Amarok Canopy
Delivery - Very Prompt - about 3 weeks after ordering.
Very well packed for shipping.
Top quality product well made with an excellent finish.
Fitting instructions....good.
Downside... Interior light is poor.... too small.
Switch is not easily accessible, Light is not solidly mounted to the Canopy and moves when the on button is pressed....

EGR exploding Windows on canopy.
I bought my EGR canopy second hand. Had no issues all working order... when it was hot one of the rear side glass windows imploded/exploded out of warranty of course, I got fixed thankfully through insurance but was incredibly hard to source the replacement... just last week the opposite side imploded/exploded, ive learnt via the first window debacle that when they're manufactured with imperfections the Windows can explode in the heat... what are the chances of 2 Windows doing it? Obviously shoddy workmanship, I am disappointed with this brand product and will never buy anything EGR again.

Hi Steph, thanks for the feedback and sorry you've had some issues with your glass. Would you please be able to provide what vehicle the canopy is for as well as the item number. As you will be aware canopy windows are made from safety glass and some times the smallest knock can sit dormant for months until eventually the window cracks, unbeknown to the owner. At EGR we make genuine canopies for most of the motor companies in Australia for decades and our superior workmanship and quality is why they trust us to do so. Found the fitting instructions layed out was fine but the wiring on the product was about a 1m short. If it was someone that didn't know how lengthen it it would be a problem

Too many delays
I ordered the panopy on 29th of September, to be fitted at my home address, although this was more expensive, I thought it would be easier. I got a message to say it was delivered to the installer on the 12th of October and I would be contacted with an installation date. I didn’t hear anything for a week so I decided to chased it up. I was told that the hoist that they use to lift the canopy into place was allegedly broken and I would have to take the vehicle to a workshop to be fitted, I would be contacted with the details. Another 4 days went by and no one contacted me so again I had to chase it up. I was given the details as to where to take the vehicle for fitting and would be contacted by them. A few more days went by and again no one contacted me. I chased it again and finally managed to get an appointment for the 1st of November so all and all over a month to get it done and a lot of stress.
Yes, the product is great but EGR are not very good at keeping their customers informed or apologising in any way for all the delays and stress they’ve caused.

No hesitation in dealing with again!
EGR was extremely helpful with sourcing a key for us to suit a canopy that the client had lost. Took a bit of time for response to emails, but they are on the other side of the country to me. They did go to great lengths to ensure that keys were functional. I will have no hesitation in dealing with them again
