I have been a member of the co-op for many years. Recently I got pet insurance for my cat . Was delighted to find I got a discount as a member, & a further discount as I had got my cat from an animal charity.

My requote had increased by about £30…
My requote had increased by about £30 but i went through the whole process of getting another quote, exactly the same details and co-op insurance came back with a quote cheaper than the one I was originally paying.
Basically Co-op tried to rip me off hoping I wouldn't shop around.

Shop around for pet insurance.
I held the pet insurance policy with CO-OP last year. At renewal price nearly doubled (no claims made and dog still
Only 5). Found the identical policy with CO-OP on comparison site much cheaper than renewal. Rang CO-OP to see if they would just apply the price to the existing policy but couldn’t/wouldn’t so I let the old poicy lapse and bought the same policy again as a new customer. Completely stupid and a waste of time. My advice - shop around as a new customer every year regardless!!

No customer services?????
I have Coop home insurance. It's impossible to speak to someone on the phone ? To answer my queries on line I need a policy number which I cant find. So it's impossible to contact them to find my policy number . Absolute worst company services ever .

Online Travel Policy
Purchased a travel insurance policy online, very straightforward. Very competitive price to cover a number of pre existing conditions for an older person.
Then made some slight changes over the phone, answered the phone promptly and agent very helpful.
So far very pleased but yet to make a claim!!!
