BK apparently does not care about…

BK apparently does not care about customer complaints. On April 8th, I placed a take out order inside the Burger King in Concord, NC (Store #5803). It was no more busier than usual and I observed customers who ordered after me, receive their order, I waited 45 minutes because my wife really wanted BK but enough was enough and I requested a refund. The manager came from out back, seeming more happy to give me my money back than to see why it took that long. I went home and went to the website on the receipt and left a complaint, requesting contact. No response from them. I wanted 5 days then went to their website address and complained there. No response. I then went to their Facebook page and complained on the Message link. Still ignored so I am calling it quits to patronizing Burger King!

If I could give a negative rating, I would. First, it’s important to note that we do not eat pork or beef. Today, April 30, 2026, we ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches and eight jalapeño cheddar bites via DoorDash. After the second bite of the jalapeño bite, something felt off. We opened one up and found meat inside—likely pork.

We immediately called the restaurant, and the store manager, without any apology, said the jalapeño cheddar bites were discontinued and they had replaced them with bacon bites. There was no note on the packaging, no communication at all. Instead, she rudely claimed she informed the Dasher, but since the Dasher only spoke Spanish, they sent it anyway.

We’re honestly still in shock.

Deceptive -- app designed to bait and switch

Already pissed off that Burger King continues to offer PayPal as a payment option, but it never works, but making an offer that shows as valid in its app's shopping cart only to have it withdrawn before payment is totally unacceptable! Not returning soon.

I love burger king sandwichs But I've notice that depending on location like palm springs the haitian working at the facilities do not PUT the ingredients like tomatoes,pickles etc and when you ask for condiments its like with a face so its like Burger king doesn't supply them with enough But when I walk in to the congress ave in FL 33461 and didn't have a problem giving their Haitian customers and also speaking and laughing when they needed something to me is Disrespectful want to learn their language to respond back also when you ask for more tomatoes and pickles they give the bottom and the skimmish thin tomatoes and pickles not GOOD please fix this TY

Their food is awful

Their food is awful, not even edible ...I drove through abd got a chicken sandwich...horrible...4 bites, threw it out the window. Most people already know their food sucks worse everyday year but their mobile ap is ridiculous! Completely useless...gives me order total, doesnt show anything about how im being charged. I have no idea what method was charged because the lazy incompetent people barely put an ap together that works! It doesnt even give u order #...I had to just tell employee, just ordered here isms name....how is that dump still in business...just uninstalled their ap! Never using that plays again...how do you screw up a sandwich??!!!

App deals are the only reason I still go

Without the Burger King app deals I would probably visit maybe twice a year out of pure nostalgia. With the app deals I go maybe twice a month because the offers are genuinely aggressive and hard to pass up. Two Whoppers for five dollars is not something I can logically say no to. The food itself is fine, solidly in the middle of the fast food pack, and the service at my location is average at best. Three stars that would drop to two without the app promos propping up the whole experience.

When I complained about having to wait…

When I complained about having to wait 20 mins for a single burger the mgr Tynesha Spence, refused to make my burger, would not refund my money, lied about how to cancel the order and finally CALLED THE POLICE because I refused to leave without the food I HAD PAID FOR!

It was my mistake to ONCE again patronize this restaurant that is ALWAYS VERY SLOW!!

So instead of just making my burger, or refunding my money, she reveals how BK mgrs. treat their customers!

Granted she was under staffed but antagonism towards customers
is misdirected.

On November 25

On November 25, 2025, I had placed an order from Burger King to be delivered to my address. It was marked delivered to my address, however, I never received it. The order was sent to a wrong address. I contacted Burger King informing them what happened and they told me to contact Doordash. I had been given the runaround for nearly two hours before I was finally told that I would be refunded. I contacted Burger King's support the following day because I was not confident that I would receive my refund. Today (11/28/25), I saw that I had received an email letting me know that I had been "refunded", however, when checking the amount on the card balance, I discovered that it was significantly less than what it should have been. I also noticed that had been charged again for the amount of $87.38 (on Thanksgiving day) which means that not only did I not get my refund, but I was actually charged twice for an order that I had never received. I want the full amount of $174.66 reimbursed to my account immediately.

