I placed order in hopes it would be here before I left for sturgis told 3-5 business days end, being 7-10. call back after placing the order & got tracking # for ramp, told they would cancel straps and anchor order & try to do same 4 ramp, labeled, not shipped. no email follow up as told. all 3 showed up after 3-5 day window. now going to cost me over$900 to ship back...worst company ever!!

Discount Ramps stole my $286 and because Fed Ex couldn't deliver it - it was 7 ft long - they sent it to their HQ for me to pick up in Cocoa. But the brilliant "customer service team" at Discount Ramps told Fed Ex to return it to them so they could steal $90 of the $286, claiming it was a return fee. They hang up on you every time you call!

Would give zero stars if able.
Searching for a riser for my Mobility chair carrier and was led to Direct Ramp's as a choice due to the specifications required and the fact that they were a recommended supplier of mobility products. I chose them as they had the product that met my needs and were offering best price on product. In choosing with price being a deciding factor followed Direct Ramps link to Buy the product to find out it was listed as "Temporarily Out of Stock". Not no longer available or any other indicator that in a worst-case scenario
would later be available at "The Normal" price from which it was reduced. Went back to site to see if had been restocked and it had not. I then decided to check if they had comparable products available. I found the exact same product in-stock but at 47.00 dollars above the claimed listed price (90.00 above discounted price). This is worse than Bait and switch as they did not even try to switch but rather lure in with a pricing they had no intention of delivering on.

They steal your money and never deliver the product. After 24 days I finally got PART of the money refunded. The item was $281.46. They took over 3 wks to refund only $191.46, with NO EXPLANATION. When you call to talk about it, all they say is “the money was refunded to your bank and if you don’t get it, it’s because they’re holding it.” (BS!) But my bank never holds any money, especially not over three weeks.

This is a horrible company that lies to people and steals their money and has absolutely no customer service but if you actually are able to get a live human being on the phone, all they do is lie to you. I would suggest never ordering anything from them EVER! Worst company out there!

We bought a mobility scooter carrier. It was a piece of junk. I replaced 6 of the double pins to hold the ramp. The last pin broke while we were driving and the ramp fell to the ground and was completely demolished.

SCAM they charge you double the price to ship them back if something is wrong w them. DONT ORDER THEM FROM HERE

So here's the good. The Discount Ramps website is easy to use with a wide variety of products. The purchasing process is simple enough, with fairly quick notification of your order.
Here's where my experience went south. I placed my order, received the confirmation/shipping info. A couple of days passed and I placed a separate order for an accessory product to go with the original order.
I received the confirmation/shipping email.
After several days, the accessory showed up on my doorstep, but not the first order. I checked the tracking info. and it showed the item as delivered.
Upon further examination of the emails, I found that the items both had the same tracking number. I called customer service to try and figure out how this happened, get some type of resolution. For the next three days, I got the run-around. Finally got an email with the photo of the accessory delivery on my porch, and a "the item was delivered."
I had to send a response threatening legal action, BBB reporting to get them to send out the product I originally ordered. All they had to do was verify the information I provided, and look at the picture they provided me.
I did get the original order finally, but the whole incident could have been avoided if the original customer service rep. had just verified the tracking information.
In my opinion, you're rolling the dice if you do business with this company.

SCAM AND DISHONEST HUMANS...do NOT trust this site for a return or honest website / product info. I fell for their bait-n-switch when they decidedly told me "my item isn't eligible for return". NOTHING ON THE SITE INDICATED MY RAMP WAS NOT RETURNABLE - I WOULD NEVER BUY A NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCT, ESPECIALLY ONLINE - EVER! These folks are dishonest and do NOT deserve your business. OH...if they actually do tell you they will take the product back, prepare to spend at LEAST 1/2 the purchase price on shipping it back to them! This place SUCKS and will CHEAT YOU....STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAMS!!!

Ordered two solid aluminum threshold ramps for my in laws after one of them fell and was wheelchair bound. Initially received a cheaper version (25 less) and wrong width so unusable. Customer service said they would ship the correct ones asap. Received the ones I ordered but the height was not 4” as described it was about 1/2” higher so doors would not close. Again unusable. Company said I had to pay to return them and pay a restock fee. Not even worth returning. Will donate to a VA charity or hospice and order from a reputable company. Would not recommend this site to anyone.

