Brockway Carpets Avis 7

Failed to deliver carpets on time and were dismissive and uninterested when challenged about this. Resulted in my customer going elsewhere, which cost me money in losing a job and also damage to reputation of my business. Avoid at all costs, much better value carpets available and with better customer service.

Had a negative interaction with one of their staff. Wouldn’t proceed with them myself.

I have had Brockway's Herdwick carpet fitted throughout the house four year's ago. It has done well over the flat services but on the stairs it has worn down to the white surface beneath. This is very disappointing as I'm the single occupant of the house.

Avoid this company at all cost. I ordered carpets for the stairs, hall and lounge. The carpet supplied for the former is fine, sadly the carpet in the lounge is entirely different in shade and particularly texture.The carpet came in two different widths. Brockway just keep passing me back to the shop that supplied and fitted it despite it was they that manufactured it. Brockway manufacture carpets for many independent carpet retailers. I have requested that they send their own expert to see the problem for themselves but without success. I have taken advice from Trading Standards.

Tried to place an order for carpet samples on their website and it wasn’t working. I contacted them on two occasions and was ignored on both. Very poor customer service and therefore not surprised there review on here are so low.

Back in May we bought Brockway dimensions plain cameo10 ,50oz wool carpet. Initially we’re we’re extremely pleased…the available shades are excellent, but by now we’re exasperated with it. It is still shedding badly. Really badly. Everywhere someone sits soon looks a mess as it scuffs. The company says this is normal but we have not experienced this level of shedding in other wool carpets. Five months after fitting it’s still filling the vacuum cleaner. It looks lovely after a vacuum…. but not by the end of the day. Basically, it’s hard work. Every time we vacuum it, the bag fills, and we’re wondering how many ounces of wool have been lost in the vacuuming. Same when we use a hand-brush, Sadly, I could not recommend this expensive carpet. If it’s normal to shed like this as the company tells me, this carpet is more hard work than pleasure.
