I had ordered a non-adjustable watch strap by mistake and it was too big. My first thought? Oh gosh no not a return!!! I was confused initially by the returns portal, so emailed customer service. Becky from customer service was a gem, she contacted me back promptly, and soon enough I had the return request set up. To my pleasant surprise, she even made sure to email me to confirm with me the return was approved, once I had received the return post sticker file via email. She helped made what could've been (for me) a nightmare (anxiety disorder) into an easy and pleasant experience. This was my second time replacing my watch strap with you guys and I'm staying with you for life. And will be pointing people your way. Thank you Becky, thank you everyone at the Equipo team. Love the variety, ease and the whole experience beginning to end.

Ordering process was simple, HOWEVER the after-sales care was seriously lacking. I ordered and paid for items based off of the website, two days later I got an email from the sales team to say that they had made a mistake on the website and a product I ordered was not in stock. This was an error on their part. I picked a replacement product to which there was a price difference. They then sent me another invoice to cover the difference. The difference was $14. One would expect a company to act in good faith and given the delays already ship the products. They waited for the invoice to be paid. When I complained to the sales team about their lack of good faith for such a small difference they offered me a refund of the shipping amount. I accepted this as a resolution, but I have never heard from them since and I have not received said promised refund.

I have since been contacted by the company who agreed with my position. They were professional at this juncture and apologised for the inconvenience and frustration I received. They mentioned they have made adjustments to their processes now to prevent this happening to anyone else in the future. They also processed the refund back to me quickly.

I agreed as part of them sorting the issue out with me that I would edit my review and mention their positive moves as well as the negative.

Good communication when NZ Post delayed delivery . Equipo were quick to respond and investigate. The strap I purchased is even more comfortable than the original one. Very easy to install. Loving the look and feel.
