Terrible service, their unlimited esim stop working after 40/50gb used, don’t trust them

I bought on 30.december 2024 an eSim with a 59 £ monthly plan and after only 14 days it is not working anymore. It just disconnected and "No service" words are being shown for the eSim. Tried to call the support service several times, without success. I wrote them few emails, same output. I am really dissapointed. Would not recommend if problem does not solve quickly

I have the esim version. Its really great when it works(caveats below). For me, the biggest issue is that the esim stops working for me when I turn it off and try turning it on again.

When this happens, you have to reach out to their support, and well, their support is really bad. You have to push them to act - otherwise they just ignore your predicament. Be ready to bring out your inner Karen.

Also be mindful that the sim connectivity depends on the networks they support, which is not always great in every place.

Still, if you need unlimited connectivity possibilities at certain times, this is the best option, if it works...

edit: They did get back to me after I asked them AGAIN. That said, after 1 week and switched to another country and it has stopped working again.

I've been a customer of Connectpls a little over a year now.
I have one e-sim from them.
Everything has worked out very well all this time and it is one of the only companies to provide a no data limit EU sim.

Only hickup was when I first ordered the esim they didn't send it after a few days. I then contacted the customer service and it was sorted out very quickly. The same happened to a friend of mine and it was aswell fixed fast after a contact with customer service.

I would've given 5 stars but with this hickup I'll give them 4.

They appear to be SCAMMERs or just a very poor company! I am in Europe and the second QR eSIM they have sent me is invalid/unusable! I paid for an eSIM from them on Dec 18, 2024 345pm and it is now Dec 20 1043 pm and I have yet to have their service! Do NOT trust this company. Connected Destinations aka connectpls.com appear to be a reseller as their eSIM QR is at site rentconnect.net

For chat and services issues, do give yourself lots of wait time such as almost a day to respond with useless info and invalid eSIMs to string you along. Be ready with all your paperwork as you will need to dispute your transaction with this company!

UPDATE: Finally received a valid eSIM QR code on Dec 21 @102pm. I strongly recommend going with someone else, anyone else (4 days without service for the 30 day plan I paid for starting Dec 18 and no mention from Connectpls of honoring and extending service for the extra lost days).

ConnectPls router gives us freedom to use unlimited internet as we travel throughout Europe for a couple of years. It really seems to be the only easy solution to get this type of service so we are super pleased. From time to time, we have connectivity or router issues but ConnectPls customer service is always incredibly helpful and get us going again in no time. Thank you :-)

Habe den Service des Unternehmens im August 2024 für zwei Tage im Urlaub genutzt. Es wurde damit geworben, dass man nur die Tage bezahlen muss die man auch wirklich genutzt hat.
Hatte den Service dann noch innerhalb des ersten Monats schriftlich via E-mail wieder gekündigt.

Leider bucht Connectpls monatlich von meiner Kreditkarte ab ohne weitere Erklärung. Inzwischen haben die 100€ von meiner Kreditkarte abgeholt. Habe deswegen schon vier Anfragen an den Support geschrieben. Man vertröstet mich immer nur damit dass man sich melden möchte.

Währenddessen wird immer weiter Geld abgebucht. Ich musste deshalb jetzt meine Kreditkarte sperren und werde Anzeige bei der Polizei erstatten.

Gehen sie keine Geschäftsbeziehung mit diesem Anbieter ein. Dies ist Scam!

Very good service and good internet coverage during our campervan roadtrip in Europe. I use their service on and off for about 5 years now and never ever regretted this.

A different problem everyday. The first month was perfect but then everything went worse. Everyday a different problem and they told me that I have low coverage (Munich) but in the Map Germany is signed as covered.

Great company offering data SIM cards to use across the EU. We started with an e-sim which was activated the same day to get us out of a situation and later swapped to a 5G unlimited data SIM. Absolutely what you need when traveling. Would recomend without hesitation.

We used the sim card over 5 months while travelling Spain and France. It worked really well and we will use it again in the future if we decide to take a long trip 🙏

SCAM!! , dont even think to use their service , i ordered the product since 7 days ,, till now didnt recieve anything

They delivered my eSIM 24 hours after the payment. i.e. they did not provide one day of service right at the beginning. What I had was a global eSim. It stopped working in Spain on the 3rd day. I spent countless hours on the phone talking to their support people. After that the eSim worked on and off (off most of the time). In the end, I said cancel my subscription. They said OK and got me to fill out a form for cancellation. At the end of my subscription period they ignored my cancellation and charged me again. I had to deal with this issue wasting hours again. Take my advice, keep away from this company.

Immaculate service. Even when a failure from my end caused me to buy a plan that didn't work in my destination, they were so helpful to help me resolve the issue although they didn't have to.

I used the Plus Europe Package service in Albania with their device for 14 days (from 7 to 21 August 2024), but I had many problems: the hotspot worked for 2-3 days, then it couldn't connect anymore and I had to find some B&B or restaurant wi-fi to be able to write via whatsapp (the only communication channel!) to ConnectPls Support to restore the service! It was agony!!!
When I returned home to Italy I immediately cancelled the service via their cancellation form. I also wrote via whatsapp to Support who confirmed the cancellation of the service on 22 August 2024. On 1 September 2024 the surprise: they charged my credit card also for the service of the month of September (NOT requested). In short, in addition to the poor service, there was also a scam. DO NOT use the services of this company because you do not have any contract in hand and they instead charge your credit card even if you no longer use their services. BE CAREFUL!!!

No service !! No Email !! No Internet reception

Awful product and company. We bought their European package to get data abroad on our road trip. The device has not had signal once on our trip despite us getting full 4G/5G signal on our phones.

They have been responsive on WhatsApp, however, not helpful at all. We keep receiving the same instructions of resetting the device and waiting a few minutes, or moving to a location with better signal. Having done this several times on different occasions in different locations with full signal, they still send the same instructions.

We are now trying to get a refund, but they are proving to be very elusive, and are continuing to send the same instructions. I am concerned that they are a scam.

I’d strongly recommend avoiding this company and finding another option for data abroad.
