Custmer service is non-exsistent. Sent several emails. They have never been replied to. All of them ignored. Envirovent fan ordered a month, one correspondence to say it was delayed but nothing since. I want my money back and it's held up my DIY project at home and cancellation of electrician. I don't mind if they aren't getting it, I will get it elsewhere. Please communicate with your customers!! I realise coronavirus is a problem but keep your customers up to date

We ordered a £500 heater on 16th November. I chased on the 18th to be told that they had no idea when they would be back in stock and would we like a refund.
I wrote back saying that we wanted an immediate refund. After chasing them on Facebook and via email, and also logging a case with Paypal we eventually got a refund through on 1st December.
My advice if you deal with this company is to phone them to check if they actually have the product physically in stock (although we could never get through to them on the phone so that could be difficult) and ensure you pay with someone like Paypal so that you are protected if they never supply you with the goods.
On a more general point it is very poor practice to offer goods for sale when you do not actually have stock of the product.

Complete scam. I ordered products weeks ago (£240 worth) and received an email saying that there would be 10-14 day delay and that I could have a refund if I wished. Then when no product arrived and I asked for a refund they have not replied. I am reporting them to trading standards.

Ordered a product 5 weeks ago and was charged. Day after I got an email saying that the order was likely delayed 10-14 days. Since then no updates or reply to my request for an update. Probably think twice about trusting them.

I was slightly apprehensive when placing my order having read the recent reviews. I ordered 3 panel heaters for my house, got a good price and was able to collect the next day. Throughout the process the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would happily use them again.

Ordered 3 radiators, received an email telling me they didn’t have stock and could have a refund, didn’t answer email of phone so I had to claim through PayPal to get my money, awful company 😡

I don't normally write review, but this is really ridiculous. Ordered 4 items since September, they never arrived despite said so in beginning of Nov. And then never be able to get in touch. I believe this company is a shell company without actual products to sell, but holding off your money. Do use Paypal so you can get refunds, otherwise good luck to get any refunds from them, as they are probably a scammer with a call centre.

Ordered 2 Dimplex radiators on Oct 12th, still waiting for 1 of them to arrive. Told today mid Dec at earliest.
Appalling customer service, took them a month to answer the phone, answer phone inbox constantly full and emails not responded to. Avoid!

SCAM - Avoid like the plague.
They are dishonest and unprofessional, apparently scamming workers out of their hard-earned cash, during a pandemic.
They said they had the product I wanted in stock, then after I paid for it they emailed that it wasn't in stock and that I could claim a refund. However, when I tried to claim that refund they became uncontactable, ignoring multiple emails and not answering their phone, which has a full mailbox (a sign of a very professional and normal company, obviously). Weeks later, after I'd spent more money buying a product from a decent, honest retailer, they sent me the wrong product. They have still never replied to an email or picked up their phone since their initial email saying that it wasn't in stock.

Where do I begin. Ordered £1500 worth of Dimplex heaters back on 30th September 20. I get an email the following day to say that due to 'stock issues' there would be a delay for 10 days or so. Rang again on the 14th October to cancel the order, they then tell me there are supply issues with Dimplex as far back as June. The following day I receive part of the order via Parcelforce 24 even though I cancelled the order. I rang them to say I cancelled the previous morning. They apologise and said they would get Parcelforce to collect. A full week passed before Parcelforce turned up and that was after a further 2 phone calls.
The parcels were received back at Electricpoint on 25th October. I rang them on the 28th October chasing a refund and they told me they had a large number of returns they hadn't even looked at. I got told on the 5th November after another phone call that I would receive a full refund in 3-5 days. Further phone calls on 9th, 13th and 19th November followed. The last call I made on the 19th was by far the worst of the lot. The deluded individual on the phone said he couldn't find 'paperwork', although he had my order in front of him on the screen. When I got irate with him, due to the lack of action he then blamed me for the whole fiasco. I asked to be called back numerous times without success. I asked again on the 19th, no call but they did email confirming it had been cancelled finally.
On the 21st November I received the refund into my account. A full 7 weeks after ordering and 5 weeks after cancelling.
My advice to anyone considering buying from Electricpoint, you have been warned. Constantly fail to answer the phone and unable to leave answer phone message as it's full, I wonder why? Even though there is supply issues with Dimplex they continue to sell products they don't have in stock and are never likely to be able to get hold off. Constant lies and false promises, the word useless comes to mind.
This is not a professional setup, just a bunch of cockney fraudsters pretending to be a legitimate business.

