Bushwise has grown to be my home, my family and I have without a dought learnt so much and gained so much experience that I will take with me for the rest of my life.

Starting the course seemed Scary at first, and I felt like the six months on campus would feel like forever, but now, closer to the end, it felt like yesterday that I walked through the doors, clueless about the bush. Its also been everything but scary. Yes the assignments seem like alot sometimes, and halfway through the course you are going to feel so tired of hearing the same things,( community spider nests ) . But It has been the best six months of my life and I would do it all over again if I could. I've proven to myself time after time that I'm capable of so much more than I thought. I've met so many people with the same love for nature and friendships that will last a life time

I wil always recommend Bushwise if anyone is thinking of becoming a researcher, a conservationist, a field guide, or just loves the Bush.
Saying all this, I will just add that this course is alot of hard work and dedication. It will test you and is not for people that just want to go out and have fun, and not work or study at all. But the amazing thing is that all that hard work pays off every time. And If you love the Bush and bring you're all every single day, it's not even going to feel like hard work at all.

The amount of things the trainers have learnt me in just six months, is crazy. They have every student at heart, and are people you wil have in you're life forever. Every trainer wil have their own way of teaching/guiding, and one of them wil always for work for you. They are not just trainers and at the end of the course you wil call them part of you're family.

If anyone is Struggling to find a good place to study the bush, or stuck between training providers , I wil say Choose Bushwise, and I'll say it over and over again. It will meet all you're expectations and more, and you wil not want to leave the campus at the end. I will alway thank Bushwise for the guide they've made me today, and for the experience I will take with me forever.

Bushwise is an incredible experience. You will learn so much about the environment, the world of guiding and conservation, and also yourself. I could not be more thankful to the trainers and staff at Bushwise. The course is tough, it's a lot of hard work, early mornings, and long hours, but I would not trade it for anything. The experience, knowledge, and certifications you obtain after those long hours are worth it. Halfway through the second semester, I broke an ankle and I feared I wouldn't make it through the course, but the trainers and staff were unbelievably accommodating and helpful. I have trainers and fellow students that will certainly be lifetime friends.

Ex-Trainer Nico, the first week hat we were here, I had my first game drive and it was the best and that inspired me to do my best so that I could give my mom, dad and sister their first game drive as well.

Where to begin? At the start ot the 6 Months I was a city boy with little Knowledge and turned into this man
that can guide people about the wild. I ve learned so much, from the smallest ot insects all the way to how the weather works. I enjoyed the bush walks alot while
doing trails and track and sign. The ARH was very thrilling. The campas life , meeting
new people making memories and random trips to town is what Kept us going. I had training equipment to stay fit and a swimming pool for the hot days. For new students, study. You have to study with the time you have and make sure you workobooka are up to date. Always have enough snacks and rest when you can. I learned that alot of food and sleep helps me get through the months.

This has not only been a life changing experience, but also enabled me to get a foot in the door in this industry. There is a reason why Bushwise are industry leading training providers. Two of the trainers have participated and won their respective categories for Safari guide of the year. They also partner with top-rated external service provider to ensure that all their training standards go above and beyond the stipulated NQF 2 level, thus again ensuring that their alumni excell in the industry. Bushwise is a great course to attend, if you have a love for the African bush you'll love this course! It's not for the light hearted though and it's important to fully prepare yourself before getting into action. The trainers and other staff at Bushwise are extremely helpful and they take our motto "students at heart" very seriously, it's been amazing and the support is indescribable. Thank you Bushwise!

This is the most fun and Challenging education i have ever come across and this is really only for hard workers who are ready to give it their all. This course changed my life.

Doing Bushwise was the best decision I could’ve made. Coming from Canada I’ve always had a fascination with the African bush and wildlife so by doing Bushwise it allowed me to follow my dreams and pursue my passions. All the staff and trainers are very friendly and professional. Student life is great as we get plenty of time to relax and spend time with each other in between learning. Every student gets a fair chance to learn and participate in all the activities. Coming from overseas I feel very at home here and everyone is very supportive and welcoming.

It was an amazing experience

It was an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

From the day I arrived the reception I received from the trainers was amazing. Me and my parents felt welcomed. All the trainers are very respectful and professional. Throughout the course I have been enjoying the activities although our group was big it was at times difficult to get the full experience. The facilities at the SAWC are not completely up to standard. What is written on the website about the campus versus reality are two different things. I hope they work on that. I would’ve liked the wifi to be available at the student tents. In terms of food they were some days that were good and other days not so good. Overall I have enjoyed the experience. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I will forever cherish.

My experience was great mainly because l had great trainers who were amazing and talented.

Spending time with my 60-day group, seeing everyone sharing the same love of the bush I have. And being exposed to different opportunities to test my knowledge about what I've learned being out here.

My experience at Bushwise was overall great! Bushwise makes use of world class Trainers ,the facilities on the other hand can use some upgrades e.g. the bathrooms and living rooms. Overall I would recommend future students to join Bushwise!
