When I had my first consultation I was struggling. Really struggling and on my knees. I have now completed my consultations and now feel 100% better. The consultant Pete Downer was absolutely fantastic and helpful throughout. Always parting advice in a good way. Never lecturing just advising. 💯 recommend

I had my assessment and diagnosis through diverse diagnostics a few months ago and I am now going through medication titration. I have spent all of my life struggling with feeling too much, different to others and being diagnosed or assessed for a variety of mental health disorders. After speaking with GP and mental health nurse having exhausted all other possibilities and coping mechanisms and unable to cope with the mental noise and sleep disturbance any longer (perimenopause definitely made it impossible) i decided to look at a private assessment for ADHD as too many of my symptoms fitted. I cannot fault the service provided here. Everyone Has been helpful and supportive throughout. In addition I recently had my 12 year old daughters school flag concerns which I am not surprised about at given my recent diagnosis (and my oldest daughters clear undiagnosed ADHD) which resulted in a referral to CAMHS. With a waiting list of now 4 years, we have decided to have her assessed through diverse diagnostics also as we are confident with their services.

I was made to feel at ease on my consultation and really understood.
The communication is great and really fast.
My next steps are my assessment which I received really fast compared to what the nhs is like.

I thoroughly recommend Diverse Diagnostics for adult ADHD diagnosis and treatment.

The team are extremely friendly, and clearly understand neurodiversity. The forms and emails are a clear reflection of this, designed not to overwhelm but provide clear and unambiguous facts.

I initially scheduled a 15 minute screening call where the team recommended I continue with a full assessment. I was booked in for my appointment a month later. My consultant was brilliant and listened to everything I said, helping me to expand on areas I felt I couldn’t thoroughly explain. I received my diagnosis and a comprehensive report which will satisfy any future queries my employers, the NHS, or anyone else will have.

Following this, I decided to pursue treatment via medication. I was listened to throughout, and Laura clearly understands my individual struggles recommending one medication over another and explaining why my answers led her to this conclusion. I completely agreed with her explanation and felt confident with the decision. It was helped that all the team are extremely personable, relating their own life experience where appropriate to yours, which helped me to build trust and confidence in their expertise.

I’ve only just started a course of treatment but I know that Diverse Diagnostics will be there to support me throughout.

What I will say is that diagnosis and treatment is not cheap. I knew this going in but would be remised if I didn’t mention that you should only seek this treatment option if you have a few hundred quid in disposable cash every month, or confidence that your GP will take you on via shared care.

In any case, I am very happy with my experience with Diverse Diagnostic and grateful to them for helping to change my life!

Had my introductory call with Jennifer. She was so kind and supportive and talked me through the whole process of being assessed for ADHD. She was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information during the call and in a follow-up email.

Excellent clinical assessment and thoughtful recommendations. The report provided significant reassurance and a clear roadmap for support. The only disappointment was that the report arrived later than anticipated, which reduced its usefulness during an important examination period.

Response to email good and ordering prescriptions straight forward.

I was less impressed with the psychiatrist we saw at the beginning and Lawrence really did not enjoy talking with him. He did not involve lawrence in the discussions. He’s a report was brief and Inaccurate in places. We felt he had not thoroughly listened to us.

From the initial free consultation and throughout the whole process, every member of staff i came across were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole process so simple for myself and my daughter. Although we were seeking a private diagnosis, the focus was on doing what was best for my daughter and not the clinic "money grabbing" like the common perception of private practice. This was a big deal for my daughter at age 10 but she actually came out of her appointments feeling happy! Could not recommend Diverse Diagnostics enough!

Deianira was very helpful when I had questions about the process and forms. It’s been a helpful experience overall selecting the relevant option to go for and understanding what’s involved.

I’ve had my last two medication review appointments with Pete Downer and they’ve been really helpful. As someone who really understands ADHD from personal experience, his advice feels very relatable and easy to apply. I thought I was stuck with the side effects of my medications, but it’s been reassuring to learn there are ways to manage things better when someone genuinely wants to help. I really appreciate his support and would definitely recommend him.

Diverse Diagnostics supported my daughter right up until her ongoing care was transferred to the NHS, and throughout the whole process we found them excellent.
