The inside is as beautiful as the outside.
Bought it for the fantastic packaging by Lily Blakely, but the chocolate is really nice too. Very rich, it’s a chocolate to sit and savour, have a little square to treat yourself. Stated flavours are accurate to their descriptions and the service and postage/packaging was top notch.

Thanks Amanda! And we really appreciate your suggestion as to where to focus on next - we've actually been testing 2 other 80% bars and one of those was very far-out! (an 85% Tanzania). We weren't sure whether the world was ready for it . . . but it sounds like you definitely are! We're keeping an eye on sales of the existing two 80% bars the more we sell, the more origins we'll offer at 80%+. Superb chocolate with cool packaging
I ordered the larger boxset of all varieties offered and I’m exceptionally pleased I did. Each bar tastes rich and proper as you’d expect from such a simple and pure blend of cocoa and sugar only. I really appreciate the cyclical approach to providing information of who benefits from each bar produced.
The packaging is super nice too.

for a 2 ingredient chocolate there is so many different flavours that it produces just from using different cocoa beans
the owners and workers have such good customer service there was a problem with my original order but darkroom not only offered and alternative but they went out of their way to communicate with me with emails and the handwritten note in my box

Chocolate delight
I have always preferred dark chocolate. But I’m afraid this chocolate has removed any possibility that I will ever again enjoy anything else. It’s not just unique but everything the taste of chocolate should be, rich, distinct, satisfying. It’s my treat by the square in its own right, but I push beyond by pairing one variety along side roasted almonds, another with fresh figs or even (is it heresy?) using it to dip frozen banana slices. I have no shame….

I have bought a selection of your chocolate bars. The Honduras one is my favourite at moment.