I ordered a heater prior to checking out the reviews of the company on this site, and I'm glad I did. To be honest, I probably would not have ordered based on some of the recent reviews, however, my experience has been nothing but positive. I rang to check stock first and the call was answered promptly and politely, that was on Monday. I was told I would have the product by the end of the week, and sure enough it arrived on Thursday. All good as far as I'm concerned.

Their website said "in stock" so i ordered 1 radiator at £294.41. Didn't receive dispatch email so rang 1 week later to be told not in stock, their website is "not live". cancelled order, was told refund would be made - 10 days later no refund, they don't reply to emails nor anser phone so have raied a dispute through my bank, DONT TOUCH THIS COMPANY

Ordered and paid for two storage heaters, have not arrived. Chased with 2 phone calls, they said with courier. Now phone line message says mailbox full so you can’t even ring them. Have to keep cancelling electrician who was due to install them. Can’t even log on to my account as when click on link to reset password just takes you to home page. This must be a scam. Should be able to give no stars as just wasted my time, money and given me a load of stress.
Update: Thankfully items have finally been delivered.

This firm is nothing but a SCAM do not order anything from this company.
They provide an order number but when I received no delivery date I logged onto the account I had on their website.
Clicked on MY ORDERS.
This stated no current orders yet I had paid £594 for a storage heater.
Thankfully I paid via my PAYPAL account.
I raised a claim for a refund to PayPal including copies of this website feedback and my emails to them and promptly won my claim.
I called electricpoint and the operative was very accommodating but don't be fooled by this at all. He provided me with loads of excuses.
Don't use this firm.

Took my money on 1 September for products they haven't got, have never responded to my emails and have stopped answering the phone. It's now 15 November, I raised a case with PayPal on 6 November and am close to escalating that to a claim.

Awful experience with every part of this business.
They took a website order on a product they didn't have in stock (but didn't tell me this), made me chase them to learn they didn't have it. I cancelled, then a week later they tried to deliver the order anyway (despite not having it?) which I refused.
They then held my money hostage another week until they had time to go and check they had the item back, despite it being their error to ship it a week after I'd cancelled the order (it's our policy, sir). They also repeatedly promised me call-backs that they failed to deliver.
I had to threaten a Paypal dispute to get my refund. Disgraceful ethics, incompetent company, avoid like the 'rona.

Absolutely terrible service. I read all the bad reviews about electric point but thought what could go wrong ordering a couple of floodlights... how wrong was I.
They don't seem to post your order until you chase them and then the order came and was wrong.
Emails are ignored and the sales guy on the phone was the most arrogant person I've had the mispleasure dealing with in a long time. He said once I returned the wrong items they sent they would send me the correct item and I quote "we can't post the correct item until we receive the wrong item back because we can't trust you would post it back".
So they received the wrong item then complete radio silence... no correct item sent out and no refund.
Have had to go down the route of a credit chargeback. Absolute hassle, would never buy from again!

Excellent service and help from this company. I needed a replacement panel heater at short notice: this company dealt with my enquiry most helpfully and politely on the phone and the price was very reasonable for this Dimplex product. I had to order the heater and pay online, and I foolishly made a mistake in the postcode for the shipping address ( using my home postcode in Cheshire rather than the correct one for the delivery to mid Wales). The company noticed my error and took the time and trouble to contact me by phone to double check. I thought that this was exceptional service....and this prevented the heater being sent to the wrong address. The item was posted on a Saturday and Parcel Force delivered it to mid -Wales by 10.30 on the following Tuesday...again, exceptional service - and no extra cost was charged for delivery. Outstanding - many many thanks from a very satisfied and pleased customer to this excellent company.
