Terug van gran canaria

Wat zijn er goed geholpen. En vooral wat snel!!!
Op woensdagavond gebeld. Donderdag stond er al een verpleegkundige naast me vader z’n bed. Vrijdagochtend konden we aan onze terugreis beginnen.
Super lieve en ook gezellige verpleegkundige waar we een fijne terugreis mee hadden.
We voelde ons echt veilig onder haar hoede.
De medische papieren voor het ziekenhuis hier in Nederland kregen we direct zowel het originele als de Engelse vertaling.
Ik hoop er nooit meer mee te maken te krijgen. Maar als je in nood zit en je wilt graag naar huis is EMS zeker een aanrader.
Wij zijn ze zeer dankbaar.

Wat een mooie en lieve review mochten wij van jullie ontvangen. Jullie verhaal is er één van zovelen. Maar elke repatriëring is weer speciaal en verdient de beste medische zorg en aandacht van onze specialistisch verpleegkundigen.

Er is niets ellendigers dan in een buitenlands ziekenhuis te liggen, waar je wellicht de taal niet verstaat en niet de zorg krijgt die je gewend bent. Dan zijn wij er om snel de repatriëring in gang te zetten.

Wij danken jullie voor het in ons gestelde vertrouwen.

Very fast responses and well-organised

Very fast responses and organised 2 separate trips 2 weeks apart for us at short notice, and with excellent crew. Constant updates during the transfer process (we could not be with the person being transferred one of the times) and everything was done exactly as planned and detailed, in very clean and well-equipped ambulances with great crew.

Krankenrücktransprt

Meine Schwägerin hatte einen schweren Motorradunfall und lag in Kroatien im Krankenhaus. Auf Grund der komplizierten Brüche konnte sie dort nicht behandelt werden. Wir haben Kontakt zu EMS aufgenommen und tatsächlich sofort am Telefon sehr kompetente Ansprechpartner gehabt. Innerhalb weniger Stunden wurde der komplette Rücktransport nach Hamburg organisiert und äußerst professionell 1,5 Tage später durchgeführt. An Bord des Fahrzeuges war immer ein Arzt, der meine Schwägerin beobachtet und medizinisch versorgt hat. Selbst, wenn mal nach eine Tasse Kaffee gefragt wurde, wurde das sofort vom EMS-Team umgesetzt. Wir wurden ständig informiert, wo sich das Fahrzeug befindet und wann die Ankunftszeit sein wird. EMS hat sich auch komplett um die Aufnahme im hiesigen Krankenhaus gekümmert. Meine Schwägerin ist sehr gut im Hamburger Krankenhaus angekommen. Vielen Dank an das ganze EMS-Team. Ich fand den Service perfekt. Es war tatsächlich ein rundum sorglos Paket.

Niet aan te raden

Op het moment dat ik contact heb opgenomen met EMS, werden mijn vragen netjes beantwoord. Echter kreeg ik sindsdien meerdere berichten per dag of ze mij nog ergens mee konden helpen. Ze waren erg gebrand op het mij binnenhalen als klant. We hebben ons voorbereid en zaten kant en klaar te wachten op de ambulance. Toen deze arriveerde, bleek alleen de patiënt en niet de moeder mee te kunnen. Dit was anders dan vooraf afgesproken en bijzonder vervelend om zo achter te komen. De reis zelf is wel goed gegaan. Er werd goed meegedacht met pijnstilling. Achteraf hebben wij direct een klacht ingediend vanwege het feit dat de moeder niet meekon en daarom extra kosten heeft moeten maken voor een vliegreis. Waar EMS ons vooraf aan de reis overstelpten met berichten, is het nu al maandenlang stil en worden wij genegeerd. Ook herinneringsmails worden genegeerd. De kosten waren onwijs hoog, maar de service erg laag. Ik raad u aan te zoeken naar een ander bedrijf.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your recent trip and for any inconvenience caused, especially with regard to the misunderstanding about travel arrangements for the patient’s mother. This was certainly not the experience we intended to provide.

We understand how frustrating and challenging the overall repatriation experience can be, and we regret any additional costs or inconvenience this caused. Your concerns are valid, and we have taken them into consideration against your case. Please note that after reviewing the facts of your case, it is apparent that there was no miscommunication on our end regarding the clarification of the number of passengers who could be accommodated on board. Moreover, it is not uncommon to have long-distance transfers on the road with just the patient and crew (i.e., without an accompanying co-passenger, as was the case here) as we prioritise the development needs of the patient while we execute the transport. Our service model and the agreement we have in place with our clients also allow us to modify the booking or make or suggest appropriate changes to the transport subject to the needs and assessment of the patient. Whilst we understand that this may not have been ideal for you or that you may have had alternative expectations regarding the scheduled transport, there is limited action we could take in this regard to remedy your concerns, given the meek health of the patient and the convoluted arrangements for the transfer necessary to ensure a safe trip.

