Croydex Avis 

I have just replaced my bathroom accessories with Croydex ones. They were the flexi-fit ones from the grosvenor range. So I just fitted them using existing drill holes. I am rubbish at DIY but I managed to fit 4 accessories in 20 mins with no hassle at all. They are really good quality compared to my old ones, I can tell they are going to last many years. Highly recommend.

I simply needed an extra glass shelf for my Croydex bathroom cabinet which I could not find on their website. So I rang them.
The call was answered immediately and two most pleasant staff actioned my request very efficiently.
I note this company has received a number of one-star reviews but my experience today was 5-STAR!

Purchased a slim wire storage basket for my shower about 10 years ago which has just started to rust,(corrode).Emailed photos of rust and purchase receipt and received a positive reply within the hour that they would send a new basket .
For the price I am amazed how long this basket lasted in the harsh environment of a shower but I did follow their cleaning instruction.
I would buy again

Prompt and generous customer service by a quick phonecall. I bought a toilet seat from a different retail outlet. When I fitted it it slipped but on refitting the bracket glue pad disintegrated. I tried to request replacement brackets from the retail outlet, but they kept passing me to different customer service people and asking for photos and videos. When I found the Croydex phone number they dealt with the issue straight away and promised to send the spare parts in the post that day.

Having installed a new Croydex seat with it's innovative easy-fit mechanism a month ago I later discovered one of the buffer tabs was missing. I contacted Croydex through it's website (where it was refreshing to see all avenues of contact advertised) and asked if they could send me a replacement pad. They couldn't but sent me a whole replacement seat which arrived 2 days later by courier. Such brilliant customer service. Well Done Croydex

I bought an ex-display Croydex toilet seat from Wickes, and discovered it didn't have all the accompanying fitments. When I phoned Croydex today I fully expected that I would be paying for the 'missing parts'. Not at all! Alison, the very helpful lady who dealt with my query said that Croydex would send the parts completely free, as a goodwill gesture. So not only do Croydex make the best toilet seats, they are also a very kind firm. Barbara Cherry

Had a query related to rubber buffer pads on a seat purchased a while ago. Customer service was very helpful and understanding, and resolved the issue promptly. Excellent service.

Had a issue with one the shower basket retaining pads. Croydex responded swiftly to my enquiry and resolved the issue with replacement pads.

Rust free …NOT. TRUE CLAIM . As other reviews have stated , the Croydex “ rust free “ shower caddy’s are not what they claim . You might as well just buy any other cheaper caddy because you stand a better chance of having a rust free product . Mine started rusting after 18 months ( slightly ) …now 3 years and it’s an eyesore . As I’ve drilled holes in my shower tiles reluctantly I’m going to have to buy another one …or replace said tiles . I contacted croydex because actually it’s theoretically under warranty ( but as I purchased from Homebase who have now gone bust ) I’m unable to claim . I asked if they’d changed the design / materials in the hope I might get a better product and this was their reply ………….. The base materials have also not been changed. there is always the possibility of the item rusting depending on cleaning materials used on the item.
So according to them , there’s always a possibility of it rusting ?!!! I use flash bathroom cleaner , which no doubt a lot of others do . I’d say avoid unless you want an unsightly heap of rusting metal in your shower .
I was offered no discount on purchasing another one by the way …as an act of goodwill .

Thank you for your reply . Your colleague stated in the correspondence we have been having , that I should clean the shower caddy with a cleaning product that does not contain Anionic Surfcants ….well this was a new one on me , so had to look it up ….this was what I found .
Household Cleaners: Found in laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, shampoos, and bath products.
Soaps: Traditional soaps are a type of anionic surfactant.
So as most of us use shampoo and soap in the shower how are we to avoid this ? Perhaps you need to look at making a more robust product that can tolerate simple cleaning products and shampoos , shower gels etc . I have a stainless steel grab bar in the shower and that hasn’t suffered the same fate .
Thank you for your offer of replacing the product , that is very decent of you . However I cannot after three years find the receipt , I generally hang onto electrical appliance receipts but not this kind of thing .

Have changed my rating to 3 Stars , this is because Croydex have kindly sent me a replacement caddy . So I’d say top marks there for rectifying the matter , although I did have to come on here and make a song and dance about the situation .
However I’m not convinced that exactly the same thing will not happen to the next one given that they have not changed the materials since my last one was purchased . I don’t think they should shout from the rooftops that they are rust free , because clearly that’s not the case .

I had a few issues with a toilet seat purchased on Amazon from the company Croydex, I contacted them by email and received prompt reply’s on both occasions. They went beyond expectations and resolved my issues with full satisfaction.

Firstly, we bought a selection of Croydex bathroom accessories years ago, and the quality is second to none. They still look as good today as the day I fitted them. Recently, a friend's child managed to pull the toilet roll holder off the wall (I used the glue provided to secure it to the wall, as I do not like to drill into tiles) and I did not have a spare tube.
I contacted Croydex to see if after so many years they still provided the adhesive, and if so, how much it would cost.

Tracey from Croydex responded in less than a day, offering to send me a tube free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.

So, not only are their products first class, so is their customer service.

There is a saying, 'You can only speak as you find,' and therefore, given my experience with Croydex, I can only highly recommend them, and should there come a time I will replace my bathroom fittings, Croydex will be my first port of call.

Croydex customer service surpassed our expectations when we found that the plating was starting to peel on our shower basket. The problem was resolved the day after our initial contact.

Bought a toilet seat, looks lovely and was so simple and easy to install. Have supported this company for years and never been let down. Customer service surpasses all levels of expectation and I cant see me ever buying from another.

A few weeks ago I bought a Croydex soft close toilet seat from Screwfix to replace a damaged one. In my haste to fit it I managed to push one of the rubber fixings through the hole in the pan & lost it, as this was a back to the wall pan!
I contacted Croydex Customer Services & explained what had happened & within 2 days I received 2 more rubber fixings, 1 to actually do the job & the other in case I managed to loose the first 1 again!
The actual fitting of the seat was extremely easy after the plugs had been inserted, thanks to the spacing bar that was supplied with the seat. This ensures that the holes in the hinge accurately line up with pins fitted to the pan. As a result of the very good customer support & the ease of fixing I have subsequently replace the seats of 2 other toilets that were showing their age.
I highly recommend both the product & the excellent Customer Service team.

Great customer service on an item purchased through Amazon. Replacement part being sent - no quibbles.
