As of the end of 2023, Candid ceased all direct-to-consumer clear aligner products and services, and are no longer associated with this profile. Candid announced this change via news publications, on its website, and in digital communications to its customers. In the two years following the announcement, Candid assisted customers who had purchased aligner kits in completing their treatments, obtaining refunds, and beginning retention. The final day to purchase retainers as a direct-to-consumer customer was March 8th, 2024. Candid no longer provides aligners, retainers, treatment accessories, dental records, or refunds to direct-to-consumer customers. Those seeking clear aligners or retainers manufactured by Candid should work with a dental provider who uses their CandidPro product.

Do not buy Candid

I was told that they could get my teeth where I wanted within 5 and 1/2 months. After about 1 month of having the aligners, anytime I asked for help I got a different answer on how I supposed to wear them or use them in general. I started March of 2020 and it's now September of 2021, which is 18 months, and my one crooked tooth that I wanted fixed is barely moved and they want to do another 5 months of treatment. After speaking to a supervisor 2 weeks ago, she said that she was going to correct the situation and get me a resolution and call me back. Can't get a hold of the supervisor or anybody that can help, they just keep giving you the runaround until you accept what they say and when asking for a refund they give you the story about it's a lot more work than I understand that I have to get a lot of documentation from a dentist of other than them to be able to provide any type of refund so I just needed to follow the treatment. Each time I speak to someone, they tell me that I'm slipped through the cracks and they'll get me fixed, and it doesn't happen.
Last summer I had an extreme teeth pain and when I called in, they said go to your dentist nothing we can do. Go to my dentist, he says everything is fine other than the movement of my teeth is causing my pain and maybe they should make an adjustment. They said that he's not an orthodontist, maybe they just hold me in the current aligner longer.
They have not solved any problem and have actually made it so I can't actually close my mouth because my lower teeth smash into my top teeth. I would rather go back to where I was with a couple crooked teeth versus unable to close my mouth or eat without pain. Please anybody who reads this review, go see an orthodontist or after seeing someone that has Invisalign, try them because candid is not what you want to do. They have tons of reviews on their website that are mostly positive and I can't even write a review because it's locked down to who they want to do a review.

Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely fantastic, I'm happy with my results so far, when I needed help they were there (I almost didn't call for help bc I thought I was having a dumb moment but it was such an easy fix that I didn't think of!)
The aligners aren't AS invisible, they go just above the gun line, but nobody can see them, so invisible where it matters! So easy to use! Even the biweekly scans have prompts showing and explaining how to do it.
I love it! I feel in control but not alone!

My only problem is they don't provide enough whitening foam. You have to buy them if you want more. Besides that, they are wonderful

These aligners are so simple! I love how easy this process is and bit have to worry about the problems you can have with regular braces.

Disappointing….

The customer service is sadly, quite poor. Customer service doesn't take the time to listen to client’s questions/concerns and this leads to poor communication. They try to guess/assume what the customer is asking and often begin to respond prior to the customer completing their sentence. Quite frustrating. After the exhausting process of trying to have a conversation with this group, they follow up with empty promises of “we’ll look into that” or “I’m going to have someone call you”, never happened. They just lied to get me off the phone. I’m quite disappointed. Often feel helpless to advocate for myself when questions/issues arise.

Great experience so far!

I’m on step six and so far everything seems to be right on track, I’m having very little discomfort, which is expected. My experience so far is stellar and I’m so glad I chose Candidco. The app is easy and it reminds me when it’s time to switch to the next step, which is absolutely my favorite feature because I forget everything!!

Disappearing gaps!

I am on 5/16 Aligners and l am loving my results so far! I have always hated the gaps in my teeth, they are disappearing now!!! Best decision I’ve made!! Don’t hesitate if you are wondering whether to get them or not, just do it!!

Amazing and simple

Amazing. So simple to get started!
I went into my local store and it took about 20 min. After a few weeks the Aligners showed up with everything I needed. When I got to my 3rd Aligners there was a noticeable difference. Now that I’m on 6th I’m getting more complements about my smile.

I was pretty nervous starting a treatment program where I wouldn’t be able to be seen in person but they have been absolutely fantastic through this whole process. I’m noticing the positive changes in my smile and they have given me clear instructions and answered every question I have had. Definitely recommend!

I'm enjoying my Candid aligner experience

At this point (I'm on level six out of twenty) my experience has been very good! The aligners work very well, are highly effective, and I can see/feel the progressive movement of my teeth to where they should eventually be. The feedback comes quickly when questions are asked or photos sent in, and the notes and comments they offer are always very helpful. The orthodontist who is monitoring my progress is an excellent, well-experienced person, and I've come to trust his judgement and comments. This whole process is very worthwhile!
