This is a scam company

This is a scam company operating under the website name of EVENGO. You can't talk to anyone or get a reply from anyone (watch the non-specific replies to the other negative reviews against this company). The cancellation of my booking (central London) was on the day and "due to sickness" (check out this common excuse on other reviews).

That was on the 17th April and now in May - and despite multiple, unanswered emails - I still haven't been refunded my £90 deposit so have raised a fraud case with my bank.

We completely refute the suggestion that we are a scam company. We handle around 90–150 bookings each weekend and maintain around a 97% attendance rate. Where cancellations do happen, the most common reason is genuine illness, and in the small number of cases where we cannot replace the entertainer, it is usually because availability is limited. In some rural areas, we experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers.

Also if any cancellations happen you are entitled to a full refund! No Questions asked!

We are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong.

The entertainers shown on our website represent real services we offer; however, availability can vary depending on location, date, and individual entertainer circumstances. While every effort is made to book the chosen entertainer or act, unforeseen illnesses or availability issues can occasionally impact who is able to attend, and in those situations we do our best to provide a suitable alternative.

had a really disappointing experience with Evengo. They cancelled our entertainment booking just one day before the event, which left us scrambling to find a last-minute replacement. What made it even worse was the complete lack of communication — they were impossible to reach. They didn’t answer phone calls, and emails went unanswered as well.

This level of unreliability and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially when you’re trusting a company with an important event. I would not recommend Evengo to anyone looking for dependable service.

I’m really sorry to hear how stressful this was, especially with the booking being cancelled the day before your event. We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing that would be when you are relying on entertainment to go ahead as planned.

We are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong.

We handle around 90–150 bookings each weekend with around a high attendance rate, but in the small number of cases where cancellations happen (In less popular areas) , It is usually due to illness or situations where we are unable to source a suitable replacement in time.

That said, the lack of clear communication you have described is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we’re sorry you felt ignored when trying to reach us.

NEVER book from this Company.
Cancelled the event with 1hr Notice on the day, and I have yet to recived a refund on my deposit.
Everyone had travelled 2hrs to the event location for a No Show, terrible service and Company needs to be held accountable for false advertising services they clearly do nit provide, but happily take deposits for. Shambolic, DO NOT BOOK.

We are very sorry to read this and completely understand why you would be upset, especially with people having travelled a long distance only for the event not to go ahead. That is not the experience we want anyone to have.

We do occasionally get things wrong. While we handle a high number of bookings each weekend with a strong attendance rate overall, there are rare occasions where last-minute illness or an inability to source a suitable replacement can lead to a cancellation.

It is very simple: if no one attends, you receive a refund. Once a refund has been processed, UK banks can take around 3 to 7 working days for the funds to reach the account, with international payments sometimes taking longer. Unfortunately, that part is outside of our control.

Absolutely disgraceful service booked 2 things 1 cancelled a day before and the other after the event was meant to happen just ignored my messages and phone calls had the whole Stag waiting. Had paid deposits and everything.. truly pathetic

Well well well…

Well well well…. Didn’t review before booking wish I had looks like the old “illness card”has been played again!!! Received email informing that the performer is ill the day before and offered a stripper instead 🤦🏻‍♂️ seems most of the reviews here are the same avoid this company at all costs. Now I’ll try and get my deposit back which by the sounds of it is difficult. Should be shutdown!!!

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service, organised an event months in advance, only to be let down by 2 of the 3 entertainers on the day they were ment to turn up, don’t order a midget or a Roly poly they don’t have any on the books despite having loads on the website they take your deposit and cancel last minute, causing unnecessary stress, and then refuse to refund deposits! Do not use this company it’s a waste of time.
