Dont use this website, they are a scam!! They send broken items and they never reply back.

Do not respond to mails regarding complaints. So if you are lucky you'll get a order right otherwise bare with whatever you get

Items were well packaged and arrived on the specified date with no issues.

I ordered mostly cans, jars and frozen food - all with long dates left.

I ordered a bag of fresh chillies and found they were all very fresh and a nice big bag to last me a while.

I will definitely be using again.

First time order. Order arrived on time. No issue with the product and order. Definitely will order again.

Was a little concerned given some of the reviews, which I am pleased to say I did not experience. First class service - quick and well packaged goods. Will be a repeat customer for sure!

Just ordered for first and last time. On the checkout it said free delivery but on the invoice sent by e-mail they’ve charged me £11.99 for delivery! A two day delivery!
It’s getting put in a van and driven a couple of hundred miles, not flown by drone for next hr delivery straight to the relevant cupboard. I’ve sent golf clubs in my own business, insured for thousands for less. This is two dry (hopefully) sealed ingredients weighing probably less than 1 kg in total.
There better be some gold nuggets in the package!
If the delivery charge had been outlined I would not have ordered, I’d just have driven an hour or so to another supplier. Daylight robbery.

I would give them a zero if I could. Appalling quality of fresh goods. I order a very expensive box of mangoes and literally all 12 of the fruits were rotten on the inside. Even the guavas and lemons that I ordered weren't good quality.

Worse still, they took zero responsibility for the terrible quality of their produce and flat out refused to issue a refund or send new items in exchange for the inedible things they sent me. I wish someone had warned me in advance. Terrible experience and I am certain that I will never purchase anything from them ever again - recommend everyone else do the same

After an initial great experience with BB, I ordered a large number of products again . The items included several frozen products . The items didn’t arrive the day after despatch as planned & on contacting BB I received a prompt phone call saying they would be re sent so that I get fresh products . But the following day the original box arrived and all the frozen products had completely defrosted making them unsafe for consumption or refreezjng . We had to hence thrown them away and I’ve tried to contact BB via emails and their online forms repeatedly with no response whatsoever. Why should decent honest customers be treated so shabbily ? Do they expect us to pay for food items which cannot be consumed . Pre Diwali I had to hurriedly buy alternatives for the weekend festivities . Very disappointed and will no longer recommend

The great products online was hoping to have online Indian shopping but….. delivery let the Bombay basket down and they even lied to the BB OWNER that we refused the delivery. However owner called me and he tried his best to deliver the products next day but no luck. Bombay basket is great online shopping website but the delivery company didn’t meat the expectation :(. Instead of food I will get the refund which promised by the BB OWNER. Anyways I will

Genuinely so happy I came across this site. Having moved from India recently I came across Bombay Basket which had all the items I missed at home. Packing was fantastic, long dated items and the vegetables are so fresh. Thank you.

Rubbish. On two occasions, they have delayed my parcel. Food is perishable which they obviously have no sense about.

I have been trying to get a hold of them; no response at all. And they call themselves UKs no.1 ??? All nonsense. I have been requesting my refund back for late 2-3 days delivery and they have failed. I ll sue them.

Took my money and never sent my order, didn't call or email to tell me, didn't pick up the phone. Completely ruined my dinner party do not use this company

Living in the countryside and being miles away from a quality Indian supermarket often means that you miss out on some fantastic products. I found Bombay Basket on a Google search and placed my first order a few days ago. I am totally thrilled at the service I received and the freshness of the Ginger that I purchased. Way better than anything we can get locally and the prices are very reasonable.

I placed an order with Bombay Basket, a website specialising in Indian groceries, earlier this week (Tuesday) and was delighted to find a particular product that I had been looking for in the UK for quite some time which I couldn't find anywhere else as my mum loves it. I ordered 5 online and a few other products (which I might add were all really good value for money) which meant I had no issue with paying £6.99 for delivery. Within a day I received a phone call from the company asking me to confirm the delivery post code as a slight system glitch seemed to have changed my post code (at least they were clever enough to spot it quickly and check with me). I was happy to confirm my post code and ask that the item be delivered on Friday rather than Thursday as I was due to be at the office on Thursday and would be working from home on Friday to accept delivery. The lady I spoke with was really pleasant and friendly and confirmed Friday delivery.
I was most happy to receive a confirmation email from the delivery company (APC Overnight) on Thursday to confirm delivery on Friday and then to receive confirmation of a 2 hour delivery slot (which they delivered within).
The products were packaged with care with a clear note to mention it had fragile and perishable items in the package and even inside the box the items were carefully wrapped to avoid damage in transit.
Definitely 5 stars from me and will definitely be using again as the products are good quality AND they clearly use a reliable delivery company which means a lot to me as a customer.
