Blackpool Zoo Avis 

We have Visted alot of Zoos and this is the second we vistied blackpool zoo and on both occastions all the animals looks limp amd not with it as concerns me we have vistit south lakes zoo and all the animals are lively and responsive unlike blackpool zoo all the animals are lame and look unwell

Information on the website is wrong! The info states that if you stay until closing you will see the big cats being fed, we missed the talk so asked a staff member later in the day what time the cats would be fed as it was going to be a huge highlight of our visit to be told it is done during the talk. We were very frustrated at this especially having planned our day following the wrong information on your website. Also whilst eating in the lake side cafe, the cleaner was sweeping the floor then proceeded to use the same brush to brush any crumbs off the chairs at the table next to us. The amount of dirt, germs and bacteria that would be on that sweeping brush to then see it be used on the same chairs your customers have to sit on is absolutely disgusting! It left me and my family feeling like we were wearing dirty clothes for the rest of the day and we had to be extra careful not to touch the back of our trousers! Not to even mention the fact that we had touched the chairs to pull them into the table to eat and our hands then touched our food, we had to stop eating, wash our hands then finish our meal. This is a major issue and the cleaner ought to be sacked. Absolutely disgusting.

This was so fun! Since my 2 daughters were going back to school, I decided to take them to the zoo. They loved it! They did get scared of the lions 😱 but overall such a fun day!

Hello, we bought 2 tickets to the zoo for today but were unable to find a parking space after 20 minutes of looking, even with the overflow parking there were no spaces left, we arrived at 12:30 and are now having to leave, lost our money with no place to park to enjoy the tickets we travelled 40 minutes from home to come today, we are very disappointed in the service, if you are high in demand and are expecting a busy day either stop ticket sales or have enough parking spaces to accommodate for the people you’re expecting.👎🏻

Had a very good view of all the animals. All facilities were excellent and staff friendly and helpful. One of my favourite animals are Gorillas and they did not disappoint 🥰. We really enjoyed the dinosaurs too.

Fantastic day out with Husband & 2 Granddaughters, very very impressed with the whole experience, plenty of places to eat your own food, tables & chairs everywhere. The zoo has really had some renovations and looks magic, a lot better than London Zoo, plenty of animals and the first time I have seen a Red Panda. The gift shop was very good with plenty of gifts to suit everyone, plenty of staff about to help you.
All the animals very clean and looked happy.
Car parking not a rip off for £3. Would visit again

The zoo itself was brilliant, so much for the kids to see and experience with a wide range of talks/shows throughout the day. However…the toilets were disgusting and the baby changing facilities were definitely not up to scratch. There was only one private cubicle in the whole zoo in which you could change/feed your baby, otherwise you were left to change them on a pull down changing table next to the sinks for everyone to see. The layout of the gents toilets also needs re-thinking with the urinals overlooking the play area!

family of 5, excellent from start to finish, we all enjoyed the day a little pricey but if the kids enjoy it then all is good

We visited on Thursday 13 7 23 we previously ordered my wife a mobility scooter on Arrival the scooter was issued to my wife and was instructed on how to operate it.we checked in at reception and was well informed about the new arrivals and useful information about the zoo we had a very enjoyable day visited almost everything we could possibly see and we would like to thank everyone that works at the zoo for making our day memorable 👍

Add on and add ons to costs, Tesco vouchers DO NOT cover costs seems half the zoo is being upgraded. I'd leave it for 6 months really not worth the expenditure or the effort.
An expensive day out.

Well trained professionals who cared about the well being of the animals in the zoo. Friendly service from the begining to the end. Animals kept clean and enclosure aswell. Very happy family day.

I love Blackpool zoo, the staff are friendly and helpful, the park is well kept and the animals look well too.

The café is the only let down, I'm not a fan of burgers.

What a wonderful day out !!! This was our first visit here so we did not know what to expect. The animals look so well looked after. It is so easy to navigate your way around and viewing the animals is excellent the way it is set out. It is very child friendly and we found so much to do. All the staff we had contact with were extremely friendly and polite. There were plenty of hand wash stations and bins which made life easier. We could not fault it at all, it was an excellent day out and well worth the money THANK YOU 😊

What a wonderful day out with my two sons, seeing the looks on their faces was well worth the money we had an amazing time. All the animals we saw including the Dinosaur section turned a rainy day into an inspired experience, eventhough we got soaked we all loved every second. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the gift shop at the end of day was delightful my boys would have spent a small fortune if I'd have let them. We did come away with some really brilliant mementos and memories that will last a lifetime.

Completely love the zoo its 5 stars for me however....... this review for the play barn next to the zoo which is the same company. I have been going to since its been opened for the last 6 weeks, its absolutely freezing in there , obviously not for the kids who are running round but for the parents is freezing so when you come here bring your coat or can the play barn please put your gas powered air heater on.

Terrible customer service!***
I bought 2 x parking tickets from the parking guy and paid £3 cash for both. Straight after I handed my money over I said sorry I only actually need one now and he wouldn’t give me my money back! He called his boss to ask and he said no! How mean and inflexible is that- I had literally just handed the money over for a paper ticket I no longer needed. There was no reason to say no to this request. I’m furious at the absurdity of what a jobseorth people can be for the sake of rules!

Spent the day here today- what a treat for my little kids- they absolutely love looking at the animals and the staff are fantastic with involving them where they can - thank you for a lovely day 😁

A fantastic day out for all. Clean and well maintained and the animals there are really well looked after. 3rd visit to the zoo over a few years and it’s just got better with every visit. My only feedback would be regarding the eating areas, would be nice to see a net put over the table area so you can sit out and eat without being attacked by dive bombing seagulls! But over all a fantastic day out and brings you close to some truly fascinating Animals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whilst on holiday for a week in Blackpool, we decided to spend the day at Blackpool Zoo. The zoo itself is very well set out, with areas of interest easy to find. The homes and enclosures for the animals were clean and well maintained and the animals looked well looked after. We saw a wide range of animals, which brought a smile to our faces, our favourites being the big cats, wolves, ant eaters and orangutans. A fun filled full day out, if one is in the area.
