Horrible place
Horrible place. Deceptive practices and hidden prices. Very rushed and u professional pictures with no editing available. Save your money and get your child's senior pictures elsewhere!
Save your money
I wanted a nice experience for my son who struggles with school. I thought I would opt for the larger sitting fee and get some nice pictures. First off the "photographer's" seemed to have preferences on who they interacted with more. We were skipped while waiting for our turn at the next station. Then told not to touch the shirts they had for the "formal" picture. The shirts by the way were filthy. We then were rushed through all along while others seemed to get a lot more time. Finally got the pictures to preview and they are blurry. Awful. And really really over priced. I'm sending them back. I am just sorry I paid a 70.00 sitting fee for crap pictures. Save your money, take your own pictures with your cell phone. They will look much better.

2 hr "experince" and we are going on 4 hours of chaos and waiting in lines. Now i read the reviews and catch the deceptive business practices ... can hardly wait to checkout. Knew i had a bad feeling qbout this place and seems i was absolutely justified. Nice people but must be low bid for schools and very unprepared and ill equipped for the volume of people and coordination required.

Was upsold to digital package we weren't going to purchase and were told we would get the session digitally. Surprised to find we only got five photos of their choosing for each scene. When I complained I was told I had to know exactly which photo I wanted to swap out another one for. This is a bait and switch and they also make you do a review before you leave to try and boost their reviews before you realize you have been duped. This was a costly basic senior session. We are doing another better one in a month. So very disappointing.

Hard to believe schools use this company, but schools do usually go with the lowest bidder and after seeing their work it shows. I have yo stay my son did have one decent picture for the year book, he was a lucky one. The cap and goen session was a joke and the ones from graduation; getting his diploma, just say the pictures from my phone taken from the stands came out better. His senior pictures are the only pictures his school experience i could bring myself to pay for. The rest are always horrendous and way overpriced.

this company is unbearable, they want our money, there is no way to negotiate with them, it is absurd what they charge for a photo, the schools shame me into signing a contract with this company, they have the courage to charge $40 for a photo, parents please hire a private photographer.
SON GRADUATE TOMORROW
My son GRADUATE on tomorrow and I have no pictures to put up because of Cady. I said to myself last October that I need to start early taking my son pictures so everything will go smoothly. NOT!! Nightmare! I have been wondering where the rest of my son pictures are as they are paid for. I calls last month to the studio, nothing. Phone rings and you leave a message. Did several of those. I called customer service about an email I just received just to be told they have been trying to contact me to approve two pictures. So according to them they have been trying to reach me since February 2024. It is now May. That is a lie! According to them they called and sent emails. LIES! I got no calls and received one email in which I responded back to them on the 10 of May. Still no pictures. I called several times and left messages. NOTHING! No call back, phone call, NOTHING! I call again today. NOTHING has been done. The office closed till Saturday per customer service. I ask for a manager. Per Rep I can't speak to no one unless she follows proper protocol. I already went through that step. Where are my pictures!! MY SON GRADUATE TOMORROW!! I need my pictures for his gathering. I have NO pictures. Go to website, pictures got copyright on them even though they are paid for. No pictures of his photo shoot. I AM PISSED!!! I WILL NEVER EVER recommend this company. This is embarrassing, terrible, and just very poor service. Now what am I to do as he has no pictures the day of his graduation celebration. WOW... I AM SO DISSAPOINTED. Still no call as of now 5:38pm and was told they gonna put urgent. So sad....
In September 2023
In September 2023, my special needs daughter, who attends Collins Hills School, received marketing materials from Cady for senior pictures. The initially attractive pricing led us to move forward with the photo session. We made significant investments in outfits and makeup for this special day. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, we faced an unorganized and unprofessional environment. The dressing rooms were particularly unsafe, featuring unmounted mirrors that fell and caused my daughter pain and discomfort. Despite reporting this incident to the photographer and a sales agent, no official report was documented.
I have reached out to several individuals involved and received inconsistent responses. Moreover, the pricing strategies felt deceptive, akin to bait-and-switch tactics, which are illegal. I have filed a complaint with the State of Georgia and the Gwinnett Board of Education and am currently consulting with my attorney.
I urge caution when considering doing business with this company, as their practices seem fraudulent.
I must express my disappointment
I must express my disappointment with this establishment due to its lack of professionalism. The packages are not explained in detail, leading to unexpected surprises. For instance, after paying $70 to book the session and $250 for the digital photos, I discovered that the cap and gown photos, which are arguably the most crucial part of the session, incur an additional charge of $250.
This information was only disclosed on the day of the photo shoot, when I was informed that the photos would first be sent to the school for the yearbook before being made available to me. However, they failed to mention the extra cost associated with this process.
Furthermore, the pricing is excessive, and the sessions are disorganized and frequently run behind schedule. This experience has been far from satisfactory. I believe potential customers should be aware of these issues before deciding to engage with this business.
The most frustrating aspect, unfortunately, is the lack of alternative options. This monopolistic situation leaves customers with no choice but to accept these unsatisfactory services and conditions. It’s indeed a significant concern that needs addressing.

