Deliciously Guilt Free is a small, family-run British chocolate maker on a mission to prove that giving up sugar should never mean giving up great chocolate. We make artisan, no added sugar chocolate for people who love chocolate but want less sugar in their lives. Whether you’re living with diabetes, following a keto or low-carb lifestyle, or simply trying to cut down on sugar, we believe you still deserve seriously delicious chocolate. And we mean proper chocolate. We use high-quality cacao, real cocoa butter and carefully chosen ingredients to create rich, smooth chocolate without adding sugar or using palm oil. Our chocolate is made in small batches, stone-ground for days and carefully tempered by our team before making its way to you. Deliciously Guilt Free started in our family kitchen when founder Dan began creating low-carb treats for his wife during her pregnancy after she developed gestational diabetes. What began as one husband trying to make something delicious for his wife has grown into a family business serving thousands of chocolate lovers across the UK. We’re still small. We’re still learning. And we still care enormously. Every day, our little team strives to make the very best chocolate we possibly can… for you.

This is exactly why we do what we do! 😊
Being able to enjoy proper chocolate while keeping sugar incredibly low can make such a difference, particularly for people managing their sugar intake.
Really pleased you're enjoying it... and thank you for giving our little family business a try!

It's always lovely when everything goes exactly as it should, from placing the order right through to that first bite.
Really pleased you enjoyed the chocolate, Kelly. Thank you for giving us a try and taking the time to let us know.

I love that Dan started he's business from the kitchen table, that shows dedication 👏 🙌 the recipes are so much better than other chocolate brands which attracted us to DGF. My husband is diabetic so this chocolate is perfect for him, doesn't raise his sugar levels.
Communication is flowing between us which makes you feel not so guilty when you place an order. Will continue to eat this yummy chocolate & definitely recommend to all you chocolate lovers 😋

Ah, the kitchen table days... I've come a long way since then, Sarah! 😄🍫
But what hasn't changed is why I started doing this in the first place. I wanted to make proper chocolate for people who needed or wanted to cut down on sugar without giving up something they love.
So hearing about your husband's experience with his blood sugar levels genuinely means a lot to me.
I also love that you mentioned the communication. Even as the business has grown, I never want to lose that personal connection with the people buying my chocolate.
Thank you for being part of the journey, Sarah... and I'm delighted I've managed to make ordering chocolate feel a little less guilty! 😂

Milk, Mint AND Orange... Stanley, you're clearly not making this favourite-flavour decision easy for yourself! 😄🍫
I'm really pleased you're enjoying them. I put a lot of work into getting the flavours right while still letting the cocoa itself shine through.
And "very moreish" is always a dangerous compliment for a chocolate maker to receive! 😂
Thank you for your support, Stanley... enjoy the next few squares!

Lush chocolate and although it’s a stretch for my wallet, it is just a joy to chomp on. My favourite is still the Dubai but the Milk is the best for making keto cookies and muffins. I used to buy Lilys but now I’m a convert to DGF and I hope your business just keeps flourishing. Lovely if not the best customer service in the world! Charlotte

Now I'm wondering if I need to get hold of one of these keto cookies or muffins, Charlotte... using the Milk Chocolate for baking sounds dangerously good! 😂🍫
I really appreciate you mentioning the price too. I know my chocolate is a stretch for some people's budgets, which is why hearing you describe it as "a joy to chomp on" means such a lot.
And you've converted from Lily's to DGF... I'll take that as a serious compliment!
But possibly the loveliest part is what you've said about the customer service and hoping the business flourishes. I'm incredibly grateful for that support.
Thank you, Charlotte... and long may the Dubai Bar remain on top! 😊

Luxurious and guilt free delight
I've been ordering chocolate from Deliciously Guilt Free for about a year. Being diabetic regular chocolate is out of the question for me and my husband. We spent years trying other alternatives, which were ok, always a variation of dark, but didn't really hit the spot. Well this chocolate it a game changer; you can choose from a number of flavours. My favourite is the creamy milk and I also love the orange. They even do espresso occasionally which is the loveliest coffee chocolate we've ever tasted. We have 4 squares per day feel we've had an amazing treat. We usually order about 8 - 10 bars per month; yes it's more expensive than regular chocolate but is not mass produced and contains superior ingredients to other "sugar free", "keto" "suitable for diabetics" chocolate and most regular chocolate. I can honestly say that even if I could go back to eating normal chocolate I wouldn't. Deliciously Guilt Free chocolate is creamy and luxurious. It will always be my go to chocolate. As long as Dan still produces it we'll keep buying. Customer service is spot on. If I have a question the response is always prompt. They are friendly always helpful. The chocolate is made to order so you're always getting fresh and the team always keep you informed of order and dispatch progress complete with tracking. Once dispatched delivery is swift. If you want to reduce your sugar intake and love delicious chocolate I really recommend you give these guy a try. I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

Eight to ten bars a month for a year... Sarah, I think that officially makes you part of the DGF team! 😂🍫
What means the most to me here is you saying that even if you could go back to regular chocolate, you wouldn't. That's an incredible compliment because I've never wanted to make chocolate that's simply "good considering it has no added sugar"... I want to make genuinely great chocolate.
I love your four squares a day ritual too. A proper treat that actually leaves you feeling satisfied is exactly what I hoped to create.
Thank you as well for recognising what goes on behind the scenes... making it fresh, using quality ingredients and keeping that personal customer service as we've grown.
And don't worry... as long as you keep eating 8–10 bars a month, I'd better keep making the stuff! 😂
Thank you for a year of incredible support, Sarah. It genuinely means a lot to me and the team. But in particular me as I could have given up so many times but I kept going because lovely people like your good self supported my small business

The fact that you can feel the care that goes into your order means an enormous amount to me, Nicki. 😊
I know the handwritten letters take a little extra time, but I never want buying from DGF to feel like ordering from some huge, faceless chocolate company. There's a real person behind it who genuinely appreciates every order.
And of course, none of that matters unless the chocolate delivers too... so I'm very pleased it's hitting the spot when the sweet cravings strike! 🍫
Thank you for such kind words, Nicki. I really do appreciate your support.