Be very careful with these people. I placed an order that arrived with several defective parts. I called them several days later, and they kept giving me the runaround. They even asked me for photos on two different occasions, and I, innocently and without even imagining what they were doing, didn’t notify my bank. So when they stopped responding to my emails, I decided to call the bank, and that’s when they explained to me that after 30 days nothing could be done. And that’s exactly what they wrote to me by email when my bank opened the case—in other words, they cleverly wasted my time only to later get away with it.

Two rear support welds broke. the welds are so small with minimum pentation. The supports are part of a roller ramp for our pontoon. These supports are the first supports when loading the pontoon. The quality control department must be non existent.
This could be a liability lawsuit waiting to happen if there would be bodily injuries!
Great idea? yes
Better engineering is need for extra gusset support and larger welds.
There are several other supports with larger welds.
These welds are showing signs of stress cracks.
Improvements are needed to prevent total ramp collapsing causing extensive damage and bodily injuries!

I am embarrassed for you guys. I want to caution others to avoid this horrible experience. I purchased 2 bike racks 30 days before a mega trip. 12 days later I get a call (they are in the same state my purchase). We are sorry, there is only 1 left in stock so we will reimburse half. I have a trip planned and that put a crimp in it, but poo happens. I will figure out a plan B for the other bike rack, and I still have 18 days to do it. 20 days later, I finally call because they still have not shipped it. I was told she would look into it and call or email the new status. 22 days later I call again... A week before my trip now.. We have none in stock and your purchase will be reimbursed. No offer of alternate bike racks, no here is a discount for our errors, not even we are sorry we suck. I would have gladly purchased something else even with this experience... STAY AWAY!

First phone call went south seconds after Ray spoke. Very rude, overtalks, very vague in his communication skills. Sounded like he has zero time and tried to force products that I clearly didn't need or asked for. We'll Ray you lost a commission of this sale and I will make it known to everyone I know how I was treated. A US Vet disabled with losing both legs and how I was treated I'd fire "Ray" immediately. Losing money bigtime if ya keep him. I know I'm glad I didn't spend a dime with your company. $5000-$6000 sale lost simply for being so damn Rude.

This is a terrible company to do business with when you need to return a product that did not meet the spec’s advertised. We ordered a motorcycle ramp that should hold 600 lbs—not even close! Do to return it, they charge you the shipping fee plus you have to pay to ship it back on your own! Most companies will at least get you a prepaid postage label with their company discount! So, we are stuck with a brand new ramp that cost $220! If we return it, we pay the $40 shipping to us and whatever it costs us to return it with no company discount! The estimate was over $75! Do not do business unless you are certain what you need! And, it also wouldn’t fit on the back of our RV, which it was advertised due to the bumper on the RV! It would probably fit on a pick-up truck! Just bad business with this company! Regret this purchase so very much so do not believe their advertising!

Ordered snowmobile ramps for my ATV. Paid for the cheapest delivery and had them delivered within 3 days. Ramps are nice. Little expensive but will work great.

The website is hard to navigate and they make you pay to exchange an order. They're not very helpful with assistance in finding the right product. Don't waste your money here, buy elsewhere. In order to return an item it would cost me over $30, when that is around the same cost as the item. Buy from Amazon or elsewhere.

Just terrible. Ordered a roof rack that they said fit my van and it came nowhere close to fitting. When I went to return the item, the cost to ship it back to them was more than the product itself. Total waste of money ripoff.

I bought product and they send me something that doesn't fit. They don't answer any of my emails and are refusing to send me correct item . Do not trust this place they will rip you off just like they did me.noyhing but thieves

I was very excited about my new Cruiser-lift for the back of my motorhome. Took the website to my mechanic and with the information there he said he was pretty sure it could be installed and he didn't see any issues. So I dropped the $7K for the Cruiser-lift and waited very excitedly for it to show up. Once I received it, I took it down to my mechanic. He tried every way he could think of to make it work but it could not be installed. I contacted Discount Ramps and asked If I could return it they told me no. So I asked if I could swap it out for a ramp that could go in the back of my truck, they once again said no. so here I sit with a useless pile of metal and a very rude company that If I would have known how they treat customers I would have NEVER purchased anything from them. And no one around my town will buy anything from them either, too many better options. lol

Quality shed ramp. Well-manufactured, solid materials, well packaged, and fast shipping. Very impressed overall. Don’t let the negative reviews persuade your decision to not use this company.