This company is an absolute scam and should be dropped by the schools that force us to use them for senior pictures. Only want the money...They charged too much for everything. We paid the session fee but did not include pictures that are important. They have advertisement (discounted prices) on their website but do not show on the cart or check out. There was nobody to talk to, only uses chat and never responds to an email. Today I thought they are open until 7 pm but of course only until 5 pm. Horrible service!!!
Terrible quality on premiere retouching…
I updated from 1 to 3 stars. Cady has worked with me to retouch the photos again and is going to replace all of the unusable prints! It's been an ordeal but I think we will finally be getting photos we can use!

Terrible quality on premiere retouching prints. The prints received looked like they had been retouched by a 5 year old. My child looked non-human and the teeth were ultra-white (think Ross in Friends where his teeth glowed in the dark!) Don't waste your money. I spent over $500 and received no usable Senior print photo.
Deceptive pricing
This company is an absolute scam and should be dropped by the schools that force us to use them for senior pictures. I spent a significant amount of money on digital downloads of the pictures to find out in the Terms and Conditions that the cap and gown pictures aren't included in that price.
They are not clear in their pricing at all.

Scam artists!! They sent a horrible portfolio for my daughter’s senior pictures. We returned it and they still charged my card $236. Tried calling customer service…no help at all!!!! Will

These people are SCAMS AND CROOKS
These people are SCAMS AND CROOKS! Let me just warn you that the total cost to get your pictures is going to be around $1300! But the worst part is, they allowed my 17 year old daughter to create a payment arrangement in my name, without me present and let someone else sign for it!!! I was not present and had no knowledge that this account had been set up in my name until my daughter could not keep up with the payments and I was contacted by a creditor for past due payment!!! I provided evidence to them that I had not authorized the charge and they would not rectify the issue. They had some little boy named Stephon handle my call who clearly does not understand how life works. He claimed that since I had said her father was going to pay for the pictures that I "authorized" him to pay for them, and therefore it was okay for her to make the account in my name (head scrather right...). I do plan to file a lawsuit. I don't play about my credit!!! My pictures were taken at the Johns Creek location FYI.
This "business" should not be allowed to operate
I knew from the previous reviews this was a shady company but our school left us no choice for senior portraits...you HAD to get them through CADY for the yearbook. The sent a portfolio, I didn't want it of course and we sent it back MONTHS before the deadline. Lo and behold they had the audacity to charge me today. I'm getting it worked out with the bank but will be filing complaints everywhere I can because businesses should absolutely not be able to operate in the US like this and schools should absolutely not have contracts with them. I already know I'm not the only frustrated parent.
You have to return staff you never ordered
You have to return staff you have never ordered. They have monopoly in school and send you items that were not part of your order. You have to make trip to USPS, stay in line or you will be charged $150-200 for items you never wanted and never asked in first place
Bad service and terrible experience
We couldn't travel 30 miles to get to the studio so we booked a "session" to be done at school thinking it would be a similar experience. Wrong. Leading up to the special day we received numerous emails encouraging us that this day was all about my daughter, she would have time to have a few changes of clothes, pick our favorite things (musical instrument, sports item), take pictures with someone else, and even bring a pet. When we arrived at school, the school did not allow me (parent) to go back so my daughter was left to take photos on her own. It was a madhouse back there with crowds of students scrambling to take their yearbook photos. My daughter felt rushed through, could not insist on changing her outfit as she had wanted to because it was so rushed. I wish Cady had told us this "session" would be nothing more than the usual school photos. Bad pictures too. In the full body shot they cut off her shoes - very unprofessional. Also, when I tried to contact them they took forever to get back to me and when I finally did get someone, they promised to issue me a credit. I had to call and leave multiple voicemails and finally call from a phone I had never used in order to get someone to follow through with their promise of a credit. Bad service.
The worst experience!!
The worst experience!!! They are too expensive, bad customer service, poor communication. I wanted to finance, but they took the money directly from the bank account (without financing) regardless of whether they ruin your Christmas by leaving you without money. I made it clear that I want to pay for the pictures, but I wanted to do financing. Jessica, the manager, said she would give me a call to solve this issue, and she never did. I went to the studio multiple times after the problem ocurred, and nobody helped me. They said they would give me "extra pictures" to "compensate me", but that's not what I asked for. I wanted to do financing to be able to afford $1600 for the pictures, and the didn't do anything to make the financing possible. Look for other photographers who are more professional and give you a better price.

Not going to go on a full-on rant. But I will say their website is awful, and the angles and poses they use for senior pictures, also awful.
Cady Studios is a less then professional business. I wish my daughters school would use a better studio.
The amount the charge for each of their products. 100% NOT worth it.
Thank you for trying any way, Cady Studios. But you need to make your website better and get better training on angles and poses.
