So I did have a problem with BMCS due to some late payment fees but they have since given a good will gesture and I now only have to pay the actual balance owed. BMCS hasn't improved my credit score... Voir plus

Just wasn't a fit for me at all
Just wasn't a fit for me at all. Had a hard time canceling and just an all around unpleasant experience from start to finish. Waste of money for me.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, and we're sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience when cancelling your account.
We've had a look and can see that, after reading a help centre article suggested by our support tool, you marked your cancellation request as "solved" so your request was not seen by our Customer Support team and therefore not actioned before your subscription payment was submitted.
When you got back in touch, the Customer Support team was able to refund your subscription payment and close your account once the refund had completed.

Your BuildMyCreditScore debit card is specifically designed for small everyday purchases such as coffee, snacks and other incidentals, as well as regular payments like Netflix and Spotify. We will then collect the payment from your linked account via Direct Debit a couple of days later.
Making these small purchases using BuildMyCreditScore allows us to report your spend to Credit Reference Agencies and help improve your credit score, without the risk of needing to use a high interest credit card.
We've had a look and can see that, since signing up to BuildMyCreditScore in January 2024, your credit score has increased by a whopping 159 points which is great to see!

FRAUD
Used this Service to help build my credit score however, all of a sudden a week of using at had fraudulent payments taken from my account totalling £50 under shady names. I did NOT approve these payments and they somehow were setup as direct debit payments. Contacted my bank and had to freeze my card. DO NOT USE this company's services they are not worth the damage.

We've had a look with our Customer Support team and it seems like this issue may have been due to a misunderstanding over how our product works. We collect individual payments via Direct Debit but we do not set up any recurring Direct Debits for you.
We can see that our Customer Support team responded to your message within a few hours on November 27th to request some additional information from you but didn't receive a response.
