was responded to within the day. On providing the answers to the query no further contact at all and no resolution for the problem of how to hand a set of gates without any fixings! I even asked for the specification so I could purchase myself or buy the missing items all to no avail. It's pretty poor customer service considering they'd offered a remedy immediately but never actually did what they said they would. I've gone out and purchased the necessary fixings that I needed and taken the hit on paying twice for the fixings. It is a shame as they were so obviously attentive to start with and just failed miserably in following through.

This is the worst postcrete I have ever used. Is filled with more shingle aggregate than Crete itself. Even after being left to set over night the posts still seemed to wobble and wast sturdy at all!

I have been replacing my fence and as part of it runs across concrete decided to use the Durapost system. The corner /end posts were sourced locally with the appropriate 'u' channel. It was later discovered that the bolt down brackets were not available at any stockists. Spoke to Birkdale sales and they quickly identified the appropriate part and arranged delivery.
The bolt down brackets arrived next day and are extremely good quality. In fact all the durapost fencing I have purchased has been of the same high quality. The sales team at Durapost (Birkdale) are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Fence came down in high winds. Contacted Dan from DTM Fencing who gave me two quotes one for a like for like replacement and one for durapost. I opted for durapost and composit gravel boards as the price difference was minimal. This is a great product leaving clean lines on both sides and with a 25 year guarantee. I would recommend Dan and durapost every time now.

Still at planning stage but help and assistance from office staff is absolutely excellent. Efficient, knowledgeable and quick.
Looking forward to being able to post another 5* review when our fence is in.

i bought a 70mm long thow gate mate gate lock from screwfix for a gate i had made upon fitting gate was not working due to faulty cog gear on the euro lock screwfix do not carry these as a stock item, if fact no one locally does this is a massive shame as there the best locks for the money bar none . i have fitted 150 plus over the years . i make a lot of gates ,sheds and garage doors all in timber and only fit these locks .
emailed birkdale with in 10 minute of sending email mark from birkdale had rang me apologized for the matter had a chat about work etc agreed to send me a replacment next day a great honest company who sell and make great products with great staff.
i have never had a single call / problems from any locks i have fitted this is a true test of how well there made highly recomend there products

Issue with bulbs blown in outside light system. Managed to get in contact with Jack Clegg from Birkdale was absolutely brilliant in speed in responding and sorting out the issue - replacement bulbs sent out for next day delivery. couldn't have been more helpful = credit to the company!!!!!

bought one of the gatemate locks from screwfix 6 months ago two of the keys broke off in lock the last one yesterday broke and i could not get in to my property had to call a lock smith to get me in locking at the other spare keys one of them is bent so i risk it happening again the metal the keys are made of is not fit for the job. so now i will have to replace the lock or risk it happening again THEY HAVE SENT ME A NEW LOCK TO REPLACE FAULTY ONE THANKYOU

Due to the ongoing problems with Birkdale we are now actively seeking an alternative supplier.
It's a shame as we have dealt with Birdale for a number of years, but since the introduction of their new system everything has spiraled downhill very rapidly.
One can only take the excuses of "the new system" for so long.
We are losing customers due to lack of timely supply from Birkdale so have to do something to resolve the issue.

Great service and well beyond expectation. I contacted due to a problem i was experiencing to explore if they could help with a product that was out of normal warranty. without any hesitation they went above and beyond by sending me a replacement that arrived the following day. Can't fault that for support on what is a really good product anyway. Thanks must go to Sarah for all the help