Employee recognition

Wrote to Burger King corporate about a employee who has been with them for over 30 years. Nowadays 30 years working straight is a extremely rare case,let alo n e in a fast food restaurant. BUY ALL they could do was to give me run around about which restaurant, and that Puerto Rico is not U.S. and it does concern them. I could on and on about what's wrong with this but trying to get recognition fir a thirty year employee should not be hard and they should be jumping at that chance for some good p.r not trying to to sweep it under the table!!!

Raw meat $9.00

On 19-Aug.-2025 I bought a Whopper at the Burger King in the Kahului airport. I took it to the gate and started to eat it while waiting for my plane, I bit into it and found it was only cooked about 1" in from the edge. I had no time to take it back and ended up throwing it, E-coli anyone?

This review is for the location 901 S Military Hwy in Chesapeake Va. This place is not safe to eat. They go outside and smoke weed, this establishment needs to be shut down, seriously. I would hate for someone to get sick eating here.

Burger king on midlothian and mahoning ave. Youngstown,oh. The employees at drive thru smelled bad from marijuana..third time at this location...they get confused and cars back up bad and orders are not correct...i didnt realize its acceptable for burger king employees to be on drugs while working...sad times...

Abusive service, Sault Ste Marie, MI

Incredibly abusive service at the Sault Ste Marie location (Store # 11717, located at 4441 I-75 Business Spur). $3.49 mistake on my order. Called in and spoke with a very surly person who copped an attitude with me from the beginning and then hung up on me after telling me to take it to corporate. I drove back to the store calling over and over again and they refused to pick up, claiming when I got there that they were "too busy." (Please see the below photo of the dining room with five people in it-- that's her "too busy" to answer the phone. She was hiding from the customer she had antagonized and she knows that full well.)

Manager and her son, who called her "Mom,” were just as abusive, finally telling me to "Get the f*** out of her store," She refused to identify herself— none of these people were wearing name tags, which I understand is a REQUIREMENT for all franchises within Burger King. Frustrated, I sat on the front counter and demanded her name. All employees went to the back of the store, refusing to talk to me. She came back with her district manager on the phone and claimed he was telling me to "Get the f*** off his counter." She refused to let me speak to him or to give me his number. Meanwhile, her son screamed at me "Are you pulling out that pocket knife and going to stab me?!" This was interspersed with calling me a "F***ing loser" and telling me to "Get the f*** out of his store before he beats the sh** out of me." I want it on record that the District Manager, whose name is apparently "Chris Kowalski" (I saw it on her phone screen.), could clearly hear these statements, as could the five customers in the lobby. It is also recorded on their security footage. (At NO point was my body language in any way threatening, nor did I reach for the pocket knife that remained securely clipped in my pocket through the entire ordeal. Probably the single stupidest part of this entire ridiculous situation was a seventeen year old fast food worker screeching at me that I was a “loser” who was likely to get violent.)

I am filing a BBB complaint as well as have made a complaint to corporate, on top of leaving negative reviews on social media and on Google Reviews. Corporate has no customer service phone number, choosing to hide from the customer (wonder where the manager got this from) behind a chat AI. When I received an email from a customer service rep and replied with the threats and abuse that had been leveled AT me by these people, zendesk closed my ticket "Because it detected profanity."

You don't say? My quote from the offensive teen punk threatening me with bodily harm and dropping F-bombs like commas had profanity in it? How about you discipline your employees so that such things don't happen again and don't need to be caught by your filter?

Not likely to return to a Burger King EVER at this rate, and definitely not until this manager and every single employee working there on 6/20/2025 at 7pm is fired.

I just wrote a whole review about The New general manager at the burger King in tamarac about how she has terrible customer service skills and a very bad attitude with The customer's, unlike The very nice lady before her. They either need to retrain these people or just hire better workers.
