I was really pleased to stumble across Deliciously Guilt Free chocolate. It’s rare to find something that actually tastes like proper chocolate and doesn’t send my blood sugars all over the place. The flavour is smooth, rich, and genuinely satisfying — nothing “diet” or “compromise” about it. I was so impressed after my first try that I signed up for a subscription straight away. It’s become an easy, reliable treat I can enjoy without worrying about spikes.

The bit that really means a lot to me, Pete, is that you don't see it as "diet" chocolate or a compromise. That's exactly what I wanted to create... proper, rich chocolate that just happens to have no added sugar.

Had paid nearly £50 for 4 bars of chocolate. 48 hour tracked delivery.
Delivery never came after 5 days, offered a refund or another shipment. Requested refund, royal mail returned to sender.
Not a luxury experience, can't rate the chocolate. Was a present for someone. Don't do luxury high end if the experience can't match the price.

I'm genuinely sorry this didn't feel like the experience you were expecting, Luke... especially as the chocolate was intended as a present.
There does seem to have been a misunderstanding around the delivery timing though. We make every single bar by hand from the raw ingredients after you order. At the point your order is placed, your chocolate is still cacao, cocoa butter and the other ingredients waiting to become a bar!
Because of that, our website clearly states a 3 to 5 working day turnaround before dispatch. So at five days, your order was still within the timeframe we quote.
The 48 hour tracked service refers to Royal Mail once the chocolate has been made and dispatched.
If you ever need an order for a particular date, please just ask. We regularly prioritise orders when customers tell us they're for birthdays or gifts, and we'd happily use Tracked 24 where needed.
I'm genuinely sorry you never got to taste the chocolate. We absolutely want the experience to match the quality and price... but making genuinely high quality chocolate by hand does take a little time, which is why we try to be very clear about that upfront.

P.S. For the benefit of others reading this - Luke ordered on the 17th Aug and we sent it 4 working days later 21st Aug. Royal Mail was unable to deliver it to him and he recommended me swap service to DPD (not sure if RM has an issue in his area). We offered a new delivery or a refund and he choose a refund. We try our best and we can't please everyone but at least you have the full story now. Dan

I have been recently diagnosed as pre diabetic and ever since then, i thought thats it i can't eat chocolate until I found this place advertised online which they sell chocolates without all that added sugar so i thought why not try their chocolate out and i actually bought my first four pack of mixed chocolates from them. Once, it came and i tried my first bite. The flavour is just absolutely amazing and delicious, taste and smells just like real chocolate and just to think it hasn't even cause my blood sugar to spike either is just unbelievable. Thank you Dan and the team for making and selling such amazing chocolate, definitely will be ordering more for sure.

Thinking "that's it, I can't eat chocolate anymore" must have been such a disappointing feeling... which makes the rest of your review even lovelier to read.
That's exactly the problem I wanted DGF to solve. Chocolate should still feel like proper chocolate... rich, delicious and something you genuinely look forward to eating, just without all the added sugar.

A diabetic chocoholic’s dream!
This is proper chocolate with a real cocoa flavour, which I decided to try as I am type 2 diabetic.
I used to be addicted to the big British brand but, since trying DGF chocolate I have realised how fake the big brand tastes!
I had the pack of four and honestly cannot pick a favourite.
Definitely Delicious, definitely Guilt Free and definitely worth every penny!

What you've said about actually tasting the cocoa really matters to me. I wanted to make proper chocolate where cocoa is the star, rather than loads of sugar and palm oil doing the heavy lifting.
And as someone living with type 2 diabetes, knowing you've found chocolate you genuinely love again is exactly what DGF is all about.

Reminded me how chocolate should taste! Rich and filling, you don’t need to eat so much (but can). The products that are on most grocery shelves today are loaded with sugar.

One thing I hoped people would rediscover with our chocolate is what chocolate actually tastes like when cocoa is allowed to shine, rather than sugar taking centre stage.
I also love your point about not needing to eat as much. That's one of the biggest compliments we receive... a few squares can genuinely satisfy the craving instead of sending you back for another bar half an hour later.

Delicious chocolate.
Unlike mass produced chocolate these bars are full of good quality ingredients.
I’m not diabetic or on a keto diet. My bother in law, who is diabetic, introduced me to the brand.
Yes, they are expensive, but a little goes a long way. Where as commercial brands are full of sugar and oils from dubious sources (corn/palm) that make them very easy to over eat (I know, I could polish off a bar in one sitting!)
These bars are super tasty and you feel fully satisfied with just a few pieces. The range of flavours are mouth watering.

