River Danube Cruise August 2026/April 2027
We booked a River Danube Cruise with Rachel this year which unfortunately was altered due to low water levels so we did not go ahead with it. Rachel (and other members of the team) were super helpful, managed a refund and through endless tries due to date availability, managed to get a cruise next year so we have rebooked. Would recommend this broker

The first cruise consultant was really helpful when I enquired about an on-shore extension to the cruise. She emailed me back with a date and cost of this particular holiday. However the cruise itiniery was in reverse which I didn’t want so I decided to forget the extension and just book the one I wanted.
When I rang I spoke to another staff member who was also very helpful when booking especially when she had to factor-in the discount to the final cost, that was due to me, following the cancellation by Rivière Travel of my previously booked cruise due to low water levels. The booking process of a new cruise for next year was very straight forward.
Both staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful and I would definitely recommend this travel company

Thanks for your detailed review, Gillian. We're sorry that your first cruise with Riviera Travel was cancelled. Unfortunately a lot of cruises have been cancelled on the Rhine and Danube in August due to the water levels. Lets hope we have more luck on the new one next June which I am sure we will. Initial contact was made via the Chatbox which was quick and responsive. It was then followed up with telephone calls which were equally responsive. I was offered a price much lower than going direct to the cruise company so I am happy and satisfied all round.

Efficient helpful and pleasant to speak with

Excellent customer service
Even though we did not have our cruise (canceled due to low level of water in Rhine) our experience with Crui.se was very good. Rebecca went above and beyond to get us a good deal and then sorted out all of my medical needs without fuss. She was patient and very helpful. Then when the problem regarding the cruise being cancelled occurred then Carley was also VERY helpful. She chased up Riviera Travel daily to try and get updates which helped us cope with the frustration of it all. Thank you to all the staff and we will be using you again.

Above and beyond
Booking at short notice, Rebecca was helpful beyond belief. Not knowing how to download a Ryanair boarding pass for a flight from Manchester, she took pity on me, and offered to give up part of her day off, to come to the airport and do the download for me. But then she managed to arrange flights from Gatwick That is not five star service, that is ten star service.
Unfortunately, the Riviera set-up was not so good. They left a group of us stranded at Marseilles airport for an hour and a half, gave wrong excursion details, and provided no food from breakfast until our departure at 15.25 on the last day.
So I'll be booking with crui.se again.

The service was extremely efficient
The service was extremely efficient. We booked a last minute river cruise and within 24 hours we had all our documentation and everything was sorted. Carley was very helpful and looked into all the trips we were interested in. I was very impressed!!

They gave us good experience-based advice before we booked, save a few hundred off booking direct and helped us out when TUI put us on a ship with know air-con failure. Highly recommended.

I was treated extremely well by Rachel, Rebecca and Carly.
All 3 were friendly and at the same time very efficient.

I came across Crui.se completely by accident and am so glad that I did. Rachel was an absolute star, guiding me, a complete river cruise novice, through the minefield of choice.
