I really rate this company

I really rate this company, the customer service is astoundingly good and a breath of fresh air compared to BT.

I have had my mobile contract with EE for quite a few years now and when there has been a problem, the help I have received from the customer service department has always been fab.

I changed over from BT to EE with our broadband. Initially we did have quite a few problems, with intermittent internet and it going off every evening at a certain time. After a lot of phone calls/complaints, EE finally admitted there was a problem with their routers. Eventually after a few months of chatting and trying to sort the problem out, which was escalated, a new modem was delivered to us.

I only gave this company 4 stars as we still lose our internet from time to time, but a quick re-boot usually brings it back on for us.

I can only praise the staff at EE for their continued support and friendly help and advice.

I do recommend this company for mobiles and broadband.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They don’t care if you are a loyal returning customer or if you are unhappy. No sort of apology or anything. There isn’t even an official complaints department to log a complaint they just tell you they will pass the ‘feedback’ onto a manager but who knows if they actually do this. Spoke to a guy today who was very condescending dispite knowing I was an unhappy customer he was rushing me off the phone and then said “have a nice day” at the end of the call and it was clearly not a genuine statement. Terrible company!

Ripped Off!

Be warned, EE do not value their exsisting customers. I'm currently in the process of complaining to the company and attempting to speak to someone higher up. I've already dealt with and am still dealing with a rude and abrupt team leader over the phone in ireland. I have mobile broadband with EE (as well as a phone contract), when I renewed my mobile broadband contract I signed up to pay £65+ for 100GB of data. Since then you can now get the exact same product and plan for £45 or 200GB for £60 so i'm effectively paying more for the same product and service new customers are. I rang up to attempt to get the price matched as I see it only fair considering i've been with EE for over 2 years now, they told me they could knock £5 off, I said no, they said they could knock £10 off, I said no, I want to be matched to the price new customers are. Still dealing with them but i'm not happy with how i've been treated, feel completely ripped off, fair enough get new customers but if you can't keep your old ones then your business will soon suffer, if this problem isn't resolved then I will be switching back to Three as I at least felt slightly more valued by that company than I have been with EE.

As a long term existing customer of EE …

As a long term existing customer of EE I thought I might have been treated with a bit more responsiveness from the staff . I sadly broke my phone and was looking for a new one and to see what options I have. There are two EE stores where I live and the first one I visited to discuss my options basically had a good laugh at my broken phone and told me to look in the second hand phone shops because they have nothing in my price range. Couldn't of been more rude, condescending and dismissive. I decided to check my funds and go to the second EE store a short while after. A little more helpful(only slightly) and £120 later I have had to buy a new handset. With such a poor level of service and effort from EE to a customer of many years I can say in my experience that I will not be renewing my contract with them. As a final dose of frustration I set up the new phone and checked my EE account to find an upgrade option for a new phone at a fraction of the price. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I think it's nearly time to pay my plan and go elsewhere. Plenty of mobile phone companies and providers to choose from in this day and age. Not recommended at all.

Terrible treatment of existing customer - now sorted by EE.

Had given EE one star for behaviour which follows, but I now have to eat my words as, to be fair, EE telephoned me and sorted the matter out to my satisfaction. Can't give five stars due to initial treatment - pity the EE initial EE representative didn't just sort my contract out in a fair way.

Been with EE for quite some time (T mobile prior to that) for mobile and then EE broadband. Have just tried to "upgrade" my contract, which is now at an end. Was offered 250MB of data (plus unlimited texts and calls) for £9 per month. I commented that there were other firms offering much higher data for £10. I was told that EE provide a "premium service" so they couldn't offer more data. Please note that Virgin mobile is offering 4GB of data for £9 per month - and is "piggy backing" the EE system. Despicable treatment of a customer taking not just one service from EE but two. I have requested my PAC number and will also be moving the broadband when the contract comes to an end.