Please be assured that your complaint has not gone unnoticed. We are now prioritizing your case and will be in touch shortly to discuss how we can resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

EMS works professional

How do you get a sick and bedridden father from a hospital in the Czech Republic to the Netherlands as quickly as possible? Communication problems and sabotage attempts from people in his personal environment do not make this assignment any easier. We submit our request for help to EMS and receive extremely expert assistance from the first moment of contact. Our story is listened to carefully and our ideas are shared. We receive clear explanations. In fact, we are immediately relieved and reassured. EMS works accurately and very professionally. Sometimes we almost dare not believe what they promise us, that they will bring our father to the Netherlands on the agreed day no matter what. On the transport day itself, we receive regular updates from EMS about the progress of the journey. According to our father, the employees are very friendly and helpful from the moment of pick-up to the end of the trip. Without EMS we would not have managed to get father to the Netherlands (so quickly) and we are very grateful to them for their excellent services. Extra info; Payment is made in advance to a foreign bank account. This caused us some problems with the bank, including an extensive telephone interrogation. Be prepared for this and consult your bank.

Do not use

We went thru them to try and get my mother back from Ireland to the US in 2020, we had to pay upfront and it took over 10 days for them to come up with an itinerary for departure, we gave up on them after 8 days and hired a different company to get my mother home. It only took the other company 3 days and only needed half up front. Go with almost any other company they delayed so long my mother almost died

EMS is a dishonest company

Do yourself a favor and use a different service. EMS is a dishonest company that takes advantage of people in dire situations.

I had a serious accident while on holiday in France and needed to be transferred to Spain where I live.

EMS offered to have their doctor look at my condition and transfer me to the best-suited hospital. They also offered to translate all the medical reports from French to Spanish to accelerate things once there.

This was a relief because, between the physical state in which I was, the pain, and the resulting mental distress, I didn’t have much headspace to deal with that. So I decided to go with them, although the price was double that of other companies.

When they told me the very day of the transfer that this would be to the small general hospital close to Vic, where I live, when there are plenty of specialized hospitals close by in Barcelona, I started having strong doubts that they did what they said.

I asked to speak with their doctor. I never managed to talk to her/him. Their customer support is outsourced in the Netherlands to people who have no medical background.
I asked repeatedly for the translation but got it far too late, 5 days after arrival in Spain.
When I complained once I was in Spain, they first said they don’t offer this service and only handed over the translation once I sent them screenshots of a conversation prior to transfer in which they had agreed to offer the service.

The transfer was outsourced to a very poor Spanish ambulance service. They didn’t even have water in the ambulance and they were clearly annoyed when I asked for a break because of the pain.
I was dropped at the emergency, and I had to spend another 30 hours there to go through all the medical tests again because I didn’t have the translations.

This was a terrible experience. They lied to me. They obviously took advantage of the dire situation I was in. I would strongly recommend to look for another service.

From the outset, the details of your booking—including the mode of transport and service options—were clearly communicated and agreed upon. It was also transparently highlighted during the onboarding process and in the quotation provided that, when necessary and subject to the service offering selected by the client (across the broad range of solutions we offer), we may need to collaborate with carefully selected third-party providers due to a plethora of factors. These partnerships are essential in ensuring we can deliver timely and effective care globally. While we regret that the third-party service you encountered did not meet your personal expectations, this approach is a standard part of our process, and we select partners based on their ability to meet our high standards.

Regarding the hospital transfer, we want to stress that the choice of the receiving facility was based on your preferences at the time of booking. Our bed-to-bed transfer service ensures safe and efficient transport, but the responsibility for choosing the receiving hospital ultimately rests with the client. We cannot be held accountable for the conditions or experiences at the hospital, as our role is to facilitate the transport—not to manage the facility itself.

As for the translation services, these are not a standard component of our medical repatriation package. While translation was discussed, it was not a pre-requisite part of the service, and once the request was formally raised, we did everything possible to accommodate it in a timely manner. We apologize for any delay, but we took every step to fulfill this additional request once confirmed.

