Police evidence bag x 5 £99

It’s a risk buying this so I was fully prepared for it to be a load of toot, but we got TWO iPads (need repairing), sunglasses, game controller, sandwich maker, headphones and some makeup. It was fun to open it up and luckily we weren’t disappointed.

Misleading “Police Evidence Bag” Mystery Boxes and Dissolved Company Concerns

Misleading “Police Evidence Bag” Mystery Boxes and Dissolved Company Concerns

I purchased the “Police-Seized Goods Evidence Bag” from EcoStock Solutions in October 2025 after seeing it advertised via a Crimewatch UK–branded post on Facebook. The advert claimed these were genuine police-seized items released for resale after investigations — potentially containing high-end tech, jewellery, and other luxury goods.

What I actually received was a mix of low-value retail items:
• Foster Grant Recircurl 8 (£12 retail value)
• Yellow Diamond Textured Kettle from Asda (£13.97, marked as a faulty return)
• Faulty Beexcellent GM-8 headset
• Unused makeup testers and false eyelashes
• Non-working Apple iPad 4th Gen (A1458)

All of these arrived in unsealed KeepSafe bags — not in genuine police evidence bags, despite the product being marketed as “police-seized goods sold as received.”

The items were clearly not police-seized or “as described,” which is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

When I investigated further, I discovered that “EcoStock Solutions Ltd” was dissolved in 2015, yet the Facebook page and Shopify website still trade under that name. This raises serious questions about the legitimacy of the business.

Their refund policy also attempts to deny statutory rights, stating that returns for damaged or faulty items are not accepted — something that is unlawful under UK consumer law.

My advice: Avoid this company. The products are not as advertised, the company name appears to belong to a dissolved entity, and the marketing claims are highly misleading.

The Ballad of the Bamboozled Buyer

A warning to all honest folk who tread upon the path of commerce!

Let it be known throughout the realm that Ecostock Solutions be naught but a den of deceit and false promises. I did lay forth my silver in good faith, hoping for wares of use and worth, yet what I received was but trinkets of folly, fit neither for man nor beast.

Their words were sweet as mead, yet their deeds sour as spoiled milk. Never have I encountered such knavery wrapped in fair speech. Spare thy coin, good patron, and steer clear of this blighted marketplace, lest thou too fall prey to their wretched schemes.

Mark my words: Ecostock Solutions doth deal in disappointment.

Unbelievable Jeff

Unbelievable Jeff! Can’t believe i fell for it.. total waste of money.. i spent £99 on “police seized goods”. I’m now sat here feeling pretty stupid.
I received a pair of ladies shoes, a broken temu remote controlled car (wheel snapped off), a used iron (complete with limescale), a box of lego (heart shaped flower reef) probably worth a tenner. And a 1st generation google pixel watch face (yup just the face.. you should have seen mine), no strap or charger..
DO NOT RISK IT, i’d have preferred a chocolate biscuit.

Stay well clear

As said before this doesn’t deserve 1 star, I wish I’d read the reviews before buying from these, bought 10 undelivered parcels and an unclaimed suitcase. 10 items were not worth £5 never mind £99 they charge, all the items would probably cost less than £5 off Temu or Etsy. Low class rubbish. Definitely stay away from buying from here. I also bought a suitcase and it had been opened and looked through before being sent to me. Again total scam so be warned. Don’t buy from here and save your money. It’s definitely not a bargain from these. Stay well clear as you won’t get a refund for your purchase

Awful Police evidence bags

I have ordered the Police evidence bags after seeing a review or online ad which showed a person getting all kinds of gadgets. silly of me to think this was legitimate.

I paid £99.00 and received the parcel 5 days later.
The parcel contained the below..

- women’s clothes ( around 6 tops from river island )
- Marble Mug
- two golf balls
- Childs England football with shin pads
- broken Motorola phone
- broken iPhone 7 with extreme cracked screen
- iPad (unknown model) - I believe this is one of the first ever models. this is in ok condition however it’s over 10 years old.

After receiving the items and looking at the value of the items, it’s clear the whole parcel is worth no more than £30. Maybe less given the fact that the electronics are all broken and are in no fit state to be fixed or sold on.

Considering these were supposed to be evidence bags, none were sealed and appeared to be new bags, ie someone is clearly sorting these bags and placing certain items in each of them. I would therefore believe that it’s very unlikely you would receive anything of any value.

Given the amount the company is requesting, ie £99, I do not believe it’s worth anyones money.

I understand you can’t expected the items to be worth anything every time or to be some what decent, however I would have liked to at least seen a few extra products inside the parcel to make it worth my money and time.

I would also state that these companies should not be placing broken electronics inside.
The iPad and iPhone should be the most valued items and if they worked, would have been value for money. However they are so broken and old that you can’t sell them on and to pay to fix it would cost a silly amount of money. I believe I wouldn’t get any money for these items even if I took them into a CEX or similar store as they would be rejected for the damage and age of the products.

This review is not a moan as I fully expected this would not be worth the money paid, however it’s here to show other people looking to purchase that it’s a waste of time and to save your cash.

It was fun and games while it lasted.

Avoid. Scammers

Claiming to sell police evidence bags but in reality its a box of charity shop crap. All broken and unusable. Goods, if you can call them that are but placed in unsealed plastic bags claiming to be evidence. I got bike locks with no keys and a few toys. Probably about £5 worth of stuff for £100. Avoid at all costs

Guaranteed loss of money

Guaranteed loss of money. I spent £100 on Police Evidence bags (seized property). The website image shows a lot of luxury but the reality is you get s**t.
I got a teddy from Temu (£5), some amazon sunglasses (£10), flip flops (£0), an Asda iron (£10) and a 1st generation IPad Air (£20). I am sure the police wouldn't bother seizing this stuff and I am also sure this place is a scam. Evidence bags all new and opened. Save your money.
