A fantastic day of driving instruction - thx to Colin for the expert tuition!

A great informative day, so much to learn after some 50 years of swift driving.
Will be back for more.

Colin and the team are very good. This training is a life changer. Having access to Millbrook is a privelige. Value for money is exceptional. If you knew what you were getting you would not hesitate to part with your hard earned.

Starts - trailbraking - checking and reawakening the ancient ABS on my 1989 328 - timed laps and shooting the breeze about automotive developments - hybrids / electrics and self driving vehicles - all made a very enjoyable further visit to CAT and Colin - highly recommended

Spent the day with colin reviewing and improving my over grip and car dynamics understanding to help me have more confidence in wet races and letting the car slide and having the knowledge to deal with it. As always I learnt lots about me and the car control needed. Thanks again guys , brilliant service and a great day, steve jordan

What a great day! I wanted to get better at breaking and cornering, and just understanding my car’s limits and this day delivered all those things. Colin is an excellent instructor, and is very good at explaining to you what you can do better. He also takes the time to check that you understand what is happening with the car at any point, and what you can do to change that…

The facility at Millbrook is also a really great set up, with loads of different options and some fantastic roads…

It was a very exciting, at times a bit scary but always knowing I was in the safe hands of Steve . It was good to be taken outside of my comfort zone to learn new driving techniques and what my car could do.

I recently attended a course with CAT Driver Training, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The entire team was friendly and welcoming, which made the process smooth and enjoyable. I had several queries before deciding on the right course for me, and they were all answered promptly and professionally. Despite my need to book a course at short notice, the team managed to accommodate me, which I greatly appreciated. However, I would recommend contacting CAT as early as possible to discuss provisional dates and ensure availability.

The instruction provided during the course was excellent—relaxed yet highly professional. Colin, the instructor, demonstrated an impressive wealth of experience, which inspired confidence even when pushing the limits of my driving abilities. Every aspect of the training was clearly explained, making it easy to grasp the techniques being taught.

Millbrook Proving Ground provided an ideal setting for the training, with its superb facilities perfectly suited for practicing the instructed techniques. I used my own car for the course, and under Colin's guidance, I felt entirely confident even when driving close to the edge of its capabilities. At no point did I feel the car was at risk, thanks to Colin's expert coaching.

An added bonus of the course was its customizability to fit individual needs. Colin also supplied detailed notes from the day's training, which were invaluable for reviewing and refining the techniques learned.

Overall, I had an outstanding experience with CAT Driver Training. A big thank you to the entire team for their dedication and professionalism!

A really instructive and enjoyable day. They’ve honed the training to help take you (and your car) to levels that you didn’t see possible before the day. Learning and understanding why you are doing a few basic things and getting you to do less overall makes your driving smoother and better. It’s magic!!

CAT performance group driving day at the famous Millbrook what can I say! What a fantastic experience I enjoyed with fellow car driving enthusiasts! Well organised with truly outstanding and knowledgeable instruction and a fantastic learning experience cannot be more highly recommend enough putting your driving skills and vehicle to the test anyone who drives should definitely do this. Huge thank you so everyone on site there!

I arrived running late and stressd but got a great welcome from Colin and relaxed into the day.
The amount of learning was incredible and I think it all went in. I will be much faster and more confident on my next track day.

Where to start! Firstly, the venue (Millbrook) is about as good as it's going to get, frankly. Secondly, the office/garage/break area is nestled away in the hills of the Alpine track, away from the hustle and bustle of the proving ground which feels more personal and relaxed. Thirdly, the staff. Steve took myself and a colleague on the first day followed by Colin on the second. Both of which are excellent and highly experienced drivers and tutors. I must stress the experienced part! You can be great at a subject but being a great tutor as well is a true skill, both of which have got in buckets!

I was fortunate enough to experience this through work as a necessity, but if I could continue to go and improve on my own accord, I would. There's a real sense of value and solidity with the courses, the cars and the venue.

I can't recommend them enough and will be counting down the days until my next course.

Amazing day at Millbrook in my car. Learnt all about my car, making me so much more confident out on the roads. So many valuables skills learnt like emergency braking, accident avoidance, controlling skids and so much more. I am a young driver so this experience was extremely helpful as I have only been driving for approximately 1 year therefore it build both my confidence and safety in the car. I was truly able to see what my car can do which was amazing. Would highly recommend to any other drivers, such a great day and lovely people. Thank you so much!

I had the most fantastic day with Colin - he's brilliant at explaining and demonstrating everything about dynamics, handling, psychology, and anything else related to driving on and off the track. By the end of the day I was a much much much more confident and definitely better driver. I'd hugely recommend CAT Driver Training to everyone, regardless of skill level - I bet Colin can teach you new and hugely useful skills!

My wife and I had a tremendously fun day together under the 1-1 instruction of Colin and Steve in our individual cars. Both instructors were professional at all times and we both felt absolutely safe to try out new things, make mistakes and gradually grow in confidence. The day was well planned, organised and delivered, covering everything promised. This is an expensive day so it needs to be absolutely right and I can say it was worth every penny; we learnt so much. My wife was worried that as a female she may be treated differently but Steve was welcoming, calm and encouraging to her, in fact both instructors put her at ease straight away. The Milbrook Proving Ground provides the perfect venue to undertake these courses (L1 track for me and L3 Road for my wife) with its fabulous different areas from skid patches to an Alpine course with hair-pin bend. This is not a short 'driving experience', this is a full on, intensive but rewarding 1-1 day with plenty of time behind the wheel. We learnt the abilities of ourselves and of our own vehicles (both treated safely and with respect by the instructors) and we will definitely be back for more, I highly recommend CAT Driver Training to improve your driving skills from whatever level of driving capability you are currently at. Excellent - 5 stars!

WOW!!!
What a fantastic day, after recapping day 1 and adding a few new touches. Colin told me that later today when these things all come together you will say to yourself, Wow! Then came the demo of the Alpine loops in Colins Kuga and I did not believe I would be capable of matching his speed and positioning. But WOW!!!
Thanks to Jo and Lynne for making me feel welcome and to Colin for another day of expert guidance and tuition that on the day actually led to a number of WOWs!!
And even a couple of cheesy High fives.

I spent a day at Milbrook being trained by Colin in my GT4. It was by far the best training I've ever received and even though I've been driving performance cars for many years I learned a lot. There was lots of driving time and the theory was well presented and easy to understand. Colin has a natural teaching ability and really put me at ease. It really was a lot of fun, the day flew by, very relaxed atmosphere. Hospitality was excellent too. I'll definitely be going back for more training. Highly recommended!
