Cellys commercial road are disgusting , the girls are rude , disrespectful, bitchy and definitely not welcoming , how the shop is still open is beyond me !!!
There’s no professionalism there what’s so ever , there common and nasty .
They talk about there clients behind there back slagging them off I’ve sat in the chair in the past and heard them all , the manager is the bitchiest one of all , the girls need to get a grip ! They think there something else , when in fact , there only working In a low rated shop with low rated managers
Total thing is a mess and and a disgrace
If you’re looking for that personal touch and that deserved rest having your hair done !
Please don’t waste your money , put it towards somewhere decent !!!

Extremely bad. My partner had her hair dyed at the store on George Street in Hove. She said at the time that the dye was on her forehead and neck and was told not up worry.

After her hair was washed, it had very obviously dyed her forehead, neck and ear. She was told it'd wash off easily. A week later and it is still really visible.

I'd share the photos if I could upload them. She's too upset to go back to even speak to them -

Serge at Cellys Hove salon transformed my hair. Absolutely love my cut and butterfly blow dry. He was very attentive and professional. Thank you

Always great service I never go anywhere else, I like the flexibility of not having to book and usually the wait isn't long , came to the salon today love my new colour and cut stylist was great and understood what I wanted also had my eyebrows done which saved me going somewhere else and a really good price as always very happy customer

I had my hair washed cut layered and blow dried today at Cellys Poole in Dorset, the staff are very friendly, the prices are great, and they have a Loyalty card, the salon is very clean and tidy.... the lady ( sorry I didn't get her name) gave a wonderful head massage as well, my 4th appointment there and will continue to go there. Thank you

She has been cutting my hair for some time now.

The staff are always very nice there.

They offer you a cup of tea or coffee during your time with them.

I would recommend Kim of Celly's hair salon in Brighton every time.

I am very satisfied with her and the Celly's staff.

You do not need an appointment, it works on a first come, first serve basis..

Everything is £21.

Thats good value for a hair do these days.

Butchered my hair
Asked for a couple of inches cut
The lady said I will do straight back and later a little to make shape - said yes
My hair was lovely and thick and she layered 2/3 of it out and now my hair looks damaged and extremely thin
When I said I just wanted it to go short in length she said I’m doing I just do with layers
Putting my trust in her as I don’t go to hairdressers very often out of the fear of this happening
When finished I was so upset. Paid and left and after washing it. It looks even worse!!
I have bits of hair sticking up now and she has made it look like I have a round balloon of hair on my head it looks so bad. I can’t do any style with it so just having to try pin it back till it grows out now

The whole chat throughout was a bout a stabbing that happened - not really the chat I would expect or want

Went to get hair cut this morning 20th August 2024. I was seen quickly to a chair. Mert was my stylist, and he done a wonderful job I absolutely love it. So thank you Mert and all the team. Highly recommend them

I’ve only ever been In here twice (years apart ) , but I was in Worthing today and was desperate to get my hair cut . The lady who cut my hair was honestly so amazing and professional . I can’t remember her name but she had copper coloured hair . She was so helpful. THANK YOU !

Went to Cellys at beginning of June, when arrived it was cash only so went and got £50.00 out of bank put two 10s in front of phone and a 20 and a 10 in the back. At £19.00 per treatment I was going just for wash and cut but decided to have dried and styled. When finished went to the till and gave Greta who was my stylist the two 10s and took the 20 and 10 out from the back gave her the 20 and put the 10 back. When I looked back up Greta said I was 10 short so not thinking gave her the other 10.whe I got outside and realised what she had done I returned and she denied taking 50 off me when it should of been 40. The boss said he checked the camera and she did not put the other 10 anywhere so he is either in with the theft or he did not check.I left that shop with no money. This was in Cellys in Gravsend and the stylist was

Im always nervous using a new hairdresser qnd i had already been told that Cellys Newbury get mixed reviews. Ankha (sp?) did my hair today blonde foils, cut and blowdry and i am beyond delighted! She did an amazing job of my hair and i am so pleased with it. She cut it slightly shorter than i was expecting but she absolutely nailed it, trust your hairdresser! Im moving to Cornwall soon but i think I will be returning to Newbury for my hair! I will be lucky to find another hairdresser as good.
