I recently had an unexpected issue with the Emop platform when my phone's wet screen caused me to accidentally accept a job offer with an unsuitable schedule. Panicked, I quickly cancelled the acceptance, only to discover a £40 fine had been incurred.
Fortunately, when I reached out to Emop's support team to explain the circumstances, they demonstrated remarkable flexibility and understanding. After reviewing my case, they kindly waived the fine, showing a willingness to listen and adapt to unforeseen situations.
I'm impressed by Emop's commitment to customer satisfaction and their ability to balance rules with empathy. This experience has reinforced my trust in their platform and services. Thank you, Emop, for your understanding and support.

My tenants paid emop for a professional end of tenancy clean. I always recommend tenants pay for a professional cleaning service rather than clean themselves because it ensures nothing is missed. Emop charged 430£ for an 800 square foot flat (including upholstery). Unfortunately, the service from emop was slapdash and very disappointing. To check the quality of the clean and clean everything that had been missed cost myself and the tenant 7 hours of labour. I wish I had just asked the tenants to clean the flat themselves because I expect they would have cleaned it to a higher standard.
A summary of everything that was missed (pictures of a few attached):
– a streak of sauce on the inside of a kitchen cupboard
– top of fridge and kitchen cupboards not cleaned and covered in grease.
- remnants of food and debris down the side of the fridge because no one had bothered to move it and clean around it
– only the bottom half of the kitchen blinds cleaned
- kitchen window sill and shelf above cooker not cleaned and covered in dust, debris And grease
- drip tray in fridge not cleaned
- Windows throughout the flat not cleaned
- throughout the flat that had been little/no attempt to move furniture and clean underneath/ behind it
- bathroom blinds not cleaned
- two chest of drawers in two of the bedrooms had not been cleaned and there was dust/debris in the drawers
- tv brackets and rear of TVs not cleaned and covered in dust
– radiators not cleaned
- parts of skirting board not cleaned

I booked eMop for an end-of-tenancy clean, and we got our full deposit back! 🥳 I was very impressed with the clean, and the cleaners put a lot of effort in.
I had one issue with being charged more than I should have for cleaning overtime -- I was very worried that the customer service team would ignore me or not want to help me with my claim, however, they communicated very well and helped resolve the issue efficiently. I left feeling happy with the service and I would definitely book with eMop again in the future.

I feel like this people are abusing the UK system, be careful of trusting this company of letting people in your property. They should be investigated as to who they are employing. When 2 people came to our place, they didn’t even know who were on the phone.
After showing images of damages, they refused to pay for any repair and still no refund until now.
2 non-English speaking cleaner came and was very late. No cleaning materials brought. Was told the company didn’t provide anything and it has to come from their wages. I provided them with the cleaning materials then I stayed out for 2 hours. I came back, nothing has been done except they ruined part of my wall with a big scratch. I couldn’t believe what they’ve done to my place. Paid nearly £300 for a 2 bedroom, the place was actually much cleaner before they came!!! We wanted it to be spotless for rental viewing hence we wanted a professional Cleaner! It ended up like I’ve never seen the flat ever before. There were hairs, black smudges, scratches and didn’t finish some cleaning in the kitchen that made it look worst. I couldn’t understand how a place that looked reasonably clean, ended up being so disgustingly dirty??!! They left it in a really bad state. Didn’t empty the bin. The normal 2 hour job for me to clean the flat, they told me they needed 6 hours. Then people left early coz they said they couldn’t do the job. With all honesty, the people sent was so lazy, they spent more sitting and looking out the window. I have no idea why this company existed and none have made any investigation. I looked them up and the owners are:

I didn’t get assigned a cleaner, I cancelled as I needed one urgently and went to find elsewhere. I was called by customer service to re-book and they insisted it’s unlikely that the job wouldn’t be picked up so I re-booked and still wasn’t assigned a cleaner, very disappointed.

I have been working for this company for about a month and I feel part of the family. Roxanne has been very helpful and supportive starting from the enrolment process until now, she is always attentive and ready to help with all that is needed.

3 people from emop came to help today with cleaning my flat that I had let slip with hoarding issues and bad health.
Francine, Neva Jane and Matthew arrived on time. After a quick assessment they set to work and did not stop all day.
The work exceeded what I expected. They even did some jobs I didn’t think they would.
We used a different company a few years ago that was a lot more expensive and nowhere near as good.
They also had to deal with a neighbour who complained constantly.
I would definitely recommend them and I would use them again.

