I am so glad I chose Claverings to help me with my move. My initial meeting with James filled me with confidence and I knew they would look after my items on the day. That is why I went with them. Leading up to the move James supplied me with all the boxes I would need at no cost. I was never pressured to pay the deposit until I had my completion date and every interaction I had with James was both helpful and polite. On the actual moving day, James and his team were on time and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a very stressful day for me as I hadn’t moved for 27 years but the guys just got on with things and followed my instructions and managed my move without any issues. The whole team was friendly, polite, nothing was too much trouble and it was a pleasure working with them. Before they left they checked if I needed anything moving and then presented me with a card and bottle of bubbly! They made the whole experience much easier and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, affordable, professional and caring Removals firm. Thank you Claverings!

The whole process was handled excellently by the team. Due to the nature of moving the final completion date was constantly changing and Claverings put no pressure on and were flexible with the constant date changes with no complaints. On the day the guys pitched up and didn’t stop all day, they put a real shift in throughout and got all of our stuff to where it needed to be. Extremely grateful, particularly with the changes of mind of locations of heavy items (sorry). Couldn’t recommend Claverings higher. Start to finish…zero stress. Thankyou.

Very friendly and professional firm. They were particularly good about repositioning large pieces of furniture. Their packing service was excellent and I loved that they reuse as many boxes and packing as they can. I would recommend them very highly.

From the initial enquiry I made with this company - they were efficient, friendly, professional and honest.
I called Claverings on behalf of my aunt who was moving after 64 years in the same house. I spoke to James and he made an appointment to visit my aunt (who is in her 80's), look at the house and what the move would entail. He gave a competitive quotation. Not the cheapest we had received but not the most expensive either. I firmly believe in the saying ' buy cheap, buy twice'.
We opted for Claverings to pack up the house, not just move boxes we had previously packed. They arrived promptly on moving day and immediately set to work. They were quick and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Their patience with my aunt was admirable. She had not grasped that they would do everything - and there was no need to attempt any packing herself, bar her personal stuff. She had half packed boxes and belongings all over the place. The guys from Claverings just took all this in their stride and brought order to her chaos! They were particularly careful with her beloved porcelain figurines!
Their honesty was also noteworthy and worth mention. She told them to throw away a tea service. They pointed out that it was in fact silver plated! Likewise with an old ring she told them to discard as she said it was 'tat'. They pointed out that it was actually gold!
To sum up - they were efficient in the lead up to the move and on moving day surpassed all expectations. Professional, and polite, they worked swiftly and with incredible care. They displayed outstanding patience and kindness to my aunt and made absolutely certain that furniture and boxes were exactly where my aunt wanted them in the new house before they left.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Claverings if you are moving house. In fact, I'd go so far as to say - don't bother with quotations from other company's - just go straight to Claverings.

Dewy & Pierce worked a minor miracle fitting everything in the van, including a rather heavy piano!
Nothing was too much trouble… they arrived on time & quickly filled the van and later arrived at our new house soon after we did. Unpacking was even quicker … all items carefully deposited where we wanted them.
Very polite & professional & highly competitive in price. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Made our move very easy nothing was too much trouble we had a lot of heavy furniture and some things which were large and had to go through sone spaces they did it all without issues

What can we say?! Just book with Claverings! Any house move is stressful, but James and his team showed us it didn’t need to be. Communication was excellent, prices highly competitive and their service was second to none.
From an 8:30am arrival to nearly a 6pm finish, the team worked solidly…nothing was too much trouble. All the team were punctual, polite and took great care of our belongings, even taking the initiative to arrange bedroom furniture to suit sloped ceilings.
It was a pleasure to have the team around our new home and their aftercare service was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will!

Polite, considerate, no fuss, strong & efficient sums them up.
I used Barnes on my previous house move & they sent me an overweight inappropriately behaved chap who practically demanded bacon butties and tea all day. He huffed & puffed and made me feel guilty for the weight of my furniture. He didn’t stop talking and was really quite rude & personal.
What a delight these men from Claverings were. Completely professional in every way & I would highly recommend them.

Great movers. Very professional and punctual. James Lewis and Cam. Three really nice lads. Helpful, friendly and very patient with my many requests to put things here or there. They waited patiently with us for the keys. The job was completed in good time on a very hot hot day. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would not hesitate to use again.

I cannot recommend Claverings enough. Dewy and Jay were both brilliant on moving day and made it a lot less stressful and actually fun!!
They provided boxes and tape a few weeks in advance which helped massively.
Nothing was too much trouble on the day for them. All my furniture was taken down and rebuilt. Despite the awful rain they made sure all my belongings were kept dry, as well as putting sheets and tape down in both properties to protect the flooring.
I wouldn’t go to anyone else for removals on the future and would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve moved a lot over the years and it’s always been incredibly stressful and something I dread. Claverings took away all of that stress and I will ALWAYS use them for moving from now on (although I’m hoping I don’t need to move for a while now). I had already booked a removal company but after seeing the reviews and speaking to James I felt more called to go with Claverings.

James and Charlie were a dream; arrived right on time (always a plus in my book), dismantling furniture in a methodical and stress-free manner. They even corrected my poor diy attempt at putting a chair together, going above and beyond.
