Refund not received ..... 17 days after cancellation!
I had to cancel a policy. 17 days later, on checking my account, no refund! I called Doddle Cover after an auto-reply email notified me that this particular method of communication was taking a along time to process and that I would be better off calling them. Unfortunately, there is always a long long delay to speak to any anyone - be prepared for this - so I called to check of its whereabouts. When I eventually got through, I received no apology or explanation on behalf of the company, apart from there was a delay in the payment; some delay! Of particular note, the representative had not spoken to anyone to confirm this, so I wonder what would have happened if I had not noticed this discrepancy on my account!
Further to the reply from Doddle below, when I received my refund, it was, unbelievably, £50 less than we had paid! I then had to waste another hour of my time waiting to speak to someone to discuss the discrepancy! Let's see what happens next week as apparently there are no managers at the weekend and the refund department is not open!

We’re really sorry for the delay in processing your refund and for the difficulty you experienced contacting us. This was an error on our part and we completely understand your concern that it was only identified after you contacted us. As a safeguard we do reconcile accounts monthly so this would have been picked up there but we acknowledge this is far too long to wait for a refund.
Again we can only apologise and we hope you think about giving us another try to do better in the future.