23 YEARS WITH THIS COMPANY. NOW THE'VE LOST ME. BYE BYE.

Went into EE store, took out a 2 year contract on two phone lines I have. Was told by the salesman that my old contract for a tablet was now cancelled (pack of lies) he does not have the authority to cancel it. It must be done by the customer themselves over the phone. Also I note that EE staff are rating this page themselves, most unethical. I've been with EE for 23 years (T.mobile as it was then). When my contract expires in two years the've seen the last of me.

I see EE employees are now writing the reviews and giving 5 stars, don't worry guys you'll still get your wage at the end of the month. It's the managers, directors and CEO that must be sacked.

the customer service is always really …

the customer service is always really good with EE i usually get through by phone to the call centre in ireland and they are always very friendly, polite and well mannered. Ee itself isnt the best network as they dont do unlimited internet but i suppose thats there way to make more money. The customer service when you neee help is usually good though and that is really important.

i have nothing but praise for this company I have just had a text message saying thank you for being a broadband customer we have boosted your mobile plan data allowance by 5gb a month worth £12,99 a month my broadband deal is £37.a month for internet and landline all week and weekend calls and international call with no extra charge with a discount making it £23.a month in the past I have had most of the other big names but have never had any that can get anywhere near EE to me they are one of the best company's I have had the pleasure to be with a cant fault them in any way and have been with know about 4 years and when I speak to a member of staff they are some of the most pleasant staff a person could wish to speak to from a very pleased Charles best

I have never had a problem with EE. I find them helpful on the phone. They find ways to help you when you are struggling financially. They have stuck to their end of the bargain Every time. I won't go elsewhere.

IM NOT STUPID...BUT I BELIEVED THE SASS OF SOME INDIAN GUY AT THE BLUEWATER. STORE...HE KNEW FULL WELL I HAD AN OLD NOKIA WHICH I DONT USE..AND TALKED ME IN TO A CONTRACT.

IVE HAD TIME OFF WORK. AND FOUND OUT IM PAYING MORE FOR A PHONE I DONT USE...THAN I DO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY WHICH I USE ALL THE TIME

I BELIEVED THIS INDIAN GUY AT BLUEWATER.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT.....I WOULDNT USE THIS BUNCH EVER AGAIN....BEARING IN MIND ..IVE HAD THE SAME NUMBER SINCE THEY STARTED AND HAVE BEEN WITH THEM.....I FEEL SO LET DOWN..

PLEASE SHOP ROUND...

Where to start

Where to start. I loose my phone and follow protocol on what to do on reporting etc. The next day I decide to pay the huge contract cancellation fee and get a new phone as I need it for work Monday, I'm self employed. I get a guy on the phone Saturday who runs through the options and gives me a "conditional contract", he's made his commission then. He instructs me to go to a store that Sunday, website says store is open at 10.30, it opens at 11am. Ive young kids wanting to go out, very frustrating. 30 minutes later so 11.30 I find out that the phone guy has messed up and they can't give me a phone and he shouldn't have told me to come in etc. So I take another hour off on Monday morning and I'm trying to spend money with them, to finally get a new contract and phone. Guy on Monday was very good and got me sorted but EE this is TERRIBLE service and I feel I've been taken for a ride by you.

Extortion by EE

Declined £26 a month plan but offered one for £3 a month less with 20GB LESS DATA. It's obviously a shakedown tactic they play on customers to save on the bottom line.

SOOO many idiots its like i could run a better customer service than any person at EE
Not to mention charging me for 2 tablets when one of them was sent to another address idk how he managed that but here we go LIKE WT F?

Keep getting charged £4.50 for some game subscriptions that i never signed up to, Called EE to put a block on the account, they said they will, 2 months later another charge has come through , i rang them, they told me to go ask the company for a refund, i was quite angry at this point, why should i keep having to chase this , when you have told me there is a block on the account, absolute shambles of a customer service .

Furious and cancelling my contract
They may be biggest provider as we told but crap service ..!!!

Thank you EE for your amazing customer service, especially thank you to Ben for being very helpful and patient and very pleasant to talk to.
Although he was unable to resolve my problem he very quickly arranged for an BT engineer to come to my home and have a look.
