The chosen cottage was lovely, no complaints about it.
To get to the cottage very narrow single track hedge lined roads were used. I left a pleasant review stating thus information would have been helpful up front as any wide vehicles may be scratched by the overgrown brambles etc.
This was to help other guests but Classic Cottages chose not to publish my review, even though their website and app claims them publish all reviews regardless of feedback. I would take all reviews with a pinch of salt as obviously cherry picked to sound good.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. The location was absolutely perfect — everything you could possibly need was right on the doorstep, from shops and restaurants to easy access to local attractions. One of the real highlights was the balcony; the views were truly breathtaking. It was such a pleasure to simply sit outside, relax, and watch the world go by.

The apartment itself was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully designed. However, I did have to rate the comfort slightly lower due to the mattress on the double bed in the bunk bed room. I usually sleep well anywhere and have never had issues with back pain, but unfortunately, this mattress seemed to be in need of an upgrade. I found myself waking frequently during the night and starting the day with back discomfort. Addressing this would really help make this already fantastic apartment flawless.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. With just a small improvement, this place would be perfect in every way.

My experience with Classic Cottages was great from the initial booking right through to my stay. The property was absolutely beautiful, clean and well equipped. There was a 24 hr number and a local housekeeper who answered my initial queries when I arrived. The beds were comfortable, and the overall care and customer experience was great. Would highly recommend.

Great apartment in a great location. Easy booking process. Excellent arrival/departure instructions. Ideal for couple, within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bus and rail services.

I stayed at Bridge Pool Cottage with a friend and we both loved it. It is a beautiful cottage with everything we needed. The cottage location is central, so it is very easy to explore Cornwall’s beautiful places, from coastal walks and hamlets to St. Michael’s Mount and it was always such a joy to return in the evening to the peace and beauty of the cottage. The wood burning fire added to the lovely cosiness and falling asleep at night to the sounds of owls calling was dreamy.

I really enjoyed my morning cup of tea in the wonderful conservatory, watching the beautiful birds, the serene countryside and the relaxing flowing river. I also enjoyed the beauty of watching the occasional early autumn leaf catching the light of the morning sun as it gently floated down to the river. It truly is a magical place.

The Camel Trail is close to the cottage which is suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders. One morning we had a lovely leisurely stroll to the Snail’s Pace Cafe and I had the best full English vegetarian breakfast I had tasted, my friend also enjoyed a full English breakfast too. Walking on the trail in the evening we were delighted to see bats darting above our heads and later enjoyed looking up at the starry night sky free from the light pollution of the city.

Thank you to the owners Trevor and Kathryn, our stay at your cottage was one I will treasure, a wonderful treat for both of us. Had we had another week, we would have been very happy to spend the rest of our holiday relaxing and enjoying the cottage.

Mount view Safari tent in Ludgvan is an amazing place to spend a holiday. Stunning location and provides everything you need and more . Very clean and has a very caring and passionate owner who cares greatly about making his guests stay a 5 star experience

We had an excellent holiday at Rowes Cottage near Mullion, Cornwall. It is a single storey cottage, very well fitted out and with excellent views over the fields to the sea in the distance. Booking via Classic Cottages was easy and efficient. We have stayed here several times and thoroughly recommend both Rowes Cottage and Classic Cottages!

Just home from a great holiday in Ventnor (IOW).
Great apartment, well equipped and welcome pack on arrival. Fantastic sea views and the apartment was exactly as the photos show- looking forward to my next visit.

Tried to book a place. Received one email saying "we need to check some details". Received a second email saying "dont forget to book". Tried to use the link to book and was unable to book. Called and they said someone else booked on the exact dates. They claimed a third email was sent - it wasn't. Terrible and unclear service. We'd spent the bets part fo a month trying to find the perfect spot for us. Very unclear and disappointing process. I had my card ready to pay when booking. This seems absurd that you wouldn't just take my money when I tried to book. Weird.

Edit: I have upgraded this review. My unhappiness was really due to the initial customer service. While that did upset me I really appreciated the response to this review acknowledging things could have been done better...it's not about blame, it's about making it easier. So thank you

I reserved a holiday and was sent 2 emails both saying they would hold the reservation until Thursday 28th, came to pay and they had let someone else book it.

I called and was told it's exactly 24 hours (which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the 2 emails I got) and it's tough luck I should have read the policy (which there was no mention of or link to in the emails). Apparently as well it's not 24 hours, it's by the end of the working day and I should have realised that when they said 'we will hold until the 28th' this either means a certain time on the 28th or the end of the working day, whichever comes sooner.

I was disappointed by missing out on our trip. I was more disappointed by the customer service. If there was a time I needed to pay by it should have been with the date on the reminder emails, I shouldn't have to guess, I don't think it was unreasonable that 'We'll hold your dates until Thursday 18th' meant I assumed if I paid on the 18th that was OK. They could have acknowledging this might be an issue or confusing and perhaps they could consider rewording their reminders. But instead they said it was my fault for not reading the specific policy or assuming the date would finish at the end of working day (although clearly they take bookings/reservations/payments outside of the working day). I felt there was no understanding, no awareness that they might be able to improve what they do and just rudeness.

They may well be great if it goes to plan, but don't expect any empathy if there are issues.

The cottage had parking and was only 2 minute walk to the coast. They is pubs in walking distance. A short walk to town centre. Cottage was done to high standard. Had all the equipment you need for a relaxing stay. Not far to Dawlish.

Wooda Holiday Park was excellent. Warm friendly welcome, excellent facilities great location. The accommodation was modern clean comfortable well equipped just perfect. Found the accommodation on Classic Cottages who service and help arranging was easy, professional just perfect. Thank you.

We spent a week at Coastview. The views were breathtaking, overlooking the sea. The house was incredibly well equipped, with everything you could need.
It was a three minute walk to the beautiful, sandy beach. There was a local pub, minutes away and another two lovey cafes, which also served great food.
We would definitely stay there again!

We were very pleased with the quality of our cottage, and received an excellent service from Classic Cottages.

A really lovely peaceful stay in accommodation - The Dolls House, Branscombe - that is beautifully presented and maintained. Would happily recommend. Thank you everyone at Classic Cottages for another thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing break.

Great company, with fantastic cottages. Have been with them for years, not had a bad property. Latest one The Haven near Port Isaac was outstanding. Easy booking procedure, great customer services they will help with anything you need. Highly recommend
