Ordered cake for hubbys birthday, Jack Daniel’s with 3 miniature botttles and edible ice cubes. When it arrived no miniature bottles no ice cubes no banner….got in touch to be told yes they missed off the banner and ice cubes, but don’t supply alcohol. Their website clearly says in description that 3 miniature bottles included. That apparently was my fault for not ringing and checking. For ice cubes and banner 15% off. The cake is such a dissapointment looks plain and boring. Never go there again

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, which makes this even more disappointing.

I ordered cupcakes for my children’s birthday and specifically selected a mix, including eggless/dairy-free options for children with allergies. When the order arrived, there was absolutely no indication of which cakes were which. That made them completely unusable - I couldn’t risk serving anything to children with allergies without clear labelling, defeating the entire purpose of the order I had carefully placed (and paid extra attention to).

When I raised this, I was met with a dismissive response claiming they “don’t offer dairy-free cakes.” This is simply untrue - their own website clearly shows these options in the dropdown menu. I pointed this out… and was then completely ignored. No follow-up. No apology. No accountability.

What’s worse, instead of addressing the issue, they’ve continued sending me marketing emails trying to sell me more products, as if nothing happened.

This isn’t just poor customer service - it’s careless, misleading, and potentially dangerous given the allergy implications.

Loyal customers clearly count for nothing at Caker Street.

I was apprehensive about ordering from Caker Street as the reviews were somewhat mixed. However, the company assured me that they were making the cake in-house and using their own delivery service, and everything went smoothly. They were punctual in their delivery and they did an outstanding job with the cake. I presented them with a design that I made with the help of AI, and they replicated it exactly. I was super impressed!

I am so sorry to write this negative review , but something has changed in the ingredients from this company , I made over 30 orders in the past 10 years and had no issue with the taste , but the last few orders all are very bad quality and expensive , the materials taste different than before and the quality is below zero now , the cake tasted so sweet even sweeter , the chocolate butter cream and the ingredients tasted very cheap over all you pay now over £100 for a Cake and even the taste is absolutely below zero , either the ingredients or the management or the chief is different but I won’t order again never from them that’s it , I am done with them . Cake arrived damaged on 5th March, the box had been dropped by the courier.
Partial refund finally agreed with Caker Street on 9th March.
After chasing this many times, my last reply from Caker Street was on 19th March, stating my refund was “in a queue.”
All further emails I have sent since then have been completely ignored, and no refund has been sent.
I have ordered many cakes from this company over the years without any issues.
As a result of this experience I will not be using them again.

I had a Hey Duggee birthday cake delivered 3 days after the due delivery date. Despite contacting Cake street on 3 different methods of contact, to chase the delivery. I only got a message on the 3rd day saying delivery was due that day. By then the party had been and gone. I returned the cake as specified on their returns and contacted them of the return but haven't received a single word of apology, acknowldgement nor refund. It is the first time in three purchases with Cake street that i have been let down. A real shame.

Very disappointed with my order from Caker Street. I bought cupcakes at £5.00 each and, for the price, they were very small. The Call of Duty toppers were poor quality, with faded and blurred images simply stuck onto cocktail sticks. These were meant for a party tomorrow, but they do not look suitable at all.

I’m sure they may taste nice, but I could have bought cupcakes from a local supermarket and printed my own images for a much lower cost. I was also told I would receive an extra cupcake with my order, but this was not included. Overall, very poor value for money and disappointing quality.

I am sorry to have to write this review to reflect poor customer service and a lack of quality assurance. In future I would avoid Cakerstreet.
My experience was - on purchase no email to confirm the order, a lengthy WhatsApp process to confirm my order, on opening my cake I found that “Happy Birthday” was miss-spelt on the cake, the cake itself was not as described and full of cream to fill it out.
The company offered no refund or apology for their miss-spelling, only quoting their refund policy (where the onus is on the purchaser to send the cake back within 12hrs of delivery).
Avoid.

I ordered a Black Forest Cake for my husband's birthday. The cake was no where near to pictures and description on the website. The icing wasn't fresh and the quality was poor. The cake didn't look appealing as the decorations were off the cake apart from chocolate sprinkles. No one even wanted to eat any of the cake. had to bin all of it.

I was very happy when I received my daughter birthday cake it looked exactly like the image I found online and tasted soo delicious will definitely be purchasing more cakes in the future

2nd time ordering. Fast delivery and the cake was perfect will continue to buy here.

Avoid this company. I ordered two cakes this year paying a hefty price. Both cakes arrived completely damaged. One of the two cakes I ordered last year as also damaged when it came.

This is an E-commerce company and they place orders with random bakeries. Weirdly my cakes went through Heathrow customs clearance etc.

They ask to send the damaged cake back to them arranging the courier service ourself. They can’t send a replacement in time for the occasions.

They promised a refund and just disappeared. No response to emails and no refund.

Bottom line is I lost the 250 pounds paid to these scums and the spent time finding replacement cakes from local stores.

Terrible product, even worse “customer service”. £110 for a cake that didn’t at all look like the image online (different decoration and colours) and also arrived smashed up and badly damaged. I was unable to get hold of anyone at Caker Street (by phone or by email) for ages to even discuss and I had a very upset child who I needed to source another cake for at very short notice. Eventually got hold of customer service via WhatsApp and they reluctantly agreed to to a 25% refund. Over two months later, this has not materialised and I have had no communication from Caker Street. Avoid!!

Very easy ordering experience, hoping that the cake itself turns out to be as good as it looks in the picture! Have ordered for delivery two days before the occasion, to give some room for manoeuvre.

Excellent product and excellent service. Incredibly helpful, prompt and great quality. Will keep using and very happy with both how helpful the staff are and available.

I ordered a cake personalised for my father in law’s 90th birthday party and it arrived smashed - no response from company and over £100 wasted- avoid

I have just recently had brain surgery and didn’t need the stress this company has given me. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and it didn’t arrive on time, as promised. To date I have had no response to any of my emails and no sign of any refund. Have ordered many times before and they’ve truly let me down. No customer service at all

Dreadful, we ordered a lovely cake that was advertised on the website, it was for an 80th Birthday.
It arrived 3 days before the special day .
On the day of the party we opened the box to apply candles and the cake was squashed, damaged and ruined, the cake cost us £150