I booked Emop for my end of tenancy cleaning, and according to their website, it should have taken 6.5 hours to deep clean my 2-bedroom apartment.
I left her alone in the property, trusting her to do the job—big mistake. When I returned after 5 hours, she had only touched the kitchen! Can you believe it? Five hours for a small kitchen, and it wasn’t even fully clean—the floor wasn’t mopped! As for the other rooms, they were left in the exact same condition as before.
Then, 45 minutes later, she informed me she couldn't continue and suggested I contact customer service to have another cleaner sent. Seriously, is this how your company handles tasks? I essentially wasted 6 hours for nothing!
The real kicker is that Emop claims Galina is one of their best cleaners. I can’t imagine what the worst would be like.
I raised the issue with customer service, and they told me it would take 7 days to get a new cleaner, and the refund would only cover the amount for the recleaning. Are you kidding me? I paid £35for absolutely nothing! Nothing clean for real!(I wish I could share pictures of the state of my flat.)
To everyone reading this: AVOID EMOP!!! They are unprofessional, clearly untrained, and just in it for the money!

My experience was fabulous. My HR Roxanne was really helpful. Not to mention how she took her time to explain how to use the app and also how to ensure I didn’t download the wrong app. She is always ready to answer any questions. I’m happy because I have emop😊

My experience has been excellent and quiet fulfilling. Prior to Naidoo, my HR representative took the time to thoroughly explain the task to me, address any concerns I had, and ensure that I knew how to do the job correctly in order to provide better results. I'm incredibly excited to get to works since I know that working with Emop will be fantastic.

I must add that I've had such a pleasant experience using the website to look for a job. Pre Naidoo, the HR assistant, was really helpful in putting everything into perspective. She has been incredibly kind and helpful to me, and I am excited to collaborate with them.

I booked a fairly extensive clean of my flat and also paid extra for the 'Disinfect' option, as well as the 'Priority Cleaning Package' - which it states "guarantees" one of their most "highly acclaimed" and "top rated" cleaners. When the cleaner arrived, she barely spoke English and the language barrier immediately proved to be a problem. When I pointed to the 'Disinfect' option on my booking, she did not even know what this was. Seeing as I had been expecting a "highly acclaimed" and "top rated" cleaner, I asked how long she had been working with the company, to which she replied that it was her very first day. I immediately reported this issue to eMop's online chat and was immediately called back by a gentlemen who was also foreign and whom I also had great difficulty understanding. I had to resort to telling him to just email me instead, which he did and said that he would refund me the 'Disinfect' and 'Priority Cleaning Package' components of my bill (these were indeed soon refunded). The cleaner did seem to work hard and ended up doing quite a good job (which is the only reason why I have given this review 3 stars instead of 1). I told her that I did not blame her for eMop's mess-up and that I solely blamed their obvious shambles of a system. Then a couple of days later, I was rudely awakened by a nuisance phonecall just after 9am. This was by yet another person with a foreign accent whom I could barely understand. I could just make out that she was asking how my eMop experience was. I do not appreciate such "courtesy" calls at the best of times, but especially when they wake me up from my sleep early in the morning. I therefore just hung up right away. The number then immediately attempted to call me back twice, before I managed to block it. Overall I was not at all impressed by my eMop expeirence and would never consider using them again.

Terrible service, terrible communication. I had signed up for fortnightly cleans as I was interested in getting the same cleaner and was hoping to work build a working relationship with them but I tolerated 6 cleans with 6 different cleaners before I decided enough was enough. Customer service were slow to respond and didn't even acknowledge some of my complaints. One cleaner didn't know how to change a bed which was ultimately the straw that broke the camels back. Cleaners consistently clock out late which results in the homeowner being charged more or having to chase it up. I wanted a cleaning service to make my life easier but it was nothing but stress. Quality of available cleaners may depend on the area but they obviously aren't vetted for quality.

Everything about this service is just awful. Cleaners don’t show up and you are not offered even an apology not speaking about a discount. Even if they show up, they will do everything as slow as possible. And of course they will clock out at least 15 minutes later then they actually finish the work.

Over charged, poor quality clean, did not follow the cleaning requirements, didn't hoover or mop the floors, and then billed for an extra 2 hrs of which they were not at the apartment.
Complaints process offer credit to your emop account- totally useless, all in all I was charged over £200 for 5 hours of poor cleaning in a studio apartment, of which the windows, floors, hoovering, and balconies (which I paid extra for) were not cleaned. The cleaner turned up late and left early, I was then charged for overtime which was false.
Incredibly poor service would never book again. Laughable I was given £18 refund for the above given the spend on a small studio apartment which I can deep clean in a couple of hours.