I love that you don't need to be diabetic or keto to appreciate what we're making. Sometimes you just want really good chocolate made with really good ingredients.
And you've absolutely nailed something we hear again and again... a few squares genuinely satisfy you. Proper cocoa butter and rich cocoa flavour make it a very different experience from polishing off a sugar-heavy bar and still wanting more!

I want the cocoa to be what you actually taste, rather than sugar being the main event with a little chocolate hiding somewhere underneath.
Proper cocoa butter, quality ingredients and no added sugar... just chocolate that tastes like chocolate.

I love chocolate but I have type 1 diabetes so now I can enjoy chocolate without having to give myself an insulin shot.
It taste great and also I have become aware of seed oils being used in popular brands so Deliciously Guilt free delivers on both counts no sugar spike and no seed oils .

Quality Chocolate ( Need I say more!)!
The chocolate is very tasty and sugar free which is a bonus.
There customer service matches the quality of their chocolate.
Royal Mail decided to leave my latest order on my doorstep in full afternoon sun instead of in the shade behind a large planter. Needless to say my order was in liquid form. After complaining to Royal Mail, I emailed Deliciously Guilt Free to let them know what had happed to my order and they were quick to respond They also were kind enough to send a replacement order.
I'm still waiting on a response from Royal Mail! And if you literally have a hot package left on your doorstep, take photo's when opening!

I'm really sorry your bars ended up spending the afternoon sunbathing, Martin, but I'm glad we were able to get things sorted quickly and send you a replacement.
Things occasionally go wrong that are outside our control, but how we look after someone when they do is absolutely within our control. So your comment that our customer service matches the quality of the chocolate means a great deal.
And that's actually very good advice about taking photos too!

Quality and a personal touch
I thought the hand written letter and personalised welcome for first order was a nice touch. I started eating dark chocolate due to various health benefits, which are interesting if you look them up, but wanted a product that was better quality, which I believe this is. Thanks Dan, Regards Deborah

Everything about this Chocolate is divine. The authentic cacao flavour outshines anything else on the market. Orange Chocolate is a real weakness of mine and the fact that there are so many delicious flavours to choose from is a real bonus. This Chocolate tastes like love, it's the next best thing to drinking real ceremonial cacao.
The personal little touches, from the hand written letters, to the WhatsApp messages from the founder Dan, make it all the more special. The experience is one of, buying from friends rather than industrial corporations. I love that.
I have searched high and low for a genuine product like this.

I loved reading your comparison to ceremonial cacao because that's exactly where I wanted the flavour to come from... real cocoa, proper cocoa butter and quality ingredients, rather than loads of sugar masking everything else.
It's also lovely to hear you noticed the little touches. As we've grown, I've always wanted people to feel like they're buying from real people, not a faceless corporation. Reading that it feels more like buying from friends is probably one of the biggest compliments you could give us.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news! I have backstabbed flake in the back after having deliciously guilt free milk Chocolate. Unfortunately, I finished it. I tried mini eggs in ice cream not the same put off then I tried My used to be favourite flake not the same so sweet more like sweat😂🤣

Everyone I highly recommend this Chocolate because you will be put off all the other chocolates and you will change your favourite Chocolate like I’ve done.

I have to admit, this made me laugh.
What you've described is something I hear quite a lot. Once people get used to chocolate that's made with proper cocoa butter and no added sugar, going back to very sweet mainstream chocolate can be a bit of a shock.
I'm sorry to hear your old favourites didn't survive the comparison... although I'm secretly rather pleased! 😄

Pleasantly surprised by these bars. As a chocoholic i wanted something to satisfy my habit, but with less sugar. I do like a dark chocolate too that lingers. Now, whilst these bars dont give you a mighty sweet hit, they dont half linger in the mouth. 4 squares with a cuppa in the evening is enough. And they dont make you want something sweet again half an hour later. Brilliant!

I really enjoyed reading this, Clive... especially your description of the chocolate lingering in the mouth.
That's exactly what proper cocoa butter does. It melts more slowly than many mainstream chocolates, so you get to enjoy the cocoa flavour for much longer.
I also smiled at "four squares with a cuppa." That sounds like a pretty perfect evening to me! 😄
The best part, though, is what you said about not craving something else half an hour later. That's exactly what I hoped our low carb, no added sugar chocolate would do... satisfy the craving, rather than fuel it.
