Aida was excellent in Eastbourne. Totally transformed my hair. Would totally recommend this pleasant salon too.

Took my daughter to cellys in poole for a cut and blow dry showed the so called hair dresser.what she wanted, it's the same as my hair a inverted Bob, it's extremely un even and looks like it has be hacked at she has big long chunks and short chunks I now have to pay for her to have this re done at another hairdressers what a waste of £38 font no how the women can call her self a hair dresser

Always go to cellys and wouldn’t go anywhere else I always have Sharon as she is a fab hairdresser also she knows how I like my hair cut also the other staff are amazing

I only wanted a trim. I was told there was was a wait I said that's fine. Waited a hour and the lady who was before me was finished I expected to be next. But no the lady who just come in and sat down within minutes got seen. I asked why and how long and got told they didn't know. I won't be going in there again. Lost my custom.

Right well where do I start?!? I went into Cellys Gravesend on Friday 7th of February 2025, I had red in my natural brunette hair and it wasn't coming out even thou it was a washout, anyway I went to Cellys and explained to them I have a high allergy to PPD and said is there anything they could do to help me? I was expecting them to say about having a PATCH TEST done 48 Hours before dying my hair and helping me out (AS THIS IS THE LAW AND THE POLICY UNDER SECTION 3!!) but NO, they on the spot said they could help me there and then and showed me a brown hairdye and LIED saying there was LOW AMOUNTS of PPD in their dye and reassured me I'd be ok and WON'T HAVE AN ALLERGY! while the dye was on it started to tingle and itch and I TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS AND THEY SAID IT'S NORMAL! so of course I said ok then AS I THOUGHT I WAS IN GOOD HANDS! when the timer had finished it went off and they ignored this and left me sitting with dye on my head for a good few minutes after, I said something and they said yes she is just coming she's on her break at the moment, they then told me to go over to the sink to have it washed off but the lady who did my dye was nowhere to be seen so I asked again is this being washed off? They said yes in a minute and said it cannot develop anymore, they eventually washed it off and dried it, I paid £57 and on their website it says shoulder length is £43 for full head so no idea where £57 came from!! They ripped me off! Anyway 3 hours later when I'm home I started to feel REALLY ITCHY ON BOTH MY SCALP AND THE BACK OF MY NECK AND IT ALSO FELT HOT ON BOTH AREA'S AND SWOLLEN AND SORE TOO AND I FELT REALLY UNWELL so started to worry, i went straight to A&E and they said I HAVE HAD A MILD REACTION AND I'M LUCKY I CAME WHEN I DID AS IT COULD OF BEEN A LOT WORSE!! NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF UNPROFESSIONALISM I AM ON STRONG ANTIHISTAMINES CALLED FEXOFENADINE HYDROCHLORODE 180 MG TO TAKE IT ALL DOWN!! THEY ARE BAD PROFESSIONALS AND CLEARLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT OTHERS SAFETY AND HAVE BROKEN THEIR CODE OF CONDUCT WHICH STATES THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO A PATCH TEST 48 HOURS UNDER SECTION 3 OF THEIR LAW!!

Revisited Cellys in Hove after a long time. The last time was a disappointment but this time I walked out feeling happy and satisfied with my hair cut. Serge did a great job cutting my hair. He knew exactly what he was doing and what I needed. It’s the first time I felt like a hairdresser did not get carried away just chopping my hair shorter and shorter to give it style. Serge said “your hair doesn’t need cutting too much”! I couldn’t believe my ears. 😄

I always go to Cellys in Hemel Hempstead. Shamila is my go to hairdresser. Shamila is absolutely awesome, best hairdresser I have ever had. Nobody else does my hair. Finally got it cut short for a vacation, Shamila recommended which style would suit me and SHE WAS NOT WRONG! If going to Cellys, always as for Shamila. Thank you Shamila.

I have been a regular customer at Celly's in Bognor for years and I am always pleased with the results I get. I always ask for high/low lights mix and I don't think I would trust anyone to do my hair now. For anyone who would like to have their hair done- I would recommend Dominic- he is amazing, highly skilled stylist who will give advice on how to achieve your dream hair-do. He knows exactly how the hair will respond to colour and takes great pride in his work and always does his best for the customer, an absolute star.

Don't go to the Brazillian woman. I asked her for a graduated bob and then she put all the front forward with a set of scissors - i shouted "don't do that" and she said "too late" ans laughed - she cut a chunk off my hair so the style i paid for was never gonna work. She also ruined my hair cutting a huge chunk out of my hair. She found it funny to get hold of my hair and cut it so it would genuinely ruin it. I've had to go to professional hairdressers for hair cut correction.
Please dont let this woman go any where near scissors and most definitely do not pay

I love how my hair turned out it looks fantastic the staff are lovely and I would definitely recommend this place to others the hairdresser in had is called Rita and she’s amazing and very funny

Bad hair colour experience at Bognor salon - nothing like what I chose. Dark brown came out pale pinky/orange/purple. Disaster. Was too embarrassed to say anything and staff were very preoccupied with their Xmas staff party that evening. The hair cut was poor too. I paid a lot to get it corrected elsewhere as best they could. Not going back.

Celly's Poole - I was treated as a bit of an irritant the minute I walked in. They advertise 'everything is £21'. All I wanted was a dry cut with layers. I have very long hair and wanted it 30cm shorter. The rude/arrogant man assessing my hair said my hair needed to be wet and then combed etc..........bumping the cost up to £38. I knew then that this low-life was a con artist trying his luck. As I felt he was fleecing me I left and thought it is my duty to warn people to be vigilant of this scammer. I went to another 'walk in' hair dresser (not Celly's) in Southampton and had a wonderful experience and yes......their price was exactly that.....a true price and I had a dry cut by a charming hairdresser who mentioned that I could donated my 30cm off-cut hair to a charity called Little Princess Trust who use the hair to make wigs for children with cancer. I immediately warmed to the generosity of the hairdresser and will be back.

Maria at cellys Torquay is amazing. My colour is perfect and the cut is beautiful, was made to feel very welcome, i will now be booking with Maria on a regular basis. i would very highly recommend

Excellent customer service.
I Went for a cut in Cellys Hove. I left initially happy but was subsequently disappointed with my cut as my hair was longer than I expected once dried. I returned to the salon the following day and the wonderful Sergei made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and gave me a great cut.Very pleased. Thank you 😊

I’ve had my hair cut twice at Barnstaple Celly’s by Rita and Rosa in the recent months. The best haircuts I have had in many years. Both hairdressers are very professional and friendly. Salon is clean and welcoming.

Popped in on the off chance of getting my hair sorted for an appointment in 2 days. The lovely Rosa had her work cut out to sort out my thick, unruly frizzy and curly hair. She did an amazingly fantastic job. I am so so happily chuffed with the results. Thank you Rosa for being so kind and patient and for sorting my mop out. You are a star ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐

As usual the wonderful Leah in Cellys of Plymouth never lets me down. Leah is a master of her craft, she listens, suggests and make you really feel you’ve been heard.
I can as do many have a huge imagination where my hair is concerned and never in 18 months has Leah let me down.
My hair after Leah’s suggestions has never been in better condition and looks fab.
I would not use any other salon or stylist.
