When I requested an engineer visit to…
When I requested an engineer visit to repair my outdoor fridge, I mentioned that I believed it to be a compressor problem. The call out charge was paid and the following day an engineer arrived. However when the engineer arrived I told her my concerns, within 2minutes of arriving she informed me that compressors are not financially viable to repair. This is something I should have been warned about at the time of booking the appointment, I would not have wasted money on call out charge.

If it were a controller, a relay, a capacitor, or any other electrical part then we would have been able to get this cabinet up and running for you. I ordered some pipe on the 25th June. I still have not received nothing and it is now the 13th July. The worst thing is that the customer service is shocking, I have phoned 6-7 times and keep getting promised to be called back why they investigated! Not one of them have stuck to there word. I have asked for a refund and they said they cannot give it to me as they have it down as delivered! I have asked for proof of delivery and it’s taken 10 days to which they still cannot provide me! If you can’t provide the item that said was in stock at the time of order then give me my money back! It’s not very hard, £200 is £200!

I ordered a Mitsuibishi splt system…
I ordered a Mitsuibishi splt system from them and the price was good value. With the purchase came free shipping. After waiting a number of days I was told the equipment would be dispatched. I e mailed them in next couple of days asking for a specific date so I could programme work and instruct client, I was told July 3rd. On the 2nd of July they e mailed and said "sorry its now the 6th of July"! I emailed and said the work programmed and the customer ready can I go and collect and was told no. I rearranged, made my apologies, ate humble pie and promised that we would be on site asap on the 6th. After leaving a staff member at delivery point on the 6th July ALL DAY we called it a day at 18:00 when again no show! I had teh customer ring me NINE times on the day, they had made the site ready and like me dedicted people to attend and advise. We both lost money, we both lost confidence and trust in each other and I can say they will never use me again or support my profile. Sorry Carlton you let me down, you cost me money and I wont use you again!

Hi David, I'm very sorry about the issues you experienced with this order, for some reason Mitsubishi decided to move their warehouse & logistics to a brand new warehouse and it just happened to coincide with a heatwave. This has impacted our customers and the service side of our business as we have also been hit by delays. We have raised the issue with our Mitsubishi rep and they are hopefully sorting any teething problems out. Call before ordering
Our old system broke down...replacement was found on carlton website, called explained I was looking to purchase a specific daikin and needed some simle technical advice on the model, was told by a lady on the phone we are a internet based company and dont keep technical advice on products and to contact daikin, did so, ordered product the same day which delivery was stated as 2-3 days, get a call following day to be told item is not in stock and wont be in stock for two weeks. Advice is to call before you purchase

While there were some changes in service dates, the technician was professional and explained a number of concerns we had about a system with which we were unfamiliar in our new home.
The company owner also reached out when I had questions and we were able to amicably resolve them.

Hi Jasmeet, thank you for the review. It was not poor customer service, the item ordered is 250kg and 2.1m wide, it would not fit through your doorway. We tried to work with you to arrange a re-delivery once the door had been removed but you were unhappy with the re-delivery cost, of which we were just passing the cost on we were not putting a mark up on. Unfortunately dimensions and weight should be checked prior to ordering as it is your responsibility to get this item inside. Adam Carlton
