Customer Service in NZ doesn't exist

Ordered a product then realized it had less protein than desired, so immediately cancelled the order and requested a refund. For the past 6 days I have been waiting for a response, nothing. They also don't have any 'real' way to get in contact with a person. Just the worst AI chat that keeps saying someone will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. Same with the product I ordered, was told it would be received in 2 business days...insult to injury making me wait for a product I don't even want.
Looks like it's standard BS and they just there to take your money and not offer any customer service. Could have been such a simple process to get this fixed ( I would have switched my original purchase for another one of their products) but of course with many companies today, they don't have time for their customers just their money. Would not recommend buying from Blackgold, overpriced and simply terrible customers service.

EDITED: responding to your comments below: You absolutely did not reply within 48 hours, that is a complete lie. I ordered from you on the 23rd of January, you replied on the 30th, once the product left your store. Sad that you have to create a false narrative to avoid your failure, when you could simply own up and be better. It's ok though, I will never shop there again. Recommend anyone else use extreme caution when looking at purchasing products from this online provider.

Terrible communication, months later I still haven’t received my order.

Ordered November, by mid December order still hadn’t arrived with no communication from Blackgold as to why. Then just after Christmas a box finally arrives but it’s only part of my order. Still haven’t seen the rest of it and again no communication from
blackgold as to why.
Very disappointing as I spent a sizeable amount on product and feel like I have been scammed. Do not buy from BlackGold

Great service for a great product

Great service for a great product. It has enhanced our health and energy bigtime. We add it to our morning beverage for a good start to the day. It doesn't dominate the taste of our beverage, which I like.

Blackgold took unauthorised payments out of my account ,I didn't sign up for a monthly subscription it is all a scam ,I am taking this matter to the ombudsman and having them barred from taking money out if my account and if they continue to try and do so it will become a police matter , just beware these company isn't illegit

Poor customer service

I’ve been trying to get a response from this supplier to cancel my repeat orders but to no avail. Admittedly we’ve just had Christmas and the New Year holidays but many businesses have resumed their operations more than a week now. During this time they could have acknowledged & responded to my emails.

The product has caused me daily headaches despite following their instructions. Based on my negative experience, I would advise caution before buying the product,

Can’t talk in person, poor communication …

Package took around a month to arrive which would have been alright if communication had been good but communication was extremely slow took days if not over a week to receive a reply.was constantly chasing them for information .no phone number to contact and talk to someone.was done all online when package did arrive it was missing products.such a shame as they’ve lost a customer who signed up for monthly deliveries of over $2500 a year

Buyer Beware BlackGold Elixir charged our account without our approval for items we didn’t order. We have tried to follow up with the company and they do not respond to our emails we have asked for a refund and nothing. Be very aware when on site for BlackGold Elixir.com
They are quick to respond to a bad review but they never resolve their scams. Terrible website

The product itself was ok

The order was processed on a Sunday morning when there were no options to contact the company and cancel it.
I received a reply with a return label via email on the Wednesday.
I received an email from the courier on the Friday saying the product had been shipped.
It arrived on the following Wednesday.
My question is, why couldn't the order be cancelled the day or two after I emailed to cancel it? Why was it shipped out 5 business days after I contacted the company to cancel it?
Overall, the issue was resolved, but the process could have gone a lot easier.

The product itself was ok, but I wasn't that impressed with it.
The issue was that I ordered it once to try it out, and was automatically signed up for a subscription and only discovered after they charged me a second time.
I have contacted the company for a refund and am waiting for a response.

I subscribed to this in NZ and I swear I was paying about $20 - $30 per month for the 60g pouch, which I was happy with because it was a coffee alternative for midday and later. I couldn't really tell if it had any impact on me, but I liked it. I brought a number of pouches back to the UK with me. Now it has launched in the UK and I was just about to sign up, but the price hike is mind-blowing! I checked back on the NZ website and prices have shot up there too! How can wondering that used to be affordable suddenly be SO expensive. I'm very disappointed as I definitely can't afford it anymore 😢💔

BE CAREFUL. They sign you up unknowingly

BE CAREFUL they are very sneaky. They sign you up for a subscription and charge you monthly. LEGAL SCAMMING at its finest. The product is nothing like coffee. It tastes like dirt. As for the benefits, I can’t say. Personally I didn’t feel any thing from this product.

Zero Communication

First time ordering they short shipped me by 2 bottles then do not answer emails. Im out of pocket with no communication from them. Bad service. Will not be ordering again as feels like a scam
