Considerate and professional advice left us feeling we had done the right thing.
Initially it was not possible to arrange a face-to-face meeting to discuss pre-payment for a funeral plan due to staff shortage issues. However, I was contacted by a senior staff member, Tom Clark, who arranged a meeting with my partner and myself at a local office. Throughout our meeting Mr Clark was considerate, professional, and advised us that our requirements could be met and competently executed in the future when required. We concluded our meeting, paying in full for our selected plans, and feeling satisfied that we had done the right thing.

We Had an appointment and it was right on time even though she had driven quite a few miles to get there.

Offered a great service
I recently visited Co-op Funeralcare to arrange a pre-paid funeral plan, and I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward and comfortable the whole process was.
The staff were incredibly kind, compassionate and professional throughout. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Their knowledge and understanding helped put me at ease when discussing a topic that can sometimes feel daunting.
What I thought might be a difficult or overwhelming experience turned out to be much easier than I expected, thanks to the support and guidance I received. I left feeling reassured that everything was in place and grateful for the care and respect shown throughout.
I would highly recommend Co-op Funeralcare to anyone considering a pre-paid funeral plan. Their friendly and informative approach made a potentially difficult task much more manageable.

I have given a 5 star rating because Anything less would be a travesty.
From the minute I walked in the door,
The minute I left i was treated as a real person,not just another number.
The lady who sorted everything out for me was called Louise,and she was amazing,I asked her for a certain plan,and I got exactly what I asked for,no hard sell,no pressure to get extra bells and whistles,just what I wanted.
I was given a payment plan to help me afford it,something to suit my budget.
It's very hard to find a company you can trust these days,but the co op you can trust.
They have helped me so much in the last 5 years,I have buried my son,my mum,my dad,my auntie Lynn,my uncle Jimmy, and every time they sorted out everything we needed.
Thank you so much
And now I have planned my way to go.
And Louise at cheethams in walkden you are a real credit to the co op and a really really warm caring human being.

Changed funeral plans
My wife and I decided to change our funeral plans and the telephone sales agent was excellent. He walked us through the requirements and options and set up the new plans up over the phone. Peace of mind. Excellent service.

I've recently pre-paid for my funeral with Co-op Funeralcare plan. It was very easy and quick to do online. Within a few days I received a letter with all the necessary documents in a lovely folder detailing the contents of my funeral plan and chosen Co-op funeral home. The folder also contains two very handy small cut out funeral plan cards with my plan number on them. I kept one and gave the other one to my daughter. I made a mistake about the chosen Co-op funeral home, so I called customer service care to change it, which was not a problem and I was able to change it. Customer service care were very professional, polite, patient and kind. Within 2 days I received a letter with the amended Co-op funeral home. I did a lot of research and I'm glad that I chose the Co-op funeralcare plan. I now have peace of mind that everything will be taken care of.

Easy process
I bought my plan online and the instructions were quite clear to follow. I could also nominate someone else to receive the information which is good as it lets someone else know that I have a plan in place. I’ve chosen the co-op direct cremation as the staff at Bishop Auckland were brilliant when my mum died.

I lost my mother and father a couple of years ago . Couldnt fault the cremations . But comments at maidstone and herne bay co op funeral care branches were upsetting . Both branches made comments about bodies could smell .
