Beautiful cottage. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely welcome pack which was fab and appreciated after a long drive. Close to everywhere amazing beaches. First visit to Northumberland won’t be our last. Crabtree and Crabtree also great to deal with

On arrival at The Tumblers I was unable to open the key safe, due to my own stupidity. I telephoned Crabtree & Crabtree and in less than 15 minutes Charlotte arrived and opened it for me. This really was excellent service and I was very grateful.
It was so nice to find that the central heating was on; the property was beautifully clean and I was delighted to find the wonderful Welcome Pack, which other agencies no longer seem to bother with.
I found The Tumblers to be very well furnished with little touches like binoculars, a large torch, aprons and throws. It was also very quiet and peaceful, despite being next to an hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Many thanks.

3 The Bay - A fabulous property. Easy to book through owners. Very good communication, keeping you up to date with payments, deposits and entry details on arrival. Had issue with heating, phoned and was rectified immediately. Facilities in apartment were amazing, there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Apartment was immaculate.

C&C responded very promptly to resolve problems with a dishwasher and washing machine. Excellent service and polite helpful team.
The addition of an extra dog was quickly accommodated. Arrival/departure times extended.

The company is easy to contact and always answers emails promptly. The cottage is absolutely beautiful. They were very helpful when we had to move our booking and make slight changes to our party. Would recommend!

The instructions for finding Kingfisher Cottage were very clear, as was the description of the cottage on the website.
The cottage was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

This was my first return to using your company since I moved to Scotland six years ago from Kendal. The cottages are always of a high standard and The Smithy was up to the standard I was expectng.

I feel lucky to have discovered Crabtree & Crabtree many years ago. They have the most wonderful cottages and have opened up a beautiful new area to me - The Scottish Borders - Crabtree & Crabtree go way over and above with the quality of their service to their customers and make sure that all their customers are helped and supported whenever they need this. Having used them for many years and provided a great review before, we had a really disappointing experience a couple of weeks ago. The property we had booked is in fact owned and managed by another company called Coast and Country stays, so all of the issues we had during the stay were actually dealt with by them. We were expecting to get Crabtree and Crabtree service which has always been good in the past, and instead got Coast and Country stays service which was really poor. The description of the property wasn't accurate. The wifi didn't work properly, beds described as kingsize are actually double, smoke alarms were missing or in one case a fault light was covered with a medical dressing, one bedroom didn't have blinds for all the windows, the pans supplied didn't work on the induction hob, the dishwashers didn't work properly and we had to clean out the filters ourselves which didn't appear to have been done for a very long time in order to get them in a useable state. The mobile number I had been provided with to call for help was switched off. Altogether shabby, disappointing, and nothing like as nice as the listing suggested. The staff at Crabtree and Crabtree have been pleasant as ever but the bottom line is we had a really disappointing time and the listing on their website doesn't reflect what the properly delivers. We have stayed in Crabtree and Crabtree properties for years and associated them with very high standards - not any more unfortunately! They offered us a refund of £250 against a one week stay that cost just over £2500.

As usual the process , contact and communication with Crabtree was faultless, well done. We are very familiar with the Bamburgh area so all good there. There are a couple of things that would make this property better. It needs much better/ brighter lighting everywhere except the kitchen and bathroom , this was fine. It just seemed too dingy - it didn’t do justice to the modern colour pallet. It would have also been useful to have a crockery drainer in the kitchen , for those occasions where there isn’t enough to fill a dishwasher.

Excellent customer service. We booked the holiday cottage very very last minute (the day we visited it.) The staff in the office, who I contacted regarding the booking, were excellent, The website was very clear about additional information regarding the cottage and payments.

We have had an amazing stay, the cottage was absolutely spotless and was so well equipped. It is the nicest place we have stayed in a long time. Looking forward to returning some day.

The girls in the office were extremely professional but friendly.
We had to move properties because of the storm/wind damage. Erin was very calm and gave me all the options available.
During our visit my daughter locked herself out of Friars Farm, again this was sorted out within half an hour.
