Incredible Customer Service / Hosting + Cost!
Incredible hosting, with probably the best customer service I've ever experienced. Any questions, simply open a ticket and they respond to you incredibly quickly, and even sort most issues out their end.
Can't recommend enough, and top of this, the pricing is super cheap for what you receive too.

This business solves problems almost immediately and tickets are dealt with usually within the hour. I can also, if required, speak to a human which is something you can't do on some sites. All in all a good service

I contacted Eco Hosting following a recent email regarding forthcoming pricing structure which would have had a detrimental effect to us.
Spoke to a very pleasant chap called Tak who spent some considerable time looking at our usage and came up with a plan that meant that our account wouldn't be financially affected, so very pleased with the outcome.

Eco hosting has been amazing to work with over the years I have been with them. Any issue I have with the technical side, they are very quick and efficient at sorting them out. And the price is very comptetitive too.
And the very structure of the company is actually appealing to me also, as it seems they are not driven by profit, but to actually help the earth as well. Amazing.

I have been very impressed with Eco Hosting's help when a random website interfered with my emails and blocked them. When I checked this out on google I discovered that many people had found themselves on this company's list and could not find ways to get in touch with this site to clear their IP address from this list. However, Ecohosting were able to help me to resolve this problem and I am very grateful because this had become a big problem for me, particularly when I discovered that so many other people had the same problem and could not resolve it. In my case Ecohosting acted promptly and sorted it.Whenever I need to phone them they are always helpful and friendly

Great Service
I have been using eco hosting for the past 4 years and have never had any issues. I highly recommend them. Only caveat is they updated the pricing of their tiers with only two weeks till the next renewal. Price increases are to be accepted in the current climate but I think they couldve been rolled out better.

We moved all our hosting and domains from Fasthost to Ecohosting. Ecohosting have been Very helpful by migrating our websites and email services for free. The prices are very reasonable. The ticket support have always dealt with any problems promptly. A very friendly and professional company to deal with.

Eco hosting not only offers environmental friendly and easy way to my own business website, but their service has also always been exceptional and outstanding!
They always reply quickly and have always solved any issues that occurred.
Have used their Hosting services for several years
Have used their Hosting services for several years now and found that when a problem occurs (very infrequently) their on-line customer service usually sorts it very quickly with the minimum of fuss.
Now taking them to County Court
Now taking them to County Court. Their servers are not fit for purpose. We have have months and months of emails not working because their servers are frequently blocked. Customer service staff send ridiculous replies trying to deny and, in my opinion, blatantly lie about the reasons for services not working. A favourite of theirs is trying to blame issues on users. Only when you systematically disprove and refuse every single spurious reason they give as to why things aren't working will they then come clean and tell you the truth - that their servers are basically always blocked. In addition to that, I now have a company site totally going down as the server has failed. I previously managed to get a ticket escalated to an Ecohosting Company director - only after threatening Court action. They refused to offer a refund for the time that their service wasn't working, but eventually agreed to provide a refund for unused time ahead. I thought this was unreasonable, but couldn't be bothered with the argument and had already resolved to move to a new company. Between then and getting a move underway the who server has gone down. I have now requested the Ecohosting Director to contact me back as I am now losing money and potential search rankings as a result of their dysfunctional services. I will again request a full refund, reflective that their services are not fit for purpose. If it is not offered then I will take them to court with, now, a whole dossier of evidence.

Their server is seen as spam and they don't bother to read my fault tickets
Ecohosting used to be excellent but I'm really disappointed at how much their service has gone downhill. I used to recommend them but I can't do that any more.
Last year there were a number of occasions where I couldn't send emails as they were blocked by spamhaus. Apparently, if I was unhappy the way to resolve it was to pay Eco Hosting more money to have a private IP address. It happened so often it began to feel like they were trying to scam me into spending more.
It's been fine for about five months but it's started happening again. Despite me reporting the problem they never let me know when it's been resolved (the only way I know is to keep trying to send emails until it starts working again),
Having had the same issue again today I said don't sent me the same copy and paste explanation again, I know what the problem is and guess what, they sent me the exact same copy and paste explanation. You'll find other reviewers on here saying they don't bother to read customer's reports properly. It's true.

Disaster, cowboys
Disaster. Shame. Catastrophe. Cowboys. LAYERS!!!!!!!!! Main problem was an email server. I realised I was not getting some emails. Spam folder was empty. My email address is almost 20 years old and I expect to get dozens spam email a day. I realised that I was not getting emails from gov (!!!) domains, banks etc. Then they told me (liars!) that their system has not stopped any email. My spam folder was empty for months! Then, after some fights with the cowboys, they did something and I started receiving* emails from my friends, from suppliers, from banks, from NHS, from internet providers in spam folder. I do ot use webmail, I use outlook so I had to move them from spam folder first to receive them. I kept marking them as not spam, but "not spam" feature was not doing anything, next day the same emails were landing in spam folder again. Now, the best bit is when I was sending emails to some people, I was receiving info that I AM a spammer - of course IP of the hosting was blocked, it was not me. I moved away from them.
Cost effective and good service
Opened my Eco Hosting account just 10 days ago and have since transferred three domains, re-configured email services/forwarders and everything's working well. (No web sites at the current time) Tickets relating to domain transfers and enabling 2FA on cPanel were answered quickly and succintly. The documentation on the domain transfer process could be improved (I was starting with the transferor) but otherwise no problems. In summary, very pleased so far and would recommend for cost-effective hosting.
