Great service, always pleasant and efficient at once!

I regularly use Bonvu for imports from abroad to Italy.
Up to now few problems, indeed when they arose they were quickly solved.
Very nice staff (special thanks to Regina).
The price has always been very affordable when compared to other operators.
Recommended !

Ich habe von Bonvu das erste mal den Service in Anspruch genommen und bin super zufrieden.
Habe einen V8 Motor mit Getriebe auf Palette beim Händler abholen lassen, da dieser nicht nach Deutschland liefert.
Sie sind hilfreich, kompetent, freundlich und Preiswert.
Nach vier Tagen war er da.

I have used Bonvu a few times now and everything worked out just fine every time. They are quick, reliable and professional. And what´s most important to me - their customer service is outstanding - always helpful and friendly. Strongly recommended!

It can hardly be said that the goods have been put together.
Goods are not properly packaged for a long freight period.
Very expensive goods even arrive broken and therefore basically unusable in France because they are in no way
was prepared for the long transport. (Additional outer packaging or similar).
Freight costs are ultimately considerably more expensive than if you have it shipped directly from the seller.

So Bonvu - if at all - only makes sense if you buy from dealers who do not otherwise send to Europe.
But then you should plan a substantial surcharge.

Today I unpacked the RAMMSCHUTZ from the last shipment. I thought because it looked well packaged, I'll store it for now. And you can hardly believe it: Even the RAMM PROTECTION is completely bent and has dents in the pipe. Incredible - a dented and completely bent BUMPER GUARD

Dishonest company and they keep sending very rude emails to ask me to remove my review on them! Stop harassing me! Blocked and banned them!

Despite their explanation, the company is bad as they erased my transaction information and hence I almost couldn’t provide evidence to sustain my dispute via Paypal. Bad bad experience and avoid at all costs!)

I placed a purchase order and they didn’t order the items I want. When I asked for a refund, they refused to give me full amount saying I have to pay for their charges for using paypal to collect money from customers. That was insane!

Luckily I have used paypal which has been able to help me in getting full refund. Bonvu obviously not happy and blocked my account so that I am unable to access my account again to see the details which would affect my claim. Luckily I have saved all the screenshots to show PayPal.

All in all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have bad business practices. They will delete your account if they are unhappy, so you will loss all information needed to lodge your claim!

I have already reported to Paypal.

Comment added on 12/1/2021 in light of the “feedback” from Bonvu after almost 1 year since my bad purchase experience with them!

Apparently they are lying. Paypal said they did not charge them the so-called service fee. Otherwise Paypal wouldn’t be and accepted my dispute and gave me a full refund.

So, use Paypal but DO NOT USE BONVU’s service!! Beware!

After I posted my original review on Trustpilot, Bonvu Customer Service reached out to me to explain why the original shipping estimation/costs (their billable package dimensions) were so different from the package dimensions stated by Ikea on their website.

They offered to repackage my item into a smaller parcel/box, which significantly reduced the dimensional shipping weight/costs to something MUCH more reasonable (4lbs billable weight vs. 20lbs originally quoted).

Because of the responsive customer service (thank you Regina), and their finding a solution for my issue, I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

I’m still hesitant to use their service, due to the original “bill shock”, but my experience ended up at 4* due to the responsive customer service, and their repackaging my item (to make the shipping costs more reasonable) and getting it sent safely and surely to me overseas.

I’d recommend using their US Shopping service (very reliable, good customer service and status updates), but would recommend sending the item to another US re-mailing Company/Service, who charge using “actual” vs “dimensional” shipping weight, if shipping to overseas (ie outside USA).

Ordered an item using Bonvu US shopping service (for which I paid service fee).

When I went to ship item to my home country, Bonvu over-calculated the weight and dimensions of my parcel by over 1000% (and charged me the excessive shipping costs).

Bonvu *calculated* my parcel to be 20lb billable weight (17”x13”x12” / 20lbs dimensional weight and 4lbs actual) whereas the package in *reality* was only 2lb billable weight (12”x6”x2” / 2lbs dimensional weight and 1lbs actual).

Shipping costs are therefore inflated by 10X dimensional weight and 20X actual.

They charge you service fee, and then make dishonest profit by overestimating your package weight and dimension by 1000%.

Either dishonest or poor service.

I'm using Bonvu for several years now and received lots of parcels from the U.S. The mail contact is flawless and all responses are within some hours or the next day. Only two times I had some trouble since the shipping bill was inside the parcel and our customs didn't find the total price. One packet made a travel around three citys (assuming USPS had caused that). But overall I can highly recommend them.

I have been using Bonvu.com now for nearly a year and the services was always reliable and the e-mail contact (with Regina) was pleasant. It is a very good service if you have occasional purchases in the US which you would like to forward to your home address abroad. You do not have to pay a sign up fee or a monthly or yearly rate like with some other providers. You just pay a rate of US$ 9 per item received and shipped. This is alright if you only have an occasional purchase but if you have more frequent purchases the handling fee of every single item sums up to quite a considerable amount.. Unfortunately Bonvu.com does not offer a premium service for clients with more frequent purchases at discount rates. Moreover it seems to me that other services are cheaper in the shipping rates (checked with shipping calculator but not tested).
Therefore I will now test another service. There are many other services around: bongous.com, shipito.com, myus.com, nybox.com, comgateway.com, viabox.com, oneusaaddress.com, myamericanshopper.com, usglobalmail.com, hopshopgo.com, mailforwarding.biz.