Finally, we must strongly refute your claim that our customer support is outsourced or lacks medical knowledge. Our medical team consists of highly trained and certified professionals, entirely separate from our administrative operations team, who are responsible for coordination and support. Any suggestion that we lack proper medical expertise is unfounded. We are ISO:9001 certified, which underscores our commitment to quality and operational excellence in medical repatriation.

While we regret that your experience did not go as smoothly as we strive to provide for all our clients, we want to be clear that our team made every effort to ensure your care and transfer were handled with the highest degree of professionalism. We stand by the integrity of our services and refute any suggestion of dishonesty.

Snel en perfect geregeld!

Alles perfect geregeld met betrekking tot repatriëring vanuit Kroatië naar Nederland. Vakmanschap aan boord van de ambulance met een gezonde dosis aan humor.
EMS ambulance bedankt voor het snel en veilig inzetten van mijn transport, hier kan menig reisverzekering nog iets van leren.

Klarer Betrug. Achtung an alle Deutschen

Es lag ein dringender Notfall in den BVIs vor. Der Erstkontakt mit einem deutschen Mitarbeiter von EMS war sehr freundlich. Der weitere Kontakt mit dem englischen Team war sehr förmlich, meiner Meinung nach unempathisch und sehr stockend. Ich musste, während ich mich tagelang um meine Freundin kümmerte, ständig nachfragen was als nächstes passiert um wieder die nächste Antwort zu erhalten.

Es sollte ein medizinisch begleiteter Rückflug stattfinden. Der eingeflogene Notarzt sprach kein Deutsch, sondern nur Englisch und kam einen Tag später als angekündigt. Der Notarzt selbst war dennoch hilfreich und auch sehr freundlich! Aufgrund einer deutlichen Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes meiner Freundin kam der Flug allerdings nicht mehr infrage.

Das Angebot für einen privaten Ambulanzflug lag etwa 30.000€ über dem der deutschen Konkurrenz. Wir vertrauten unser Geld aufgrund der vorherigen schlechten Erfahrungen und wegen des Wucherpreises EMS nicht mehr an und buchten bei der Konkurrenz. Hier hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Auch die Kommunikation war eine ganz andere und wir konnten dann nach nichtmal 30h fliegen.

Wir haben einen 21.800€ für die Flüge und 12.800€ für die medizinische Rückbegleitung an EMS gezahlt. Die Flüge haben nie stattgefunden. Bis heute haben wir auch keine Nachweise darüber erhalten, dass die Flüge überhaupt gebucht wurden. Das Abrechnen von nicht erbrachten Leistungen ist in Deutschland Betrug! Auf Englisch: It's a Scam! Und obwohl die Firma einen komplett deutschen Internetauftritt und ein deutsches Team hat, wird der Vertrag mit einer britischen Firma geschlossen. Deshalb ACHTUNG an alle Deutschen!
Selbstverständlich sind wir bereit für die Kosten des eingeflogenen Notarztes aufzukommen, aber doch nicht für Flüge welche nie gebucht wurden.

Ich habe bereits diese Rezension auf Google veröffentlicht. Daraufhin erhielt ich heftige Drohschreiben sowie Drohanrufe der Rechtsabteilung von EMS. Wir sind auf die Drohungen nicht eingegangen, haben die Bewertung aber in der Hoffnung auf eine einvernehmliche Lösung erstmal heruntergenommen. EMS hat es innerhalb von 30 Tagen, trotz Zusage, nicht geschafft eine Teilrückerstattung zu bearbeiten. Nach den ersten drohenden Anrufen kam auch keine Rückmeldung mehr. Wir haben mehrfach nachgefasst. Nach nun einem Monat ist unsere Geduld nun am Ende. Ich kann jedem raten, welcher sich in einer medizinischen Notsituation befindet einen großen Bogen um die Firma EMS zu machen. Es gibt genügend Alternativen am Markt, glaubt mir!

EDIT 14.10.2024:
Es ist unfassbar wie dreist und frech die Antwort von EMS ist. Auch entspricht diese nicht der Wahrheit. Macht einen großen Bogen um dieses unseriöse Unternehmen. Der physische Firmensitz ist in den Niederlanden, das Bankkonto und eine weitere Zweigfirma welche mit nur 1GBP Stammkapital gegründet wurde in London. Klagen sind aufgrund der Firmenstruktur sehr schwierig. Diese werdet ihr aber machen müssen, wenn ihr so wie die Anderen auch von diesem Unternehmen betrogen werdet.

