This is the second agency we have used for live-in carers for my frail Mum.
Compared to the first agency, the carers themselves are similar; kind and attentive women.
The difference is in the admin; this agency uses online resources so that I can get a quick overview of what is going on, although it can be complex to interpret.
If there is a particular problem, the agency or carer will phone me. If I call them, they respond quickly.

We just wanted to say a huge 'Thank you' to everyone at Edyn Care for the level of care that you provided for Mum, which enabled her to stay in her own home for much longer than we ever thought possible.

The carers that were allocated to her went above and beyond any expectations that we ever had for her, and we will always be grateful to the whole team for all the care & support shown throughout our time with you.

I have employed the services of several other care agencies for my elderly parents but Edyn.Care have proved to be better than them all. Their whole philosophy is different. The others 'said' that they cared but in the end I still had to do alot of the caring for my parents myself (from 2 hours away) and I even had to manage the carers as they had very little guidance or support. It was with great relief then that I found Edyn.Care to be genuine, experienced and throrough in their care service and I was then able to step back and finally focus on with my own job again.
I don't know how they do this but Edyn.Care seem to attract a much higher quality of carer in my opinion and whilst expecting high standards from them they also look after them well which I think helps to make them feel valued. This is essential in a job where the challenges can be high and the job satisfaction variable!
The carers who have looked after my parents have formed strong bonds with them and we have been delighted by their dedication and humanity. The only hiccup we had was a case of a misunderstanding over a text and when I called Edyn.Care to query it, I received an reply within 30 minutes and the issue was resolved that same morning. This gives me completely trust and faith in them and I would recommend Edyn.Care wholeheartedly to anyone wanting care for their loved ones.

Edyn were the only 24/7 carer company who did a site review of my mother and the suitability of her home. To my mind this put them streets ahead of their competitors in terms of my confidence to satisfactorily carry our the care of my mother.

I would have given them top marks but the profile they wrote has some minor errors and they did not record the passing of my father although they were informed.

The carer we selected is everything we hoped for and my mother has quickly bonded with her at a very difficult time.

A wise friend told me recently that I have to accept that I am in the last quartile of my life, brutal but honest and to survive we have to source the best help
And so it came to pass that I joined my husband in Mauritius and had a dreadful fall onto concrete smashing my femur. After 2 horrendous operations in which they inserted rods coils and wires I managed to return to Gatwick and as I was carried on the ambulance I felt finally safe.

Subsequent to my my third operation to correct the mess my Consultant recommended Clavadel house... another safe haven. 24 hour staff on call. Superb levels of care
On my return to London with my husband still in Mauritius I searched for a Care agency .

The first one was a total disaster and then I came across Edyncare who have again made me feel very safe. They are very careful to match clients to Carers and equally importantly the Carers movements are carefully monitored so one is never let down. In my last quartile i am feeling more secure with the Care that Edyn care provide.

We joined edyn.care only a month or so ago - they treat my mother as a respected human being. Each carer brings a particular set of skills but they all have in common an ability to make it seem as if all the services are normal. Everyone whether in 'the back office' or at the 'frontline' is calm, flexible, well organised, personable and resourceful regardless of how the situation might change. My mother has recovered very speedily from her fall and is a much more engaged and happy woman since she has been with 'her carers'.

What makes Edyn stand out from other agencies we have used for live-in care is the fact that they care - the human touch is there. Our communications with them have always centred around a basic desire to do the best for my husband as an individual, not as a number. They are also ready to admit when things are not as they should be and need changing - this a rare trait!

Fantastic carer and a great support team

We asked Edyn Care to arrange a live-in carer for my Mum, who has dementia. They have been brilliant, meeting all our requests (for instance language requirements) and acting quickly and professionally. The carer is wonderful - she really goes the extra mile and my Mum is happier and more responsive than she has been for a long time.
The online portal is helpful and allows us to keep track of things from a distance. The team at Edyn have really helped take a load off my mind because I know my Mum's in safe hands.

After using many care agencies in the past, I’ve been impressed that Edyn have maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. This includes responding quickly in an empathetic, efficient manner, providing a good carer and regularly checking in. I’d definitely recommend!

Having worked with numerous Care Agencies/ Companies in the past, I have been impressed with Edyn.Care’s professionalism and speed of response when I initially contacted them requesting assistance for my daughter.✔️

The process was TIMELY and THOROUGH. There were no unnecessary waiting and long delays as I’d experienced with some agencies before. As a parent, I want the best for my daughter and have very high standards and expectations of the people who support her. Edyn.care haven’t disappointed me and am very impressed with how they work. They’ve LISTENED and provided a Support Worker who meets most of my daughter’s needs.

Although new to the Care world, Edyn.care have met most of my expectations and I can strongly recommend them. I’ve given them 4 stars because I want them to get to the next level of excellence as they mature😉

My family have been really impressed with Edyn Care. They found wonderful full time care for my mother following careful assessment of her needs. They have helped us every step of the way with her medical needs and give us weekly reports on her progress. We are really impressed with their professionalism and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing this type of help.

At first things did not go too well. I found communications between staff at the highest level not good and left me not knowing what was happening for me. Also it took a while for the Agency to find me a permanent Carer. I could have changed Agencies but I didn't because I could see Edyn Care had something special. Firstly the management really do care. They want to meet clients' needs and if they don't they work tirelessly until they do. Secondly everyone seems very keen to continue to learn and make changes ,aiming to always provide an exceptional service. Thirdly, they employ the cream of carers! Before I had my permanent carer(who is so good I think she is exceptional) I was cared for by 2 other intelligent,caring friendly people. Edyn Care has enormous potential.

I have never written two reviews for one firm before... but Edyn.care deserve it. Superb care, flexible approach and just lovely people. Highly recommended.

We recently used Edyn Care to look after my mother while she was poorly. The carers were always on time, patient and kind. My mother felt happy and relaxed even though they were strangers. Edyn listened to our requirements and care needs, matching them perfectly. I would highly recommend Edyn Care and not hesitate to use them again in the future.