There's something really special about chocolate taking you back to how you remember it tasting. 😊
That's what I'm trying to achieve... letting proper cocoa and cocoa butter do the talking rather than covering everything with loads of sugar and palm oil.
I'm so pleased it hit that nostalgic spot for you, Sherry... and knowing you'll be back for more is the best compliment I could ask for.
Thank you!

Do not buy if you have a dog
After waiting a long time for the product - It was delivered while I was out.
We own a dog and the packaging was not strong enough to deter our dog breaking in and eating 3 bars of chocolate - I now have a very sick dog and sick all over my house including my bed
To be honest the product is not worth the wait and cost - And now could kill my dog

Matt, I'm genuinely so sorry to hear your dog is unwell and I really hope he's OK.
Just to reassure you on one point, we don't use xylitol, the sweetener that is particularly dangerous to dogs. However, chocolate itself can of course be harmful to dogs, so please do speak to your vet urgently if you haven't already.
Your chocolate was sent inside our sealed cardboard postal box, but I'm very sorry your dog was able to get access to it after delivery.
On the delivery time, we do state a 3 to 5 working day turnaround as we make our chocolate by hand, so the order wasn't actually late. However, I completely appreciate that's rather beside the point when you're now worried about your dog.
We'll of course give you a full refund.
Most importantly, I genuinely hope your dog makes a speedy recovery. Please do let us know how he gets on.

I'm really sorry about this, Neil... and genuinely gutted that Royal Mail took so long to get your chocolate to you.
Just to clarify for anyone reading, we made and dispatched your order within our stated 3 to 5 working day turnaround. Unfortunately, after that it seems to have got stuck somewhere in Royal Mail's network for several days.
I'm not sure I'd quite give Royal Mail the full fortnight 😂... but I completely appreciate it must have felt like it!
I can see it's finally been delivered today, so I really hope you decide to give the chocolate a try after all that waiting. However, if you'd rather return it, that's absolutely fine too... send it back to us and we'll happily refund you.
Sorry again, Neil. We got it out on time, but ultimately you just wanted your chocolate... and I'm disappointed it took so long to reach you.

“Fantastic chocolate bar” is about as good a verdict as I could hope for, Craig. There’s a lot that goes into getting that combination of rich chocolate, flavour and texture just right, so it’s brilliant to hear you enjoyed it so much.
Thank you for giving it a try... and for taking the time to let me know!

WOW!!
WOW!!! This chocolate is absolutely amazing. It's smooth, tasty and smells gorgeous
I have steroids induced Diabetes and have struggled so much to find sweet treats that don't spike my blood sugars. This chocolate keeps them level but still gives me the chocolate hit that I've so missed in all the other sugar free chocolate brands out there I've tried.
I can taste the purity of the ingredients and find I don't need much to satisfy me.
Customer service is excellent, items are in pristine condition and delivery is quick.
I love the added touches, a letter from Dan the owner thanking me for my order, a WhatsApp group for help and support and regular money off coupons to make it even more affordable.
Thankyou Dan

WOW right back at you, Donna! 😊 What a wonderful review to read.
Knowing you've tried so many sugar free chocolates and have finally found one that gives you that proper chocolate hit again means a huge amount to me. And I'm especially pleased to hear about your own experience with your blood sugar levels after eating it.
The fact that you can taste the quality of the ingredients makes me smile too. We put a lot of care into what goes into every bar... and deliberately leave out things like added sugar and palm oil.
And thank you for mentioning the little personal touches. We're still a small family business, and I never want us to lose that connection with the people buying our chocolate.
Thank you, Donna... I'm so pleased you found us! 🍫

What an amazing chocolate company
What an amazing chocolate company. Finally delicious chocolate products that are Keto friendly, that don’t affect your blood sugar levels. The team at Deliciously Guilt Free are producing quality chocolate products. I won’t buy chocolate from anywhere else. Forget the big brands, they taste of sugar and fat. I’m converted. Well done to Dan and his team!

“I won’t buy chocolate from anywhere else”... Amanda, you've just made a small chocolate company VERY happy! 😄🍫
I love that you've made the comparison with the big brands too. We want the cocoa to be the star of the show, using proper cocoa butter and quality ingredients rather than loading everything with sugar and palm oil.
And knowing you've found a keto friendly chocolate that works so well for you and your blood sugar levels is wonderful to hear.
I'll make sure the team sees this one too... they put so much care into every batch and deserve the praise!
Thank you for becoming a convert, Amanda. We'll keep the chocolate coming!

Outstanding
Once you've had this chocolate you realise how sweet and sickly the major brands are. Proper tasting chocolate that isn't made for chewing, just let it melt in the mouth.

You've absolutely got the technique, Nigel... don't chew it, just let it slowly melt! 🍫
Because we use proper cocoa butter, letting the chocolate melt on your tongue is when all those rich cocoa flavours really start to come through.
And you're right about the sweetness too. Once your taste buds adjust to chocolate without loads of added sugar, going back to some mainstream bars can be quite a shock!
Really pleased you're enjoying what we're making... and "outstanding" is a compliment I'll happily take.
Thank you, Nigel.

For me, proper chocolate should actually taste of cocoa rather than sugar being the main event. So hearing that you've tasted the difference and don't want to go back is a huge compliment.