While we understand the language barrier with the emergency doctor may have caused concern, all our medical personnel are highly trained and qualified to ensure patient safety, regardless of the language spoken and ultimately, through the assistance of our team, we were able to ensure the flow of communication and care provided were administered promptly. Unfortunately, the deterioration of your friend’s health impacted the feasibility of the planned flight, and we sympathize with the stress this situation caused. However, this is beyond our control as the service you booked for was due to be carried out via a commercial airline operator who have their own mandate for dictating any form of medical transfer which is strictly regulated and differs per airline. Still, under the circumstances, we offered you alternative sources of repatriation to alleviate your concerns and ensure that the patient could be looked after through a dedicated Air Ambulance instead, with added medical supervision to ensure her safety through the transport; however, these solutions were denied due to budget constraints on your end, inhibiting us from taking any further action on this matter.

Regarding the difference in pricing between EMS and the competition, medical repatriation costs can vary significantly due to factors like flight logistics, medical equipment, and personnel required but most of all the level of quality and care that can be provided. Our pricing, which was communicated transparently from the start, reflects the specialized services we provide and the 5 star service experience which no other provider in the industry can match. We regret that this led to a lack of trust, but we assure you that no services are billed without justification.

In terms of refunds, we apologize for the delay in processing and any frustration caused by the situation. We are committed to ensuring that our clients are treated fairly, and we will review your case again to ensure everything is handled properly. Please be aware that our legal department’s involvement was strictly to resolve the matter fairly and per the terms of your signed agreement with us, and we certainly did not intend to cause further distress.

EMS heeft ons als ziekenhuis uitmuntend geholpen bij het transport van een ernstig zieke jonge dame uit Mongolië terug naar huis en alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld en goed gecommuniceerd.
We zijn zeer tevreden over het verloop van het transport per vliegtuig met 2 begeleiders erbij.

Ems-ambulance.com levert dienst van € 28.210,00 niet en geeft geen geld terug

Standpunt van EMS advocaat: Cliënte heeft u op 31 augustus 2021 op de hoogte gesteld van de voortgang van de opdracht door u het voorgaande mee te delen. Deze mededeling viel u tegen waarna u zelf besloot om de opdracht direct te annuleren. Cliënte heeft daardoor niet meer de kans gekregen om het transport binnen redelijke termijn alsnog te verzorgen. Op dat moment was transport weliswaar onmogelijk om dat u simpelweg niet werd opgenomen, maar wellicht was het enkele dagen later alweer mogelijk.

1) Ik heb zowel mondeling als schriftelijk geen toestemming gegeven om de opdracht te annuleren, ik lag doodziek in mijn bed te wachten op hulp van EMS Ambulance, EMS Ambulance kan op geen enkele manier bewijzen dat ik de opdracht geannuleerd heb.

2) EMS had telefonisch aangegeven dat het transport binnen 48 uur naar Turkije plaats zou vinden. Het gesprek moet terug te luisteren zijn.

3) EMS heeft mij dagenlang aan het lijntje gehouden terwijl ik doodziek in bed lag. EMS Ambulance had als ambulance transport bedrijf kunnen weten dat Ministerie van Volksgezondheid van Turkije geen corona patiënten meer accepteerden, want zij hebben contactpersonen in Turkije waar ze samen meewerken, mijn transport opdracht naar Turkije had sinds dag 1 niet geaccepteerd mogen worden door EMS Ambulance. Kort samengevat ook enkele dagen later kon EMS het transport naar Turkije niet verzorgen wegens het besluit van de Ministerie van Volksgezondheid van Turkije. Het opname was absoluut geen probleem volgens Memorial Hospital Istanbul, dit is schriftelijk bevestigd. Echter het transport naar Turkije mocht niet plaats vinden van de Ministerie van Volksgezondheid van Turkije. Het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid van Turkije had al besloten om geen corona patiënten uit het buitenland te accepteerden, dit was al bekend voordat ik om hulp vroeg bij EMS Ambulance, EMS Ambulance had dit moeten weten voordat EMS zijn factuurtje naar mij verstuurde.
Toen als doodziek patiënt is het niet mijn taak om dit ook uit te zoeken, dit had EMS Ambulance hadden moeten.

Ik voel me behoorlijk misleid door EMS ambulance, nog steeds wacht ik op mijn geld, al sinds september 2021.
EMS Ambulance geniet nu van mijn centjes zonder daar iets voor hoeven te doen.

U bent gewaarschuwd! Mijn advies is om geen zaken te doen met EMS Ambulance en uw geliefden niet aan EMS Ambulance over te laten, je wordt opgelicht waar je bij staat, opletten dus! En het gezondheid staat op het spel van u en uw geliefden als u in zee gaat met EMS Ambulance.
